TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray

Love the smell of this, does a nice job but can be a bit sticky in the hair. I use this with my straightner or curlers. I haven't used too many heat protectants so I can't compare to others.

This is a good product I always use when straightening or curling my hair . Sometimes it can leave your hair sticky but majority of the time leaves hair feeling and looking great

I normally went for the vo5 heat protectant spray until I purchased this. I use this before I straighten my hair and it works wonders! It makes my hair so shiny and silk smooth after I’ve straightened it. Also leaves no leftover residue after using which is amazing

I tend to blow dry my hair first then finish it off with my GHD. Occasionally I do the finishing off in the morning after I have slept on it. Sometimes this results in a wavy mess and this is where the TREsemme comes into its own. Because I find it more of a "wet" spray it gives me greater control over straightening out those waves. The fact that it is so cheap means there is always a bottle in my hair cupboard. For the price you pay this product deserves some recognition.

I was drawn to this firstly because of the price - it's very affordable! Secondly, a few of my friends rave about TRESeme products in general, so I wanted to try the brand out for myself.

I blow dry my hair everyday (I rarely use straighteners) and I apply this to my towel dried hair, using my fingers to comb it through after spraying on.

Thanks to the trigger spray, it's very easy to use - it sprays out as a very fine and light mist, which allows for even control of application and consistency.

It has a really fresh and clean scent, which lasts throughout the day.

It leaves my hair feeling nice and soft (not greasy like some sprays can).

One bottle lasts a long time as you really don't need to spray much.

I don't like this on dry hair (before straightening), so I would always apply to damp hair first.

I would purchase this again, but I do think there are better heat sprays out there and I'm going to shop around next time.

I have purchased this twice now. The first time I used it, I would spray it all over my hair, its best to part hair into sections. Then I would start straightening, I was wondering why it was making my hair look dry, until I realised I was suppose to be letting the product dry before styling with hot tools. Duh. So now I wait about 20minutes and the results are okay, I purchased this on special at countdown for only $7 so no complaints. I do wonder though an not just with this heat protectant, how to tell if it is really protecting your hair from heat tools?!

I don't use this product religiously but it definitely does work. However, I don't think it is absolutely necessary if you only use your styler once in while- but this is a must for regular users- it does help with frizz.

it works, smells good and stops my hair from being all frizzy. the bottle has lasted me for ages just now have run out and I must get some more as my hair is long enough again to use my straighteners.

I've been using this heat protectant spray for 5months now and I have to say I have a love hate relationship with this product.

I first of all couldn't get the nozzle to work and I ended up breaking it by accident so now I use a sprayer head off a different bottle.

The smell is pleasant and the product has lasted me for a long time. In the case of protecting my hair I can't say I have I have noticed a different from not using it to using it.

I find it works better on my hair when it's wet and I go to blow dry it rather than using it on dry hair before straightening. It's a cheap product so I suppose that's why I'm not seeing results!

This works pretty well for the price which is pretty competitive - I used it before blow drying/using straighteners and it worked quite well, especially for the ends of the hair
