e.l.f Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter

I was on the look out for a good highlighting product to use under my eyes, so I picked this up at my local Kmart. The highlighter does a good job at brightening up my under eye circles - I put it on in a bit of a triangular shape and blend it in, and it looks good. It doesn't settle into my under eye lines, unlike many others. The highlighter can be use on the lids as a bit of a primer as it dries matte - I wouldn't usually do it but it's good if you're travelling.

Unfortunately, the concealer isn't great. It's very runny, so can't easily cover a raised pimple or troublesome spots. It's okay for flat skin or minor blemishes, but can't be counted on to do anything for the tough spots. I've used it when I've been travelling but I'd rather use something else.

I bought this mainly for the concealer with the highlight being bonus. For me this isnt much more than an extra foundation layer. When I think of co cealer designed for under eyes I want it to conceal my bags and this elf just doesnt do that for me. The colour I got in fair is a good match. I like the compact design and how easy it is to use with the wands. The highlighter isnt much to brag about but it does add a slight sparkle so I pair it with a more opaque highlighter. Overall, I fi d this better as an eye primer than a concealer but ill still use it :) for the price you cant expect perfection

Mixed feelings on this product. I quite liked the highlighter but the concealer did me no favours. It was cheap but I ouldnt be purchasing again. No coverage, so watery that you couldn’t even build it up. Would love to see the highlighter sold separately as I would purchase this again. For the price it would be worth it just for the highlighter.

I tried this product out recently. I found it was not really ideal for my under eye circles as i prefer thick coverage and i found that this coverage was very light. As for the white highlighter, it gave the slightest shimmer effect not enough for my liking.

This product i have used for a month now and it is not the best concealer and highlighter as it dose not give me a full coverage . Also the highlighter is not as bright it rubs into my foundation. I find it doesn't last as long as other concealers

I must admit I was quite a fan of this when I first started to use it - mainly because of the brightening qualities this concealer gave.

This is not a concealer that you can use to cover blemishes/dark circles but rather a brightening highlight.

The product did crease on me and also broke down quite easily, it is definitely not a long wearing product.

The highlighter was a waste of time for my skin tone, barely noticeable and I like my highlight to be quite understated.

I bought this because it was cheap and i love most of ELF products, unfortunately i didnt like this.

I didnt feel like the concealer cover anything really well and didnt perform as a concealer should.

For the highlighter i didnt mind but i prefer a powder for highlighting instead of a liquid like this one. It does work though you shouldnt use a lot at once.

Not a lover or a hater of this product.

Did an elf haul and tucked one of these in to see what it was like... Not to big of a fan for the following negative reasons

a) the concealer is very thin more like a foundation

b) after a few hours I found that it started to look a little oily (I'm an oily combo skin type round t zones)

c)even with a primer doubled the concealer was still very minimal coverage

d) the brightener is very hard to cover and you can see it under foundation even after blending. I found myself today doing a bit of a blend in the car once it had been a few hours and my make up had started to wear a little. NO ONE wants to see white lol

Positive side of this a) it's cheap and you dont feel bad with using alot of product

b) you can use the brightener for a highlighter as I found it also suiting for the lip arch, bridge of nose, chin and middle of the brows.

c) it blends with a little elbow grease but it is blendable.

d) its smooth and a nice consistency for the noob to be playing with

e) you make a mistake its easily fixable with this concealer and highlighter

I really like the idea of this - a mix of concealer and highlighter! What's not to love!

The actuality of it was a bit disappointing though. It did a decent job of covering, but it wasn't exceptional. What I did like about it is that it didn't seem to pool under my eyes or crease at all.

It's great value, and I would buy it again - but it's nothing exceptional.
