Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

My first experiences of this product have been fairly average. The packaging is nice: both in size and presentation, and the flip top cap makes it more than possible to carry this product in ones handbag. I didn't particularly like the sent as it smells very strongly like sunscreen even though the SPF rating is only 15+ compared to my regular Missha BB (rated SPF 45+). The coverage provided by this product is light, almost nonexistent even when set with a powder however it does indeed seem to be very gentle on skin as i observed no redness nor any itching or breakouts. I personally wouldn't buy this product however it might suit some people who don't require strong sun protection or have blemishes to cover.

Firstly the shade was perfect for me, I had light for sensitive skin, and I did love how weightless it felt. I am not a huge base layer wearer, only because of the sensitive skin issue, but I had issues with this product in the way it went on. I tried applying to skin with fingers, brush, before cleansing and toning, without cleansing and toning, but it just came up all patchy and almost a dry crumbly look? If I wanted to keep using it I would need to add a foundation on top or a bronzing powder etc to get rid of the flaky look on my skin. It did seem to even out the redness that I sometimes get, but I just don't think it would work for me

I have very dry skin that will nearly never get oily. When I used this BB Cream and checked my face half way through the day I was surprised to see that I needed powder. It had great coverage and also hydrated my skin.

I really wanted to like this product, it is made for sensitive skin so I thought it was right up my alley but unfortunately it just really did not work with my skin.

When I first received and tried the product my skin was recovering from a massive break out so I thought it would be the perfect time to test a product made for sensitive skin. Within two hours of using the product my face was itchy and irritated and my blemishes were kind of burning so I removed the bb cream from my skin. I tried it again the next day and it did the same thing so my skin was obviously too sensitive to use this product (I had been able to use long wear foundation without any problem though). I let my skin settle for a few days and then tried again, this time it was much more successful, it blended much better into my skin and my skin was not itchy nor did it burn (thankfully!!).

The problem I have with this product however, is that it doesn't really set on my skin at all so it just feels oily. I also found it to be not as hydrating as it claims to be and really emphasized any dry/flaky skin (I have dry/combo skin). Ultimately though the colour is what did it for me. It is only available in two shades and as I have very very fair skin, the light shade is just way too dark on me!

On the positive side it had a really nice thick consistency and blended nicely into my skin once my skin settled down after my nasty break out. It had a faint sun block scent which went away after a while and really didn't bother me. It is fairly light on the skin and has very light coverage. It definitely covered up some of the redness on my face though and would suit those who don't need much coverage or for those who just want to throw something on and be out the door. If there was a shade that suited my fair skin then I would definitely continue to use this product.

All in all I have mixed feelings about the product because of the initial experience I had. The formula doesn't really seem to be for sensitive skin although it might just be that my skin is extra sensitive. It would be much better if there were more shade choices as I have never found a bb cream that is the right shade for my fair skin and the light shade was way too dark. It's not a bad product it just didn't really work for me unfortunately!

As with the "normal" version, when I first squirted some of the BB cream out of the tube I noticed that it was thicker and creamier than BB creams I've used in the past, meaning that it was much easier to dispense the right amount. It had a pleasant (but not strong) scent. My skin is mostly normal but can sometimes be a bit sensitive, and I'd already tried the BB cream for "normal" skin, so I was really interested to find out how this would stack up.

Well, I've had breakouts, redness, irritation ... everything that someone with sensitive skin is trying to avoid! I preferred the "normal" formulation as it didn't give me any of these side effects.

I prefer to apply BB cream with my hands because it gives me a more natural finish, and I was initially pleased with how dewy and beautiful my skin looks while wearing this, just not happy with how it made my skin look after a few hours of wear.

I wouldn't recommend this to someone with sensitive skin.

This BB Cream is really lovely, it goes on so smoothly, is really nourishing, and has a nice light cover. Unfortunately it is still too much for my sensitive skin. I had my doubts when I looked at the long list of ingredients - that's usually an indication that a product and I aren't going to get along well. As I thought, it did what most products do and gave me breakouts and dry skin at the same time. I have continued using it as a really light coverage around my eyes to positive affect. For truly sensitive skin, this product may not be the answer, but if your skin is only mildly sensitive it should be a lovely, soothing option.

I used the Garnier 'miracle' BB cream this morning, and lets just say i'm still waiting for the 'miracle' to happen. I had the cream in the 'light' shade but it definitely was not light! Now I'm a pale skinned person, but I wouldn't consider myself the palest of pales! i usually use the 2nd or 3rd shade in when it comes to choosing foundations. But this was not light at all!! It didn't blend well, it left me with little orangey patches because my skin was obviously too pale for it. So already i am not liking this 'miracle BB cream' .....

Now it was quite moisturising, which it says it is! So i'm happy with that aspect of it! But it didn't quite hide my blemishes or make me look perfect.... So i think i'll stick to my foundation to cover my blemishes, and photo shop to make me look perfect ;)

I have sensitive skin, and this cream didn't make me break out in rashes , so A++ for the sensitive part :) All in all, I wasn't very happy with this BB cream :( Maybe I might keep it for summer, when my skin might be a bit darker so it will blend better!

Garnier BB cream Sensitive in light = NOT FOR PALE PEOPLE!

This type of product is great if you have already nice looking skin. Since mine is either dry or oily it didn't help either of them and wore throughout the day as I would expect from a bb cream anyways.

I have sensitive skin, not extremely sensitive but I am weary of what I put on my skin, I have had a few reactions. when I first opened the BB cream it is a thick consistency. My thought were that this would be a great product as it will stay on and I will have the coverage that I want. I was really disappointed as the day went on I was aware of the coverage fading, unless I did a touch up the end of the day I would be back to bare skin. I would recommend it as a quick way of getting a few hours of cover for heading to the beach as it has the SPF in it which is good but for every day use I would not recommend it.
