Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

While I'm not a massive fan of BB Creams, I was really excited to try this one from Garnier as I have heard really good things about it. Garnier claims that this BB Cream will even out skin tone, reduce blemishes, and hydrate your skin all while leaving you with a gorgeous glow. It's described as the 'ultimate daily all-in-one solution for instantly flawless, healthy glowing skin" - and this sounded like a product I needed in my life!

I like the packaging that Garnier have come up with; the tube is a beige colour with silver writing, and it looks pretty sitting in the bathroom. It has a sturdy flip top lid which closes well, so you don't need to fret about it leaking all though your bag. The tube comes in box which tells you a little more about the product and what it claims to do.

The BB Cream itself is an average consistency, and I found I didn't need too much to cover my face. I always apply BB Creams with my fingers as I find this is the best way to 'press' the product in to the skin. I tried the shade "Light", and it is still just a little too dark for me (pale girl problems!) I am about an NW15 in the winter, and I think this would suit a NW20 or 25 much better, as it comes off a little orange-y on me. Hopefully come summer, it should be the perfect shade for me!

The BB Cream is very easy to blend into the skin, and it does give an instant glow. I found it did help to even out my skintone and minimised any redness in my cheeks. It's absolutely hopeless at covering blemishes however, and I still needed to use a concealer to cover a couple that I had. I think if you suffered from a lot of acne this probably wouldn't be the product for you, or you would likely need to use a foundation over it.

I have tried this out both under foundation and by itself, and I have to say I prefer using it by itself. It can look a little heavy under foundation and I found it felt quite heavy on my skin. When worn by itself I just set with a little pressed powder, and I found that it kept my skin looking even and glowing all day.

Overall I really like how it looks on my skin. I love the glowy look and like the fact that it is lighter than foundation. I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't cover blemishes as well as I had hoped.

I really enjoyed this product. I found it great as it had a built in tint that helped with full coverage. I found it spread easy, had a great sent and good product consistency. I trialled it as both a foundation and as a base primer before I put foundation on (see tips for outcome).

I think you really need to know your skin colour as I could imagine without testing in store, it would be easy to get the wrong one. I got med which is my "normal" tone but had to be careful not to use too much as it would look really fake. I don't think it has as an amazing flawless look as it states in the add (a bit airbrushed) but still is a Great product for the price of it. I would buy this and recommend to friends.

I have used this product before, and not only am I a fan of this Garnier BB cream but their collection of BB creams are all lovely products. The packaging is great for easy dispensing, as all product sits near the lid end of the tube. The texture is thicker than most BB creams but doesnt block pores. They have a colour range so suitable for a different range of skin colours. The smell is nice and not off putting. I found the product does have good coverage however I like to set with a light powder for the product to last longer. over all. Happy with this Bb Cream

As someone who doesn't wear makeup very often, I found this BB cream to be the perfect solution to use as an everyday light coverage without being over the top. My skin is just normal - not too oily or dry, but the overall health of my skin hasn't been very good lately due to exam stress and slightly unhealthy eating/sleeping habits. The consistency is not too thick, I was a little bit daunted by the colour initially but it actually toned in really well! It was very easy to apply, I just applied it like a normal moisturiser and blended it in. The coverage isn't too heavy, so I will definitely use this instead of my foundation for during the day. The fragrance is nice, not overpowering and leaves the skin smelling fresh. I can apply this in the morning and come home in the afternoon with it still on, it lasts for several hours with no problems. The packaging is aesthetically pleasing, the box provides lots of information and includes how to apply if you want lighter or fuller coverage. The actual container is simple to use, however I found it got a bit messy around the opening of the tube. I would definitely recommend this product, I think its a very worthwhile product, and with a reasonable price (compared to other foundations) it is definitely something to look at investing in.

Left my skin feeling hydrated, the colour was too dark for my skin and my foundation I put over the top did seem to take on a lot of the colour. In the right shade would maybe use by itself on a 'no make up day' otherwise would stick to plain moisturizer or primer under my foundation

I have fairly normal skin, my only specific concerns are some redness from rosacea around my nose and light oil in the T-zone. I usually use another BB cream from more a expensive brand, so I was delighted to try this and find that I actually preferred it! The consistency is really nice, unlike other BB creams it's not to thick or waxy and feels more like a tinted moisturiser. I applied it with clean fingers and found it blended well, melting into my skin much better than my other BB cream which seems to sit on top. I didn't really notice a fragrance, so if there is one I would say it is neither unpleasant nor strong. The coverage was great- far better than I expected, it's sheer but somehow still covered the redness around my nose and a few spots. The finish is probably best described as dewy, and I would recommend a light dusting of power on the T-zone if you are prone to oil. It lasted all day, and because you don't need much the 50ml tube will go a long way. This product retails for less than half what U spent on my last BB cream, so not only is it a bargain but I prefer it. The packaging is signature Garnier style, not to fussy and with a practical flip-lip.

I agree that the product is hydrating as it says it is, I used it directly over my serum without my usual moisturiser (something I would not do with my other BB cream!) and my skin felt lovely.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend, I've tried really hard to find a fault with it, used it everyday this week, alone and under makeup and I can honestly say I just love it.

Awesome product! DEFINITELY creates a lovely glow and you can feel that it is hydrating too, and for a long time. The texture is good - not too thick OR too watery. Is great if you just want a boost - I have normal skin with some blotchy bits and I wouldn't say it gives a 'flawless' complexion, but it can go over other foundation if you need full coverage and an extra 'glow' or I use it when I'm off to yoga or having an 'at home' day as it smells lovely and fresh, feels nice and gives me some coverage without the full feeling of heavy foundation.

I have pretty normal skin but don’t wear make-up on a regular basis so I found this product ideal as it gave me the results I wanted; no more blemishes and left perfect looking skin. It isn't overly thick and it is simple to apply – just a small amount on the finger tip like you would moisturiser. There is no overpowering smell and it blends well with natural colour leaving an even looking and accurately claimed ‘flawless’ finish. The only negative I found (and this could be because I am not used to wearing foundation) was that it felt slightly heavy and although it lasted all day I felt the need to be careful as though it might rub off on clothing or if I scratched my face. In terms of price I would be inclined to purchase this product as it is readily available (supermarket) and very reasonably priced. The packaging is perfect for the product and the tube makes it super easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a simple but stunning beauty routine, apply in the morning and cleanse off at night.

Hi there, I found the cream really nice and easy to apply.I have some red broken veins and spots some big pores it covered nicely.My skin felt soft and looked much better.the colour was a bit dark for me so I mixed it with my Hydroxatone anti-aging BBC cream perfect then nice and light .I liked it
