Are You Crying Over Hair Drying?

This giveaway has now closed and has been drawn.  The winner is EliseRose and has been notified to their BR inbox.

How long do you spend drying your hair?  A quick round up of the Beauty Crew puts us at an average of 15 minutes per blow dry, 4 times a week.  That's 52 hours a year!

52 hours a year with your arms and hands in awkward positions above and around your noggin.  I mean, I'm all for a good bicep workout, but, hair drying?  It's just so...meh.

THE NEW DRYER ON THE MARKET.

The latest addition to the Remington PROLUXE family is the PROLUXE Digital Hair Dryer - Remington's lightest, quietest salon hair dryer that boasts a powerful motor for professional results.

Do you resent the time you spend drying your hair?  This baby has 2300 watts of power for fast drying with 100/km airspeed.

If frizz is your problem, it has an even, steady heat distribution with a natural source of ions for frizz reduction. The ionic conditioning technology gives you frizz-free, shiny results.

WHY IS A DIGITAL MOTOR BETTER THAN STANDARD MOTORS?

If you've not used a dryer with a digital motor before, you won't know what has hit you (or your hair!).

A hair dryer powered by a standard motor doesn't have much in the way of control; you can turn them up, turn them down, make them hot, make them cold.  A digital motor on the other hand allows for more sophisticated control over speed and temperature. They're also super lightweight, great for people with joint or mobility issues in their hands and arms.

Yes a digital dryer will tend to be a little more expensive but the great news is you're going to get a much longer life span out of your dryer!   A really standard hair dryer motor will begin to wear within 400 hours, a slightly more upmarket dryer and you might squeeze 800 hours of drying out of it.

But a digital motor?  They can power your hair dryer for up to 10,000 hours!

Would really love to try this new dryer. I always love the way my hair looks and shines after a salon blow dry but can never replicate that even closely - Maybe something to do with my combination of very elderly arms and pretty ancient cheap dryer.?

1st April, 2020

Intrigued about the digital motor and how it compares to the conventional one. I air dry for the most part, because my hair is too thick and long for me to attempt to use a hairdryer properly. Plus if anything, it makes my hair frizzier. Would love to try (especially the diffuser because my hairdryer accessories are long gone) and see if anything can help me tame my mahana.

I like a hair dryer that has a good motor and can handle being on for a long time. I have very long and thick hair, and it takes AGES to dry it straight from the shower, I usually give up half way through! Usually when choosing a hair dryer I just buy what I can afford

1st April, 2020

I like hairdryers that are light-weight, quiet, and have a cooling function. The cooling function is broken on my hairdryer and I miss it.

1st April, 2020

OM Gosh! Wonderful, with everything I need in a hair dryer! Lightweight - I have Fibromyalgia and my arms ache from holding anything heavy for too long, my hair is fairly short but takes AGES to dry with my current old dryer which is about 8 years old!! The speed/air control would be fantastic as my hair is coloured blonde and is starting to break from my hair dryer which is drying it out :( Factors that influence my buying is definitely price first (one wage family), reviews and technology :)

1st April, 2020

I wash my hair in the mornings and am sure my hair dryer is over 10 years old. I have 3 daughters and 1 hair dryer so can be interesting when we all want to use it. Definitely time for a new one

1st April, 2020

Two biggest pain points for me are the noise and the weight. Noise is the WORST - I'm an early bird for exercise and sometimes I need to wash my hair before I start my day, but my hairdryer wakes up the whole darn neighbourhood! Then the weight, well, I've already done my mornings exercise so these arms of mine are tired, they don't need to now hole a 2-ton-brick above my head! Would love to test this one out. See how many flatmates and neighbours I can wake up in the morning... ;)

1st April, 2020

Omg yessss! My hairdryer has just about given up the ghost, but honestly I hardly even bother now. I've resigned to having terrible frizzy, poofy, uncontrollable wavy hair because blow drying it is just too hard for me and ineffective anyway - I have *never* been able to get it to look decent without straightening it after, which is terrible for my poor blonde locks! I don't even know where to start to buy a decent hairdryer and its not something I can justify the cost of, so would so love to win this!

1st April, 2020

My hair is so thick, wavy and frizzy, to dry it properly can take around half an hour, which requires serious arm muscles that I don't have! This sounds like a great hairdryer that could for sure solve my problem>

1st April, 2020

Because it takes some time to blow wave my hair I like a light weight one and a more quiet one would be great

1st April, 2020

This hair dryer looks nice and sounds like it works even better. I tend to use my hair dryer in the colder months. Price is always an important factor whenever I consider purchasing anything. Also I like to look for reviews to see if it's worth spending the dosh. Needless to say look forward to reading the reviews for this!

1st April, 2020

My hair is super thick so blow drying my hair normally takes forever and then my hair tends to be frizzy afterwards. I’d lobe to try this one as the technology sounds amazing!

1st April, 2020

This hair dryer sounds amazing, my current hair dryer is very loud and heavy so would be amazing to try the opposite.

1st April, 2020

That would be perfect for my daughter and her flatmates. Thanks.

1st April, 2020

I am one of those people who majority of the time doesn't dry my hair because it takes too long, hello ponytail/bun!!! It would be awesome to bring more style to my hairdo!!!
