I have 3 different color magnetic polishes in this brand and all are fantastic they come in different magnet shapes. The polish not only looks great but last long without chipping or warring off.

I've eyed this up for awhile. I have the cheaper versions, but always wanted to know how the Sally Hansen one would go. When I saw it on Clearance at Farmers (from $22.95 down to $5!) I decided to try it out.
The packaging is great. At first it seems like a fairly standard nail polish bottle. I thought the lid would be quite awkward because it's large. But it's actually a cover that pulls off, housing the magnet. The top part has a little guide to place on your cuticle to balance while you use the magnet. This is genius!! I bumped my freshly painted nails plenty of times with the cheap version.
The brush is a good size and the formula is really nice, goes on well.
I did find the magnet didn't really leave the design it was meant to on my nails. It looks a little like messy waves, I wanted it to look a bit more consistent. (Wondering if the magnet was a bit strong, might try the magnet from the cheap ones and see how it goes.)
Overall - I love the colour, the consistency and think the guide for the magnet is really clever! So would purchase again at the price I did - but not sure if I would be keen to pay full price.
I got this nail polish in polar purple from the vault.
It comes in a nice sized bottle and has a nice brush that gives a nice even finish. It comes with a cap that sits on top of the brush lid that has the magnet on it which is very handy as you just pop it back on when finished so you don't lose it. It also has a guide so you know how far away to hold the magnet from your nail.
The nail polish itself is a nice formula and goes on smoothly. The only issue I had with it was making the patterns look similar to the pattern that's on the bottle. The pattern came out not how I had hoped, however it still looked pretty cool and had a 3D type effect.
It dries really quickly and lasts on your nails a long time without chipping.
Its great for a quick trendy manicure without paying to go to a salon. Overall I really like it, and will just keep practicing and trying different techniques to get the pattern right.
Thanks so much Beauty Review! :)
I love the Sally Hansen product range but this is my least liked formula/type. I was initially intrigued by how this product works with a magnet, like magic it seemed with the end result.
I found after trying multiple times to "perfect my technique" I couldn't seem to get that flawless finish. It annoyed me. I had 7 colours in this range and gave them up as it was easier for me to use plain nail polish or nail stickers and get a better result.
Tips: Patience required, steady even layers of applied polish but you will need to work fast with the magnet before your polish dries. Possibly get a better result by painstakingly doing it nail by nail.
