L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer Review

It's totally my fault for buying this primer even though my skin type is very oily. I would definitely recommend this to my friends with dry skin as it is luminous and HYDRATING but on my skin I looked like a shiny alien that dumped their head in a deep fryer full of oil LOL i agree it can be used as a base but not alone as it makes you look like metallic cellophane.

This was the first ever primer i used. SO i instantly fell in love. i tried some others and came back to this. It's great! works perfectly with my skin. helps leave a smooth complection. helps my foundation last longer. The only down fall is i can only use it a few times a week otherwise i find it clogs my pores and i break out. Just make sure you really wash your face with a beaded face wash to make sure you get it all out :)

Have to say this doesn't always agree with my skin type and I do prefer the MAC strobe cream, in saying this it does have a good amount of sheen to it. Would only use maybe once a week due it clogging up my pores too much...hello breakouts if your not careful.

I have heard some amazing things about this primer so picked it up for a great price from splash store. The packaging is a little bit cheap looking and the lid is a bit leaky, although the rose gold lettering and pump seal add a nice touch.

The scent is a little strange, somewhat sunscreen like (as far as I can tell there is none in this product), mixed with a sort of green tea scent. A little weird but not off-putting and this disappears as soon as the product is absorbed.

The formula is quite runny but blends out really beautifully, soaking into the skin leaving it feeling smooth and hydrated. I find one pump does the entire face very easily. This leaves the skin looking a little shimmery (not sparkly) and a little more perfected. When you apply your foundation as usual over top it leaves your skin looking dewy and fabulous.

I have quite large pores around my cheeks and nose so my preferred primer is something that is geared towards pore filling or blurring (such as Benefit POREfessional) which is not this sort of primer. I do find though that I can layer the two together, applying the POREfessional first (as this dries super quick) and then this primer. I then can have the best of both worlds, luminous skin without crater like pores. I love wearing this with a matte foundation to make the finished affect a little more luminous. I do also find this is great on dry skin days. Would recommend to people who love that dewy finish, or for use in combination with another primer to combat combination skin.

I had heard many great things about this product in the past, and was always looking out for when I could possibly get my hands on it... but let's be completely honest. Seeing as I'm only 18 years old, it's not exactly easy to fork out $38 on what is intended on being a drugstore product. So whilst I was overseas, I noticed this product was selling a lot cheaper over there than it was here, so I grabbed it fast. Not one regret. This primer feels great on my skin, it makes my skin look awake and illuminated and when i apply my foundation over it, it looks pretty good if i say so myself. Definitely liking this product so much, I had to go back and buy another one to bring back home with me.

I love this stuff. I actually use another primer first to fill in my pores and then once that's dry I like to use this before foundation. It gives the skin such a nice glow! my only problem is the price, because I still have to use another primer to get my foundation staying the way I want I find it hard to fork out the nearly 40 dollars for another non essential layer on my face. I would say this is a splurge item for me and I wouldn't wear it everyday only for a special occasion when I want to look extra good.

Gives your face an amazing smooth texture as well as a natural glow underneath your foundation, a little overpriced for the amount you get but still an amazing product nonetheless. Amazing staying power also, makeup is able to last hours.

I was a bit skeptic about this product it was quite pricey for this small bottle but i ended up purchasing it because there was alot of rave about it. One of my best purchases ever. At first when i applied the primer before foundation i did not like it after a couple of trials and error i found mixing it with your foundation and than applying it gives you a beautiful glow. It takes your makeup to a whole new level. I definitely be purchasing this again.

I was not a fan of this primer , i had watched a lot of you tubers rave about this product and i feel quite sad that i can't rave about it as well as it is ment to be a dupe for strobe cream by mac. The consistency of this primer was really thin, you really do need to give it a good shake other wise it comes out sort of separated! I found it was easy to apply and the pump gave me the right amount of product each time. I really like the packaging its pearl white and gold it looks high end. I was so disappointed that this didn't give me that glowing skin that i was hoping for, it looked really nice before i put foundation on then once my foundation was on, i could hardly notice it! i just wanted glowy skin like the you tubers but it just didn't happen not even when i wore just bb cream. I wont be repurchasing.
