Nothing special, will not repurchase

I use this milky cleanser to remove my makeup at the end of the day, usually in the shower. I massage it onto my damp skin, inclusive eye area and lashes and use a warm wet cloth to remove it. It leaves my skin soft and hydrated, so definitely good for dry skin types, doesn’t irritate me a bit. I go in with a foaming cleanser afterwards as I don’t want any residue on my skin to clog pores but the second cleanser doesn’t go on the eye area and this method works great for my skin. I’d always remove milky and balm cleansers with a foaming type, but I’m just scared of pimples and clogged pores as my skin tends to break out from heavier products, but if you have dry skin types you might get away with this cleanser only. I will not repurchase simply because I like changing up my cleansers and I feel that balm cleansers work better to remove my makeup, but this was inexpensive and a great change, I like rose scented products, so I enjoyed the light scent as well, however I feel I used it up too fast, needed a lot to remove heavier eye makeup too.

Tips: Great for dry skin and light makeup and inexpensive, so buy only if this sounds like you. Not recommended for heavier makeup or oilier skin types.

Rosie review??

I’m a huge fan of garnier and their cleansers. There’s something for everyone wether you like gels or milks, micellars or creams. I am usually hesitant to try anything rose scented but this was advertised for sensitive skin and was so cheap I gave it a whirl.

The scent - I put up with but would only put up with again if it was effective. I’m just not a huge fan of strong rose or lavander scents for example so I was hesitant. The scent was ok not too overpowering but definitely rose scented. So was it effective??

Not really! Yes for daily use - light makeup, sweat and sunscreen buildup. But no for heavier makeup application. This struggled even with a double cleanse.. it left a lot behind. So left a lot to be desired.

The only plus was that it was gentle for sensitive skin and it was. But if it’s not performing it’s not really worth it.

I was using a lot, washing twice and not really finding the best results so was using it at a fast pace.

I wouldn’t use again personally, if you want something that’s a similar price and just as effective I would recommend the garnier micellar gel.

not good for combination or oily skin

if you have very oily or acne prone skin i dont reccommend this one ,but its good to be used as a surface makeup remover , but you definitely need a good face wash afterwards.

Garnier Natural Cleansing Milk

Although the product says it’s natural... i’m not sure why i’m not too attached to this cleanser. I really enjoy natural products, but It just didn’t have that feel i look for in a cleanser.

It’s a really thick and creamy cleanser with a rose scent. It’s very moisturising due to it’s creamy consistency. For my first line cleanser, i prefer something that i can feel and see is removing my make up, So I think i prefer to use this in the evening as an in-shower facial wash as a double cleanser to give me a little hydration after my first cleanse. For my morning wake-up call, i prefer something a little less heavy...

Although it wasn’t my cup of tea, for those who loves a thick creamy moisturiser-like cleanser that smells of rose, this one could be for you.

Leaves my skin smooth and hydrated

Cleansing milks have always been hit and miss for me, mostly because they are too thin or the fragrance is too strong. This is good for a general daily cleanser in the shower to start the day, but it's only good for removing light mineral makeup and not liquid foundation or eye makeup. My skin always feels soft and hydrated after using it, but I'd recommend something heavier for makeup removal.

Tips: If you want to remove heavier makeup, a cleansing cloth or flannel might be worth a go.

Not good for removing makeup

I love rose-scented products so I was excited to try this product especially as most of the ingredients are natural. However, a little disappointed as my cleanser needs to be able to remove my makeup- which it didn't really do. The scent and the milky feel is lovely however and I love how it leaves a light creamy residue on the skin.

Tips: Really affordable and great for dry skin, I would recommend this if you are not looking for a makeup removing properties

Roses for the win!

I love rose water. I use it as a toner and love that it doesn't leave my dry skin tight. So when I spotted this cleanser recently, I grabbed it - and am glad I did. It's gentle on my skin and removes makeup with ease. Great price point too! Easy to use flip-top lid means no waste and the consistency is good, not too thick or too runny. Love how it leaves my skin feeling - clean but moisturised and not tight or dry. It's a winner!

Tips: Wet face thoroughly first and remove with wet wash cloth.

just delightful

Pink draws me in. When I was younger I was the typical “ew pink!” but as I’ve gotten older I have a new appreciation for all colors of the rainbow, and pink is one of my favorites. So when I saw this on the supermarket shelf, my eyes went wide and my cheeks hollowed out and my mouth formed an ‘o’. I had to have it, and when Garnier were 50% off at New World, I made dreams into reality.

The packaging is similar to that of their Micellar water, with its rounded edges and flip top lid. I like that they’ve kept some of their newer skincare in similar bottles, I imagine if they were all lined up it would be very pleasing to the eye. The color, as I said, drew me in straight away. While the bottle isn’t too pink the label has a gorgeous bright pink rose on it, and as the label is see through it all kinda blends together to be more appealing. The cleanser itself is white and gives the pink bottle a bit more of a kick, as every color over white just looks better and brighter!

The cleanser smells absolutely amazing. It’s definitely rose scented but it’s also quite creamy and sweet and not at all in your face, unless it’s on your face. I don’t believe for one second that it’s reminiscent of nana’s house. I think it takes the rose scent and elevates it to a whole new level. The cleanser itself is white and it’s thankfully not a milky consistency! On the scale of 1 being liquid and 5 being thick like jelly, this is probably a 2 ½ verging on 3. Its solid enough to hold on your hand but it will slide if you tip your hand the wrong way.

My skin is hormonal, temperamental, dry… honestly I don’t know what it’s doing. I know that my skin doesn’t like cleansers that dry it out. I dry my face after a shower and if my skin is pulled taut by forces unknown I feel like ripping it off. This product sort of eases that pain. I use it in the shower, and by the time I’m out, dressed and ready to put my moisturizers on, my face doesn’t feel as tight. This product seems to leave an oily film on my skin, and I am here for it. It’s like it adds a barrier to stop my skin from drying out completely, and I’m grateful for it. It’s not as good as my Korean cleanser, but it’s up there and I know if I need something in a hurry I can replace the Korean one with this.

I’ve been using this stuff since Mother’s Day. I like it. My skin is a little pimply at the moment but I’m flagging that down to the impending week of sharks. For $10 a bottle this stuff is affordable and I like how it makes my skin feel enough to want to buy it again. It smells great, it feels great. It’s just, well, great!
