e.l.f Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter

I'm not so impressed with this concealer. I thought it being elf would be better then what it is, but for the price I can't complain. I have really dark under eyes and this product was too thin and didn't cover it. I tried using multiply different brushes and blenders but nothing seemed to make it look any better. When I did wear it for a whole day, after two hours it had gone patchy and you could see my dark under eyes. How ever I found it was a good concealer for red spots and the brightening effect was pretty good. Over all this is an allright conclear but I definitely wouldn't recommend as an under eye concealer

purchased this recently due to my other concealer running out and wanted a cheaper option. Fair to say this doesn't measure up, hardly covers and blemishes or my dark eye circles and the highlighter is very watery and seems to wash off my foundation

Concealer - The product s very runny and thin, is hard to blend in and does not cover my dark under eye circles well at all. It gives off quite a shiny/oily appearance I always have to use a powder with it. Doesn't cling to wrinkles or lines but just doesn't give me the coverage I look for in a concealer.

Highlighter- Im not a fan of the highlighter either. The formula is quite glittery and doesnt give off the subtle shimmering glowy appearance I look for in a highlighter. The glitter is quite obvious and I actually had to remove my makeup and do it all over again when I used it for the first time.

I have used this a few times, the concealer doesnt do a lot for me as the formula is quite thin, the applicator applies it funny as well.

The highlighter is quite sparkly which isnt really my thing either.

This product I bought in my own little elf haul when I had a little spree on iHerb..

Loved it when I first purchased it, especially because it had both concealer and Highlighter.. However, I found a few problems.

Problem 1-The concealer side is SO messy! I dunno if it was just me, but somehow the concealer seems to bunch up on the top of the applicator where you screw it back on, and then your concealer just goes everywhere and it's just a waste of product and also, not fun..

Problem 2- The lightest shade is not that light. I am not that pale, but also not very tanned. But when I chose the lightest shade, it perfectly matches my skin tone. While this would work well with covering blemishes, it's not so good for under eye concealing, as I prefer that concealer to be lighter..

Problem 3- It doesn't cover blemishes very well, you can still see them and it does not hide or help to help my under eye circles at all. It also clings to dry spots on my face :(

However the great thing about this product, in my opinion is the highlighter! I love it for under my brow bone, and you don't get very much product on the applicator either so it's easy to apply without going overboard. Plus it's three dollars so who can go wrong!! I would recommend to a newbie kind of audience, if you're still experimenting, or if your a younger teen and not sure about make up quite yet!

i found this very a very light conceler for under my eyes - too light actually. it made me look washed out & even more tired and the bags even more noticable than before - wont be buying this again.

I bought this off iherb, and I'm glad I did, as I would have been pretty dissapointed if I had to pay $6.99 for this, don't get me wrong. For a day-to-day concealer it works great for my needs to run a few errands in town or go to playcentre with my daughter, but if I had an office job and needed it to stay all day, I would give it a miss.

The packaging is fine, for $1.99 it does the job, it is very light, but I like that the little vial that they come in are plastic so its good to know it will stand up to a fall or thrown about in a handbag.

No perfume to it, which is good as around the eye area, I can get very sensitive and sore eyes.

The highlighter is a white liquid with slight shimmer, it isn't very pigmented but works okay for a brow bone highlight.

The concealer is good to cover up my under eye circles, just pat it around with my ring finger and set it with a translucent powder and it does the trick. It isn't very long lasting though maybe 4-5 hours maximum.

I bought this product a while back thinking, 'what do I have to lose?' E.l.f products are cheap for sure, but I was really impressed with the quality of the highlighter end of the product; a nice, non-coloured shimmery liquid, that blended well into foundation to create a natural glow. Many more expensive products seem to make this claim, but just end up looking like glitter on your cheekbones! The concealer end of the product was a good colour for me, but didn't blow me away with it's coverage abilities. However, it didn't tend to look cakey either, so I can't really complain. Packaging wise, I did find it annoying that I couldn't get everything out of the container with the wand, but it was fairly small and easy to store. On the whole, it's probably worth trying out if you want an affordable, natural makeup look.

I liked this concealer side of things wasnt to heavy. Very light weight wear. Didn't have much coverage though. Also the highlighter just rubbed into my foundation and went a cream/beige colour anyway so didnt see the point in that side.

I use the highlighter on my brow bones and cheekbones, I love this side of the product and the illuminising effect it gives. You only need to use the slightest amount though otherwise it can end up looking far to white.

The concealer I'm still not sure if I like or not, depending on the day I have a Love/Hate relationship with this concealer, it gives very minimal sheer coverage, wouldn't reccomend if you were wanting more coverage. Consistency is a little watery for my liking and is not a heavy concealer, but it blends smoothly and evenly

For the price I would definitely buy again just to use the highlighter

I'd recommend using it over a primer to give it more stick and staying power
