Every so often (ok, more often than not), when trial products land at BRHQ we can't help but get a little excited.  But I must confess, today's trial product has us a little more excited than usual.  Why?  Because it comes hand in hand with that oh so elusive tagline of being...a Hollywood Secret.

Ok, we all know there are no secrets in LA, but come on, a product used by Madonna, Kate Hudson, Gisele Bundchen, Liv Tyler, Brooke Shields, Tim McGraw, Karolina Kurkova, January Jones, Emily Blunt, Eva Mendes, Eva Longoria, Gucci Westman, Rachel Zoe and dozens more, has to be amazing right?!

So what's all the fuss about?  This all-purpose and all-natural product is based on an ancient Egyptian formula that Cleopatra used to keep her skin radiant and glowing.  It's perfectly safe to use anywhere on your body but luxurious enough to use on your face and for the last twenty years, it's been marketed soley through word of mouth - now that's our kind of recommendation!

Yes, ladies, we're putting Egyptian Magic Skin Cream to the test.  The secret process behind this cream, blends six natural ingredients to create a rich balm which melts into an oil on your skin.  And what's it used for?  Well, how about this as a list of benefits:

  • Dry and sun-damaged skin
  • Rashes
  • Burns
  • Acne scarring
  • Chapped lips
  • Stretch marks
  • Eczema and psoriasis
  • Brittle and damaged hair
  • Bug bites and wound care
  • A night moisturiser
  • Eye cream
  • Makeup primer
  • Shaving balm
  • Hair masque

And the 6 magic ingredients?  Olive Oil, Beeswax, Bee Propolis, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, Honey. Every jar is handmade in Texas without parabens, preservatives or chemicals.

Ok, so we think it sounds pretty fabulous, but of course we need a dedicated trial team of great reviewers to put it through it's paces!  Does this sound like you?

Put your hand up below and tell us why you'd love to put this to the test - which of it's many uses appeal to you the most?  And what are your thoughts on traditional beauty products?  Do you tend to go the modern way, favouring products that have been produced using modern technology and science, or do you prefer centuries old recipes?

To be honest I like a mixture of both! I feel like there are some amazing new concepts and products on the scene, like BB creams and lip pencils, which work so well for me. But then again some things like a traditional blush or pencil eyeliner just do the trick reliably. :) This product sounds amaaaaazing! I'd love to try it as a hair masque and face primer, and also lip balm. :)

Do like modern but there are some traditional ones you just can't beat! And I love love love products that have more than one use that actually work! So would love to try this out.

Ohhh I love the sounds of this! The ingredients look amazing, and classic too. Usually I like modern products but there are certain classic ingredients for your skin that you just can't go past.

Magic skin cream? Sounds like everyone needs this! I've heard of this somewhere but then forgotten about it - would be intrigued to try it out! I've got more into using honey products on my face, Manuka honey is a naturally antibacterial substance - its amazing!

WOAH! Thats all I can say, 6 ingredients? Thats incredible! Im going to do a bit of googling and see what this is like :)

I do prefer more traditional products as I find some of the more modern products claim to be too good to be true. However I think you can't past some of the more scientific research that has been put into the modern products - it's a hard call to pick just one.

This sounds like a great all purpose cream and I feel like I've been living under a rock as I've never heard of it. The night moisturizing properties sound best to me and I really like the ingredient list and the fact every jar is hand made.

Woah that looks amazing! I'm usually a little skeptical about traditional products especially if they seem a little too good to be true but I'd love to see what this does for my acne scars!

Wow this sounds like heaven in a jar ;-) I'd definitely be interested to see wether it could help me with my wide stretchmarks and red pigmentation that I have on my face and chest. Can't wait to see the results on this prrduct.

I'm a bit of both I don't completely buy traditional products but if there is something that works I will keep on repurchasing but I'm open to new products that are released :)

I normally prefer modern products, but I also do like traditional products as well because they tend to be more natural and if our grandmothers (or ancient Egyptians) loved it - then it must be good. I would love to try this out on my stretch marks.

I really need the option for both lol.

I like new age and the tried and true old methods :) Sounds like an amazing balm!!

I'm defiantly a modern girl. I love trying new and improved beauty products and modernized tools. I do love a good multitasking product. What girl doesn't right? These make life a million limes better. I would love to give this a try as I see there are so many ways to use this cream and I love the sound of the benefits it has.

I love natural products and this fits the bill, this would be nice to try on my acne scars and super dry hair.

Acne scarring, eye cream and chapped lips and night moisturiser are concerns for me! And I do prefer traditional and natural products. I found hat they are better for my sensitive skin and don't initiate it, especially since it's so acne prone. Would LOVE to try this! :)

How amazing does this sound! Sounds like an amazing all rounder. Lately I have been finding so many health supplements with royal jelly in it and now this. I love old beauty related things from supplements and health. This sounds so good something I would love to try especially since it helps with dry skin ooo and my manky hair. I love bee products and think they have so many benefits
