Garnier Body Superfood Watermelon and Hyaluronic Acid

Literally on the first use I noticed a difference in my skin, it looked smooth and hydrated. I even woke up with my skin still looking and feeling hydrated, which I didn’t even get from high end body moisturisers! I found it was fantastic after a day in the sun. The smell is amazing if you like the smell of watermelon and a little of this goes a long way, the only problem I had is that it’s in a tub and I would have preferred a tube or bottle for hygiene reasons.

This gel cream body moisturiser is packaged the same as the Hair Food tubs that are classic garnier now. I love the gel cream, it’s lighter than a standard cream, less greasy feeling. It really does hydrate! It is a little sticky for about 20 minutes after applying but maybe I was too generous with the amount. After that though it’s amazing! The only issue I have with it is the scent, it’s too sickly sweet for my taste, that’s the only reason I probably wouldn’t buy again, if it were more neutral I definitely would!

I was excited to see Body Superfood as I love Garnier's Hair Food. I tried the Watermelon with Hyaluronic Acid which is vegan friendly and 96% natural ingredients.

Firstly, it smells amazing! It is described as a gel-cream, it definitely has more of a water hydration feel than the greasy oil based feel a lot of body lotions have. It soaks it quickly and still smells good on the skin. I found the texture great as it spreads easily. My skin felt hydrated 24 hours later, even after showering. I'm definitely sold on this and can't wait to try the rest of the range.

This product was amazing! The watermelon scent was delious and reminded me of summer. After the first application my skin felt smoother and much more hydrated. The gel-cream spread easily, a little bit goes a long way. It absorbed quickly into my skin and made an instant difference to my dry winter legs. Great for getting ready for the summer months. With continued use it helped immensely with the texture of my elbows and knees which are always drier. I'll definitely be buying this product again and highly recommend this to others looking for a good hydrating body cream

I was lucky to trial this product. I love how it comes in a big tub. The consistency was nice and creamy and not too thick. It was just right in my opinion. It was easy to apply to my skin and made it feel silky and non hydrated. The smell was a bit different, a bit of getting used to but not too bad.

I was so excited when I heard Garnier were doing their Skinfood in a body lotion and the fact that it comes in the same giant tub. It smells like watermelon but not in an artificial way and leaves a subtle scent on the skin. I’ve been using this morning and night and the dry skin on my legs has gone. I’ve also used it over scratches on my arms and it didn’t sting at all. The best thing about this product though is definitely how quickly it is absorbed into the skin. I can apply it and put clothes on straight away. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to try the other scents . Thanks BR for giving me the opportunity to try out this divine body lotion.

Love love the scent of watermelon, it’s so refreshing on my skin. The consistency of the cream is thick- which means will go far and be long lasting. This is good as it has the 12m (12 months) on the side so should be used within a year. First thought it was white in colour till I had a better look and it’s a red/pink shade. Easy to apply, the lid was easy to take off without spilling the contents, a small amount on my fingers was enough to spread over my legs. This is where I thought the test would be better to try. A little goes a long way, so a 50cent size did one leg quite happily. My legs only got a coat of cream every 2 days as that was all that was necessary. The moisture was retained in my skin after the first application. I thought it might be greasy or linger on the skin, but I could get dressed immediately after applying which was the first cream I could do that with so great absorption. I viewed this cream at the supermarket and found it be be around $7.50 per container. This was a good deal considering the amount needed and it will be long lasting. The packaging is bright, easy to read and handy if dropped as it’s sturdy construction. I had a read of the ingredients and found it to be very interesting, the normal shea butter, coconut oils, but the hyaluronic acid comes from fermented soybean corn and wheat. All very natural ingredients. I was happy to see these elements incorporated in the cream. I found in the time I used the cream to be very effective for my legs and now will try on arms and body.

Oh ... the minute I touched my Garnier Body Superfood I was intrigued. I expected a lotion and got a luxurious gel cream, which just slides onto my skin. You can feel the quenching!! My skin soaked it up easily and felt divine. I've also waited two days (to check the 48hour promise) before I tried it again, and they're right! My skin was still feeling relaxed but not dry. I will definitely be using this product as a regular "must" and like that it has not been tested on animals, is 96% natural... and is economical too!

Well well, i kind of fell in love with it the first time i opened the lid. The gel was slightly creamy looking and had a very delicate touch of pink. It’s scent was very subtle like natural. It had an appearance that looked so much like yogurt. No wonder they had a do not eat sign on it. It’s texture was surprisingly light and extremely spreadable. I felt like dipping my fingers in again and again. It was fun.

It comes in a decent sized tub container like the Garnier hairfood. The light, soft texture was amazing. It smooths off into a thin layer after spreading so don’t need a lot to cover. A little goes a long way. The gel cream has a slightly cool texture which makes it perfect for the summer season. My skin absorbed it nice and quickly. No greasy nor overly sticky feeling.

It states on the container it hydrates skin up to 10 layers deep, so will see whether my skin improves after a longer term use. It also states that it is fast absorbing and it’s exactly right. This is perfect for your quick after shower-before bed routine as it just sinks in. Gives your skin a quick drink of hydration when you need it.

Looking forward to trying the repair butter tub.

Love this body superfood goes on super easy a little goes a long way. Love smell and the pinky colour. Absorbs well no sticky residue. I have been using once day and my skin still feels super soft.
