I love this for a gentle exfoliation. Love the scent and often use this, particularly when I have a spray tan as it is gentle but still helps remove the dead skin to avoid any blotchy removals. Definately a re at buy for the price.
Tips: If going for a tan use a more coarse exfoliation prior and this after to prolong the tan.
first win - smells super good! can't get enough of that smell when you open the lid... mmm! second win - really good beads for exfoliating your skin. A must have for the shower :)
I love this body wash. Like the exfoliating face scrub, this body wash is amazing. It smells so good I could eat it (which to me says I absolutely should buy it!), leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth.
The granules in the formula aren't super fine, but they're fine enough to not be abrasive on the skin. I find it works really well on the elbows and the heels if I don't have anything finer before I fake tan.
The size of the bottle itself is good value for money as well.
Tips: I like to use with an exfoliating glove to really give my skin a good scrub, but works fine on it's own too.
This is a very good body scrub for getting rid of excess skin. It has good packaging, in my opinion this product did what it said it would and exfoliated my skin. It is a really good product for the price and it lasted me quite a while. However i will not be repurchasing this product as I found the smell to be too overpowering.
This product smells good (quite a sweet smell) I do tend to use quite a lot when I use it so never lasts long! Good exfoliater, I have brought this a few times and have found it does tend to be a little bit runnier than I would like but good for doing what it says it does and doesn't break the bank!
Tips: Use it with exfoliating gloves (this makes a little of it go a long way and gives you an extra good exfoliation before tanning!)
I have used the face version of this for years and it has always been a favourite. I recently used the body wash and I am pleased to report that it didn't disappoint.
I’ve always been a fan of the apricot scrubs from St Ives as they are bursting with fragrance and do the job they are designed to do! So when the body wash version of an old favourite was released I had to try it.
The bottle is generous size for the price you pay; it’s a little more expensive than others on the market but the quality of the product makes up for that. Design wise its effective, with easy to squeeze see through plastic that allows you to see where you are, and get every last drop out.
Fragrance wise, it smells as if it’s been crammed packed with punnets of fresh apricots which is amazing for a wake up shower in the mornings. All the little kernels that remain inside the gel liquid rub your skin as you exfoliate away; I squeeze it onto a shower pouffe then create a soapy lather with the apricot kernels clinging onto the pouffe happily.
It’s not too harsh that it leaves your skin red or itchy, but it’s strong enough to give you a glow, what I call squeaky clean skin. I’ve found that the thick orange gel isn’t drying either, and it actually helps to keep my skin soft. I do tend to wander when it comes to shower gels and body scrubs/washes so I’m not loyal to the brand but I do know that if I need that bit of a pickup then St Ives is the best place to start, or if it’s on offer at the local supermarket it makes its way into the trolley.
This is my go to body wash. It smells lovely and the exfoliation makes you feel all sparkly and new!
I have been using this body wash for years, I love trialling other ones in between but I always come back to this. It smells delicious and I love the light exfoliation, leaves you feeling really clean and refreshed.
Tips: It smells good enough to eat, but don't!
