Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I purchased Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream while I was at the supermarket because it was on special and I was excited to try it but it wasn't good to me. I have a combo to oily skin and this BB cream makes me oily. I have a weird skin and some BB and foundation liquid just doesn't suit my skin type. I've read some good reviews about it that's why I also wanted to try it but it just didn't go well on my face. I love Garnier products but maybe this wasn't made for my weird skin type.

I'm a fair, normal skinned 45 year old. I found this product thick and greasy. I was having to put moisturizer on under it and powder on top to try make it easier to put on and tone down the 'orange' look. I gave it to my niece and daughter to try too and they felt much the same as me. I wouldn't recommend this or buy it. I could feel it on my face all day. Thanks for letting me try it....but not for me.

NB cream review

The formula is Thick and a little goes a long way Application is easy I used my finger tips. The pigmentation was not too over powering for my very fair completion which is hard to find On first impression after application it looks very shiny but it absorbs quite well into the skin and can still be felt on the skin hours later because of this it felt as if it was caked on my face and I wanted to remove the product off my face Unfortunately this BB cream is fragranced which is a shame. A combination of its thick feeling on my skin and the over powering fragrance has hindered me from using this daily. It has also broken me out so I have stopped using this, I might add I have not change anything in my beauty routine apart from this BB cream and I hardly never break out. I'd only use this product every now and then maybe to put some coverage for impromptu guests or dinner date I wouldn't want to wear it for a whole day on my face

This product might be good for someone who likes a no-makeup look, however that is not me. I have purchased this in the past, and after trying a second tube I have concluded that I don't get on too well with this product. Firstly, I am fair-skinned and although the product says "light" I am only able to wear this comfortably when I am at my most tanned. The coverage is pretty average considering that the formula is so thick. I found that all of my freckles, spots, even redness would still show through. I might as well have used moisturiser instead - it would have given the same coverage. Furthermore, this product is super oily. I tend towards having normal-dry skin and this made me shiny. It didn't last longer than a few hours on my skin - even with powder. The scent is pretty nice and smells quite floral but it is almost too strong and I can smell it all day. The packaging is bland and is nothing special, however I do like the fact that it is in a tube as that makes it easy to dispense. Overall, I was disappointed by this product.

I think that this product should be labelled a tinted moisturizer rather then a bb cream. Its nothing compared to other brands of bb cream that I have used. It has a thick sticky consistency and made me look really orange and made my face look worse then ever and also made me break out, i think this was due to the fact that it was so oily. The packaging is good and it has a nice smell however this product was not for me.

I really didn't like this product. It has a unusual smell and texture. After a few days of use I started to break out, I have semi sensitive skin but I haven't had bad skin like this in forever.I didn't think it made my skin look much different at all.

I absolutely love Garnier products like I have used just about all of them but this little beauty didn't really do it for me.

The packaging is great with the flip top very clean and easy to use but that's where it ended for me. The consistency was good but felt it was too thick for a BB, coverage was too much for a BB and to build on it for more coverage it made me look orange! It was too dark for my complexion, I'm actually going to try this product in the summer when my skin tone is slightly darker, it just didn't work for me I found it slightly greasy for my normal skin. Not a big fan on this but normally I love Garnier products.

I won this BB cream on Garnier's Facebook spin the wheel promotion. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this as I would have been way more disappointed then I am right now.

I wanted to try this BB cream as I have been using the Garnier BB cream for oily skin which has a matte finish. I wanted to achieve a more dewy/hydrated finish from a BB cream. I was quite excited about trying this one. I like the packaging how its more solid and a better shape than the matte finish one (and once you open it it doesn’t leak out). I was shocked to see how thick this is. I got the shade “light” . Well you may as well call this light orange. You may need to use a sponge or bush to blend this in as it is quite difficult to do it with your fingers. I had to mix mine with moisturizer to try and make it work for me. Once applied I expected a dewy hydrated finish. It came off as really shiny. I tried to use a powder on top to tone it down but it didn’t really make too much of a difference.

I am so disappointed with this BB cream. I cant stand the smell of it. I applied and started sneezing like crazy and my friend came over and started sneezing as well. The fragrance in this is so crazy strong. It also completely broke me out! It was an awful experience! I think ill just stick with the matte finish BB cream from now on.
