I have been keen to try as it has been well reviewed. I first applied it to dry skin and gently massaged it in, rinsing off with warm water. My skin certainly felt clean and tingling and I immediately applied serum. A couple of days later I applied to wet warm skin and this also worked well for me, in fact I like this method better. The fine sugar dissolved and I gently massaged it into my face which when rinsed off left it soft and supple and certainly I knew my skin was well cleansed. I now use this product twice a week at night and certainly feel the benefit after . My skin glows and obviously responds well to this treatment. After about 10 minutes "settling time" I proceed with my skincare regime.

Reviews
First off the packaging is great, looks sleek and fancy.
The fragrance is amazing and almost made me want to eat it!
The scrub I feel definately did what it says, and once warm water is applied it melts and is soft and silky which felt amazing. However once I washed it off I felt like I had a layer of oil on my skin which I did not like at all. It just did not feel clean. Im not sure whether its my skon at 32 weeks pregnant or if my skin is just ment to feel like that after using this. This is why I have only rated it a 3/5.
Tips: Dont need much product, once it melts it goes a long way.
After having tried the other two scrubs in this range, and being gifted several samples of this from a friend, I figured I'd give this scrub a go. The scrub has a subtle cocoa butter scent, I imagined it'd smell more like chocolate, but this is great if you're someone who is sensitive to strong scents. The scrub itself is light brown in colour and has a paste like texture, it isn't very scrubby in texture, it's definitely a very fine exfoliant. I found a very tiny amount went a long way with this, which makes it very economical for the price. I have very sensitive skin, and the scrub was very gentle and didn't irritate any of my breakouts or make my skin worse. However, this isn't really much of a scrub or exfoliator, it's more like a cleanser. The exfoliant in this is so gentle it didn't really do much for me in terms of removing dead skin and exfoliation, whereas the other two scrub's in the range have a much grittier texture and exfoliate better. However, this did deliver on its promise of softening and smoothing my skin, my skin always felt baby soft are using this. I think the product is decent in that sense, but I am someone who wants a product called a scrub to actually scrub my skin, so if you're wanting a gentle product go for this, but if you're wanting an actual scrub I recommend trying the glow version in this range. This was pleasant enough to use, but it didn't wow me, so I'd only use it again as a cleanser, rather than as a facial scrub.
The smells a tad overbearing. I love coffee but this is an extremely bold in ya face wakeup haha. It's great, because it's sugar don't use it IN the shower.
I tried another one of these scrubs but I found this one didn’t seem to exfoliate as well as I had hoped for.
I found with this scrub I could feel more the cocoa butter than the exfoliating in it. It does smells nice and is a dark brown colour. It melts into your skin.
I tried it on my lips but it tastes gross I know you not supposed to eat it but when your scrubbing your lips it’s a bit hard not to sometimes.
My skin felt ok after but was a bit oily I wouldn’t use this one again.
As suggested in the name the L'Oreal Paris Sugar Scrub promises 'nourishing and smoothing' of skin. Initially skeptical of the claim that a sugar scrub could be nourishing I tried - as directed the scrub and was pleasantly surprised. Although this scrub wasn't a 'holy grail' it was certainly a change from the normal sugars/clays which exfoliate coarsely to achieve smooth skin. Rather, the L'Oreal Sugar scrub melts the three types of sugars when mixed with warm water. I definitely noticed a 'nourished' softness in my skin after use because I have dry skin I didn't think an exfoliant type scrub would achieve such results but it did! If you have dry skin and are looking for something that doesn't strip your already dry skin of natural oils but actually nourishes it and smooths it out a bit definitely give this a go.
Tips: Read the instruction on application as it's not your standard directions !
