L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo Review

Tried my hardest to get chosen to review this from beauty review but didn't get picked so went out and brought shampoo and conditioner anyway :)

First impressions are great, the packaging is so cool, the colours are great and I love how shampoo opens at the top and conditioner opens at bottom so you don't get confused.

The smell is really lovely, and not too strong, I find that I can still get scents of it in my hair when I got to get in the shower the next day.

The consistency of the shampoo is great, its very thick and you only need about a 10c size amount in your hair. The texture is so good and thick it feels like salon quality shampoo.

In terms of thickness I have only had results after blowdrying, otherwise I feel it is just as fine as normal. However I will continue using because of all other qualities and how smooth it makes my hair.

I received this product a few weeks ago and when I opened the package I was super excited, I love the bottles they are really sleek and eye catching colours. From the first use I was surprised it actually did what it said, wash after wash my hair has felt thicker and fuller. My hair has been easier to tame and less frizz. I have had to wash my hair everyday with this as I found it get a bit greasy otherwise. All in all I will continue to buy this product in the future.

I just gave a similar review for the matching conditioner but here goes: I completely understand why this product has so many amazing reviews. After seeing such positive feedback, I went out and bought myself the Elvive Fibralogy matching shampoo and conditioner. I'm not disappointed. This shampoo not only has a delightful scent but also makes my hair look shiny and feel smooth! I haven't noticed a visible thickening of my hair but I have experienced slightly more volume (than my previous flat, lifeless p, straight hair). I think more prolonged use will have better effects. The bottle is of course, a lovely shade of blue and red/pink and it squeezes out in small, controlled amounts :) I would definitely buy this, even if not for the purpose of thickening but just for overall loveliness.

I have very fine hair that requires volume but cannot handle any 'heavy' products. This shampoo seems to do the trick in creating volume without heaviness. The smell is soft and pleasant. The product foams up really nicely and the consistency is just right - not too thick but not too runny either. My hair felt more manageable and looked fuller. The verdict is still out on whether it will really make each hair strand thicker in the long run, but I'm happy to use this, because I'm impressed with the immediate result. The packaging is nice and modern and the price and availability is excellent for what is on offer here.

I had been on the mane n tail bandwagon for a few months and was happy enough to think I wouldn't buy supermarket shampoo again. When I was offered to review this shampoo I decided to jump at it as my hair is very thin and I would love to thicken it. My hair type is curly and damaged and although longer than my collarbones if i tie it in a bun, the bun is the size of a ping pong ball. First of all I really love these bottles. The colour really stands out and livens up my bathroom. The consistency is very nice and thick and doesn't tangle or knot my hair when I use this. I noticed if I let my hair dry naturally it was quite frizzy but if I blow-dried my hair It was nice and soft and pretty. I have noticed a slight thickness in my hair but its definitely not a major difference. I have used this about 10 times now so with continued use I am sure it will only get better. So far I will continue to use this instead of going back to what I was using.

This shampoo definitely thickens your hair!! I found it to be a little too rough and hard to tangle tease through. But maybe I needed to use more conditioner. The best thing about this range is it actually smells like the salon loreal range.

The first thing that jumps out is the beautiful colour of the packaging, it looked so stylish and sophisticated when I first saw it, it took me a while to actually test it :P when you do eventually hop in the shower and open the lid, a fruity, yet classy scent will greet you (it smells really good!). Depending on how oily your hair is, you may need one or two washes; if you do opt for the second wash, it lathers up extremely well and makes your hair feel very clean. While washing the shampoo out, my hair felt as if it had a bit more volume to it and that made me very exited! During the day my hair also feels a lot lighter and softer. My hair both looks and feels a lot more healthy and full of volume which could mean I end up sticking with this product! I would definitely end up recommending this to a friend, especially if she feels like she has issues with hair that is flat and lacks volume.

I like this shampoo - the fragrance pleasant and not overpowering. It is quite concentrated - so I just used a very small amount (if you have longer hair of course you would need more) - will be economical to use. I was a bit doubtful whether it makes my hair fuller - but trialed it using it several times then using another shampoo, and I have decided it probably actually DOES make my hair feel thicker and fuller!

Its a perfect opportunity to trial hair products! It's hot, humid and windy on Andros and for my fine short hair shampoo choice is an important issue. Trialling ELIVE fibrology products is an absolute blessing! The shampoo and conditioner work perfectly for these conditions. I'm using an outside shower - it's coolish though it's bliss. The water is soft and you only need to use a little, it isn't too frothy and rinses well and the conditioner isn't too thick and it's easy to rinse too. My hair dries quickly in this warm wind and a quick blast with the dryer is all the styling I can do- hair product goes sticky in the humidity. So my verdict here is that this shampoo and conditioner are working really well for me in this climate and I'm perfectly sure that it will in Auckland conditions. To be honest, this trial couldn't have come at a better time! ELIVE fibrology shampoo and conditioner is a must in this humid environment and I highly recommend them - have already!

Nice and easy to hold and dispense. It has a nice consistency that holds until you apply it. It has a nice scent that is not overpowering. Hair feels soft and silky afterwards and after several washes could really see my hair was not as weighed down and my collegues commented on how they thought my hair was looking great. They have both purchased the set and are also loving it! While it does look great initially, it's a little flat the next day, but perhaps that's just my hair in general. I am trying to break the habbit of washing everyday! All in all, I'm really happy, and even with coloured hair and bright foils, this product has not stripped it away and I have been using it for around three weeks. The shampoo lathers up very well and you don;t need to use a lot, making it value for money.
