Love this primer! It does everything it should. I have dry skin and whenever I use this it feels like my face is so moisturised and flawless. Makes a perfect base for foundation and the light reflects with the primer to give a dewy finish but not oily looking!

I first bought this in need of a decent primer, before my Napoleon Auto-Pilot days. The formula looks beautiful. Its a sheer white and pearly colour. Its light and thin, the consistency is magic.
Its a decent primer, I think it works alright. It givers you a luminous, soft finish and sets your skin wonderfully. But Its just so shimmery. I love having matte skin and it finishes matte, but still has, not a glitter, but a dewy sheen. Some may love this but I tend to avoid it as I feel it makes me look oily or sweaty.
So it sat at the bottom of my make-up bag for a few months. Then I decided that it had the perfect glow to be a cheek highlighter. After my foundation was powdered and set, I lightly patted on the smallest amount onto my cheekbones and its just fantastic!
Its sheer and shimmery without being sparkly or 'wet' looking. Its my favourite highlighter at the moment, you only need the smallest amount so it will last me so much longer than it would if I used it as a primer.
I say if its not your favourite primer and you love a soft, not sparkly highlight, use it on your cheeks. You wont regret it.
Tips: Pat onto cheeks, brow bone and upper lip for a subtle and easy highlight.
I bought this after watching a YouTuber's SharonMakeUp and ChloeMorello. They both raved about this.
First off, I was a little disappointed by the size of the product, but a little goes a long, long way. But for the price, it's a bit of a rip-off. I'd rather buy something high-end that's bigger.
The formula itself is light, smooth, thin - which is great because you don't want big white streaks on your face!
I use it both under my foundation, if I wear any, or on top of my BB cream as a highlighter and either way it's perfect. Definitely gives you the results you want.
Tips: A little really does go a long way. So if you only want to use in particular places then make sure you don't go for a full squeeze of the stuff!
A great primer - leaves my skin silky and gives a great glow, This is the first primer I have tried and love how soft it makes my skin and how much easier it is for me to put my foundation over top!! In love - will never wear foundation with out it again!
Hmmm....this has a pearl effect coming out the bottle and did need a little for coverage. I liked how it sat on my skin and did help overall once foundation had been applied. I will use again but not 100% sold on it.
So this primer is really cheap but compared to buying one from MAC etc it is alot better value for money. I actually found it quite similar to the MAC one that i have also. It gives a really nice glow to your skin and goes on very smoothly. I also find it helps your foundation blend alot better especially if you like thicker heavier foundations such as Double Wear or Colourstay.
The first primer I ever bought! And if I was a makeup hoarder, it would probably be the last! I had never used a primer before and this one was affordable and so highly talked about, so I had to have it! I love a dewy finish to my makeup so this was right up my alley! It gives a really nice shimmer to my skin without it looking greasy, and makes any foundation look flawless! Im onto my second bottle of this primer, I really don't have anything bad to say about it! I wouldn't say that it prolongs the wear of my foundation but I don't really have a problem with my foundation going patchy throughout the day anyway. I love this primer and really recommend it to any skin type. I have used more expensive primers and I go back to my loreal everytime!
I recently tried out the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer after hearing fantastic things about it both online and from friends. Sadly though, it didn't work so well for me and I will not be repurchasing!
I love the packaging and principal behind this product - it comes in a sleek, pretty, pearly-coloured pump bottle, and claims to illuminate and prime your skin before foundation. I love the consistency and pearly nature of this product, and how it instantly smooths out my skin. It makes foundation very easy to apply and much easier to blend in, with a subtle glow underneath it. Immediately after finishing my makeup my skin looks glowy, dewy, and really pretty.
After a few hours, however, my skin still develops red patches and I need to top up my foundation just like normal. In addition to this, my skin looked more pourous and lack lustre than it did with just a layer of foundation and no primer. The soft glow was gone, and my face just looked a bit weird!
I tend to have quite sensitive, breakout-prone skin anyway, so it might just be my temperamental preference! But this product really didn't do much for me at all, and I will be returning to my simple routine of moisturising then immediately applying foundation.
As an reasonably oily skinned gal, I have been trying to get into dewy skin, but never quite managing to not look like an oil slick, but this primer has changed everything! It gives me skin a glow rather than a shine, helps my foundation (L'oreal True Match) stay on all day, which is a first, and it feels amazing! So soft and silky, without the thick silicone feeling. My skin also feels great after using this. Only thing I could have to say isn't so great is the smell, it kind of reminds me of sunscreen, but it isn't too offputting, just not the nicest. Other than that though, this is my favourite primer I have ever used.
Tips: Let it sink fully into your skin before applying foundation.
i love love love this primer! It makes my skin look so healthy , with the way it illuminates your skin , it is also so hydrating , which i especially love during the cooler months when my skin is feeling a little dull and lifeless, i recommend this to every body for a great skin booster under your foundation during the cooler months . This is my new favorite and will defiantly be buying it again! x
Tips: Get it!! So worth trying!! x
