L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo Review

This is an awesome shampoo. Definately made a huge difference and gave me thicker locks! I love the smell and the packaging is so vibrant and pretty. The shampoo felt lovely to use and it was a great consistency. Recommend to anyone with fine, limp hair :-)

I got this on a whim when I went to purchase the Dream Lengths Shampoo and noticed Countdown are not selling it yet (come on countdown!) I have fine, limp hair and the promise of extra body pulled me in and made me buy it! It has the conventional powder fresh kind of smell and is thick and creamy. Leaves hair clean and rinses out easily without residue. I used it along with the Fibralogy Conditioner and was impressed with the volume and texture my hair has, no limpyness today thank you!!! I would buy this again, especially if my hair is being extra oily and limp and I don't want to have to wash it every 2 days.

After first wash, my hair is softer, smoother and voluminous. The sense is minimal. I prefer to have a perfumed smell shampoo but it doesnt matter, as long as it does the job. However, my husband noticed the smell when i walked out of the bathroom and he likes it. Overall im very happy with the result. I'm gonna switch from my Tresmere shampoo/conditioner to this amazing stuffs. Great products.

I was selected to review this as part of the trial team on here. This shampoo and conditioner was something I was super keen to try as last year I lost about half of my head of hair due to medication issues - so I was keen to try something that promised to help thicken my mane.

If I spotted this in a shelf - my eyes would definitely gravitate towards it based solely on the packaging. I love the vibrant colours and design - it is super eye catching and I would definitely be intrigued as to what it was.

The bottle is your standard shampoo bottle, so nothing special there. In terms of the scent of this - oh my gosh, it is heavenly! I actually wish I could find a body wash that smelled like this. It is that perfect mixture of sweet muskiness that (when used with its accompanying shampoo), lingers in your hair.

This didn't dry my hair out or make it feel coarse. For some reason I half expected it to - I don't know why. It also left my hair feeling shiny and clean. This also has definitely helped build the thickness of my hair.

My hair is naturally thick (although nowhere near as thick as it was prior to last year), and after I would say about 4 washes, I noticed that the bulk of hair felt fatter than usual when I tied it into a ponytail.

I don't know how this works - aside from what L'oreal say on their website about it, but it doesn't feel like it is damaging my hair at all.

This will be interesting to keep using - I am curious as to how thick it will make my hair after prolonged use (will it stop working? Or will my hair need to go on a diet?). But at this stage I am very, very happy with it and definitely recommend it if you are looking for a product to help make your hair thicker.

I have bleached hair, which can often lead to problems finding a shampoo that will add volume to my fine hair with out over drying it. This shampoo does a great job, my hair doesn't go fluffy or brittle but still adds some volumes, although I'm suspicious as to whether my hair is actually "thicker" or not.

The smell is gorgeous and has a really thick, intense lather, but isn't hard to wash out. Even better when pair with the conditioner.

I have never tried anything from the Elvive range, just because I assumed they would not live up to my expectations. I was so wrong! This Fibralogy Shampoo is amazing. Completely in love. I have oily, thin hair, and I try to only wash it every few days if I can, with dry shampoo to help in between. This shampoo not only lathered up so well, it really did give me extra volume after blow drying. The roots were lifted and I felt like my hair looked like it had more body. My hair felt light and not weighed down at all. Some shampoos make my hair look oily and greasy by the end of the day/after sleeping on it - this still looked great. Ir wasn't overly drying either. I would love if it had a bit of a nicer/more luxurious smell (I think it deserves to smell even better), and perhaps a bit more shine factor too. So pleased with this shampoo and will continue to use and most likely repurchase the entire range.

Firstly thankyou very much for letting me review this product! I got such a suprise opening my mail! :) the first thing I noticed about the shampoo and conditioner was the smell. It smells amazing! And the smell stays in your hair for ages after too. The shampoo is creamy and smooth, and feels nice to apply. It really feels like you are giving your hair a good, deep clean. I have very fine hair and the shampoo and conditioner claims to make it thicker so I am excited to see what happens after using it a few more times! The conditioner is great. Nothing too special about it except it does not make my hair feel heavy like some conditioners do. After I dried my hair it is so soft and shiny! I normally use the colour treatment shampoo by L'Oréal but this one has honestly got me wanting more! I think these will be my new favourite from now on!

Was a bit skeptical about whether this shampoo would do what it said. But my hair was noticeably thicker and shinier than before-my friends even commented on it. My hair feels soft and healthy. And the shampoo smells like watermelons too. My hair smells amazing and just looks so silky. The only problem I found was at the end of the day my hair wasn't as thick as it felt in the morning but that might be because of humidity. Would definitely recommend this shampoo to my friends. My hair feels amazing!!

Being naturally blonde, i have very fine hair. I have been looking for a product that gives me a bit more volume. This does that for me, and let me tell you i was shocked that it actually worked. I have tried so many products and they have all failed. This gives me volume at the very root of my hair while still leaving my hair clean, silky and shiny. I like that its very easy to use (you just use it like a normal shampoo) and that its available at the supermarket.
