L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo Review

I didn't actually expect it to strengthen my hair, but actually it has made a difference! My hair used to be very thin and brittle from lots of bleaching, but now even though the ends are quite light, each strand feels strong and heavy and healthy! In terms of cleaning, it doesn't leave my hair feeling completely squeaky clean. I always wash my hair every 2 days, but this is one of the few products where I absolutely feel the NEED to wash my hair every 2 days. The smell is generic and pleasant, and the gel-ish liquid is quite runny, and clear. Overall, considering the price, I would definitely repurchase.

This shampoo has been amazing, I've found my hair much softer and thicker and glossy since using it, can't ask for much more than that! Definitely gives the more expensive 'salon only' shampoo's a run for their money in my opinion. The only downside for me was the smell! It is an over-powering strong musk scent that I found hard to breathe in! It didn't seem like a 'fresh', 'light' fragrance, it seemed like an odd choice of fragrance for a shampoo (to me!).

I really like this shampoo, coming from someone who barely ever swaps from my usual. The shampoo smells nice and comes out of the bottle easily. It lathers nicely and really does feel like I have really clean hair afterwards. After a few washes I did notice that my hair was looking thicker- but I think you would have to continually use it to get this effect. My hair also didn't need constant washing with this shampoo, and lasted a couple of days between washes ☺️

I have fine curly hair. I was so happy to be able to trial this shampoo out because I think my hair really needs it!

I have been using it the whole time since receiving the product. I wash my hair with shampoo every second day. First impression was that it smells nice! I thought that at least if it didn't work my hair would smell nice.

Since actually washing my hair with the shampoo I feel like not as much haor comes out in the shower so that's definitely a positive for me. I cant say exactly whether it has thickened my hair but I'm definitely happy to use this shampoo. The price is great, and I barely need to use much.

I have fine hair, and I am very fussy on the shampoo and conditioner I will use on my hair. This product is loverly it leaves my hair silky and shinny it does not leave it dry at all or to heavy, o feels clean and I can go for two days before I need to wash it, which I like. I don't think my hair feels any thicker though . But that's does not worry me too much clean shinny well behaved hair that I get from this shampoo is great. I will use this shampoo and conditioner again and it smells good .

To just put it out there, I love this shampoo, and will definitely be repurchasing once I'm out. It made my hair much smoother and shinier and I actually noticed after each wash ,y hair actually had a bit of volume to it, even after just air drying (which is a big deal for me cause my hair is so fine and limp, its a constant battle for volume!). I havent noticed any thickening of my fine hair, but I'm holding out hope that it is yet top happen as I have been trying to decrease how often I wash my hair, so I went from washing it everyday to only once every two or often three days. So I think this could have effected the results as it would take longer to see any real change. So fingers crossed within the next two months or so I see some change! other than that, I totally love this product, my hair stays clean for a lot longer and it feels much softer and healthier.

The love the colour of this bottle. Easy to hold, sits on the shelf nicely (either way up), cap is firm but not hard to open.

Unusually, there weren't any instructions on the bottle or manufactures recommendations on how best to use.

I used about an old 20c size of the shampoo and washed by hair twice. Some days I found I had to apply a little bit more to obtain the foaming which I use to gauge that my hair is clean.

The shampoo, was quiet thick in texture, off white with a pleasant non over powering smell.

I have very thin, coloured, that grows very slow and I wear up in a pony tail every day, so I didnt see any noticeable results in the first month of use from the shampoo.

I really enjoyed using this product and its partnering conditioner, and am going to continue to use this product to see if continued use over 2/3 months will see thicker hair results, and give my hair volume.

Found product lovely to use, didn't have to use as often as other shampoo, left hair feeling lovely.

When I opened up the package from beauty review the first thing I noticed was the impressive packaging of this product, the colours are attractive and different to the average shampoo or conditioner. After opening the product I found it to be the most amazing smelling shampoo, even my mum (who is incredibly fussy about shampoo scents being too overpowering or fake) said that it smelt incredible. When washing my hair the shampoos scent never seems to stick, however with thing shampoo it did BONUS! . Even after the first wash my hair thicker but I don't think the hair itself is. My hair can get quite greasy and some products I use can irritate my already sensitive scalp, however after using this product for 2 weeks I haven't had any problems. I would recommend friends with similar hair to mine to buy this product :)

I bought this shampoo as it promised to give your hair a thicker appearance and that's exactly what it does. In the typical streamlined packaging of the L'Oreal hair range, the bottle is a bright and vivid turquoise colour. The shampoo itself is white and of medium consistency. It lathers really well and is quite concentrated. I don't know how it works, but it does make my hair appear fuller. Another advantage is that in the past I have been put off using the standard volumising shampoos as they were quite drying, this stuff however, is not. While its not particularly moisturising, it's not drying either, so that's another 'tick' in its favour. I find it so body building, that I have to use product in my fine hair otherwise it gets too flyaway.
