I love this product but I wouldn't recommend if you have dry skin like me, I have very dry under eyes and I have seen such a hype for this product I thought I'd give it a go, first of all the coverage is so good for the price and i love the formula, but a few minutes after I apply it, it starts too really texturise my skin and look super cakey, I think it's a great affordable concealer but just not for my skin tone, other than that I have nothing bad too say about it! LA Girl HD Pro Concealer
Reviews
I bought this because Shaaanxo raved about it (as I'm sure many of you all have too) and I really like it.
I use it under my eyes as a highlighting concealer (I bought the shade Porcelain for my fair skin). I find that it has great coverage, doesn't crease under the eyes and is long wearing.
It comes in a squeezy tube with a brush applicator on the end. Personally, I prefer doe foot applicators so I don't really like this one. It is easy enough to brush on but if you don't use it regularly and need to squeeze it to get more product out, you can end up with way too much!
Overall, it is an affordable and accessible concealer so I would definitely repurchase. I do find that it can be a bit wasteful but it is great for highlighting my under eyes and I know that many other people use the darker shades for contouring. I will need to try out some of the colour correcting shades too!
Tips: Be careful when squeezing out more product as you can end up with far too much on the brush!
I like this concealer, its pretty good for the price! They have an amazing range of shades which makes it a really good multi use product. my favorite shade is Natural which has a slight peach tone to it so it is perfect for using under my eyes and to highlight my skin. I also like the shade medium bisque for a contour base shade, although it does throw a touch of orange I always follow afterwards with my contour powder which does hide the slight orange warmth. It lasts really well without much creasing,it blends really well and is comfortable to wear. The one thing I loathe about this product is the applicator tip, I do prefer a doe foot applicator as the little brush thingie on the end can get blocked and you squeeze and squeeze and then all of a sudden you are bathing in concealer.
Ran out of my usual concealer and I thought I would give this bad boy a try. Bought for $10 at the pharmacy, which is $15 cheaper than my usual product. The packaging is quite soft, so it is easy to squeeze and get product out. The size is nice and small and easy to carry around. The texture I found quite mousse-like and harder to blend than a creamy concealer. They have a great range to fit many skin types and cover blemishes such as redness, dark circles or use as a highlight.
Tips: Buy a tube a couple shades lighter than your skin tone for the perfect, affordable highlight.
I use this for highlighting the under-eye area. The colour pay off could be lighter for my skin shade, nonetheless, the concealer isn't drying, and doesn't crease. A little bit goes a long way. Packaging isn't the prettiest. Overall I would repurchase again
I was told to try this by a friend and was pleasantly surprised. It comes in a plastic tube with a brush you squeeze it out onto and apply. I apply it with the blush then blend it out with a beauty blender. It comes in plenty of shades and lasts pretty well and you of course can't beat the price. I'll definitely be purchasing again
I recently purchased this online for around $12 in the shade porcelain. In the past I have used higher end concealers, have spent a fortune and struggled to find shades that match however the LA Girl concealer in porcerlain is a prefect match for my fair skin.
The packaging is what you would expect from a product of this price, nothing fancy. It comes in a clear plastic tube with black writing on it. I have found it can be a bit tricky to squeeze the desired amount of the concealer out of the plastic tube however the applicator brush is soft and flexible so makes it easy enough to use.
The formula is rather thick but has a creamy consistency that makes it blendable once on your skin. The concealer works well both over foundation to touch up imprefections or by itself if you are in a hurry. I normally apply this under my eyes, corners of my nose or any spots that need hiding. This concealer provides great coverage and it gives a nice natural finish without looking cakey.
I believe for the price they are excellent concealer they have a great shade selection and are easy enough to use so I will definitely repurchase this again
Tips: The plastic tube makes it easy for product to leak out though the applicator brush if something heavy is placed on top of it, as I discovered when it was in my handbag.
I love this product. It's super cheap and super versatile! I always make sure I have a few of these concealers, in a few different shades, as they can be used a lot of different ways. I have a shade lighter for my under-eye area, green to combat redness, and one that matches my skin colour to help hide spots. You could use this product for pretty much anything, as it's super bendable and has so many shades!
I love the fact the applicator is a brush, it makes it so easy to apply and blend. It also means you don't need to use a brush or sponge with it, which makes it super easy and quick to apply during the day when you're out-and-about.
I have never had a bad experience with this product, and have been purchasing it for a while!
I splurged and bought most shades of these. Some arrived separated and had to be thrown out straight away. However I went on using the rest in my pro kit. They are creamy, high coverage and can be cakey if you add a touch too much. After a few months I ended up replacing them as they started to separate
First try at using a concealer, I found it at the dollar store after reading some good reviews. I picked the orangey shade as it covers purple and red shadows. I got so annoyed at the dumb brush tip that I got a razor and cut it off. Now I can squeeze out a little and not have to negotiate dried brush fibres. It really does cover up the bags under my eyes. Sometimes I notice little squares of what must be reflective bits on my face, about the size of a piece of glitter. If I see them I pick them off. It is pretty thick stuff, as others have mentioned. It works ok for me because I dab a pin head size blob on my finger, squash between 2, and then rub into the shadow under my eyes. Then I cover with BB cream or foundation.
I think you should try this but bear in mind it's probably not the best product out there. There are probably concealers that conceal without bits of glitter and are less cakey. If you like cheapie make up (I DO) then it's worth a go. I've seen it priced from $4.50 to $9.50.
Tips: Don't use much - only just enough
