I'm really not fussy when it comes to shampoo. I have two things that I need- for it to lather and clean my hair and for it to smell nice. This shampoo does both of those.
This is super cheap and easily accessible at the supermarket. It comes in an attractive pink bottle and is clearly branded from Sunsilk.
It smells quite sweet and sort of fresh. I find it does a good job of making my hair feel clean, although it does feel slightly drying when I rinse it out. Conditioner fixes that though. I'm currently using it with a different branded conditioner so that could be why I'm not noticing any kind of shine effect from it.
I'm on the fence about re purchasing. I'd like to try out some more expensive products to see if they can help my long, dry hair. If I don't think there's a noticeable difference with more expensive shampoos then I'd probably pick this up again and just use expensive conditioner. If you're after something cheap from the supermarket, then I would say, why not give this a go.
This smelled like raspberries when I opened it for a sniff in the store, I try to do a smell check on when purchasing as I don't want to smell like a man.
This is meant to shine hair but I really haven't noticed any real difference on my hair when I have used just the shampoo and not the conditioner with it.
The shampoo does leave my hair clean and slightly soft. The shampoo itself is a pearlescent white colour that is normal thickness, it pools in hand and doesn't show any individual drops or lines. It lathers easily with a $2 coin size amount in your hand, my hair is a little less than 1/2 down my back so this may be too much if you have short hair.
Price wise it is reasonable for what it does and the smell has me rebuying it ready to go.
