L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo Review

The first thing I noticed with this shampoo is the stunning colour of the bottle, it looks great and makes a pretty edition to my shower collection, my only concern with the packaging is that the lids seem to fill with water so you need to be careful when transferring between showers or into your overnight bag, other than that you get a great amount of product for a very competitive price. The next thing that struck me about the product was it's smell which was much too strong and perfume smelling for me, I don't like my shampoo competing with my perfume and this very much did. I would be more inclined to use it again if the smell was more subtle. The shampoo itself is a nice consistency and not a lot is needed to get a great foamy lather. It cleaned my hair really well allowing me to maintain my 3 day wash cycle. I tried using this shampoo a couple of different ways - one wash then condition, two washes then condition, and the reverse technique condition then wash and they all left my hair feeling great but I don't think there was much benefit to a double wash which made my hair feel a bit stripped. I have fine straight hair but a lot of it and it did feel as though I have more volume the first day which is a huge plus as my hair is normally weighed down by its length (just skimming my lower back) however I don't think it retained this thickness which was my hope and I didn't notice increased thickness with every wash. I would still purchase the product for the look and feel it gave my hair straight after washing but perhaps it would be better for someone who washes every day or every second day.

The packaging for this set is very appealing to the eye, the colour combo looks great together.

As for the shampoo, I found it had a slightly musky smell to it, it was quite nice but not strong, It lathered nicely but I found after rinsing it out it left my hair feeling very dry and stripped of moisture. I used this every 2nd - 3rd day and had the same result.

I personally wouldn't repurchase as I don't feel this product is right for my hair.

I have fine blonde hair and due to some bleaching it feels thin, damaged and easily broken so I had huge hopes in regards to ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo. I have been using it every day. I like its gentle aroma, it was very pleasant to use. Unfortunately I have not noticed any significant difference in thickness of my hair. It could be because my hair has always been on the fine side. Nevertheless I enjoyed being a part of trial team.

After my trial I found my hair to be a little more thicker but not drastically, although enough that I was pleased with the results! Would recommend as it is cheap and works!

I love the pink and aqua colour design of the shampoo bottle - it got my attention first off. The shampoo smells lovely and it feels lovely too being lathered up. It has a soft scent. My hair doesn't look or feel any thicker, but it DOES look shiny and feel super soft and smooth. I've got mid-length ringlets and it's no easy to get them looking shiny. A really lovely shampoo that I will use again, but does it do what it says it will? Not for me. Very good value for money though, especially when purchased on special.

My hair is super fine with basically no volume. I struggle to give my hair that extra 'lift' that every girl wants! It is considered mid length to long and very straight. This shampoo claimed to make my hair thicker after each wash. Because of my hair type I have to wash my hair everyday otherwise it goes super greasy. That is why I used this shampoo everyday since I received it in the mail. It gave my hair a little lift straight after I styled it but as the day went on my hair went back to its usual flat ways. It did clean my hair and did not leave any residues. It has a pleasant (not overpowering) raspberry-ish scent. It made my hair a little hard to manage. For me it only semi-did what it claimed to do so it is not something I would keep using or repurchase at this stage. Half way there product for me :)

Haven't noticed a great difference in the thickness of my hair. A little more fluffier if anything. It has flared dandruff up a bit. It smells and feels great. I would still recommend to friends as may just be me having a reaction. I loved the colourful bottle.

I used this shampoo (and matching conditioner) solidly for three weeks. I even threw in the serum for good measure.

I love the colour of the packaging. The vibrant green and pink really stand out for me. But let's face it, you don't choose a shampoo based on the colour of the bottle do you?

The range has a really 'clean' smell to it, so I know my hair will at least smell good! It also feels very clean.

But as for promises of thicker hair, well, my hair is pretty darn fine, so if anyone would notice it, I would. And to be fair, my hair is still fine and flyaway. There doesn't appear to be any extra thickness or volume. And only using the serum for styling, I didn't get any volume staying power either.

This is a really nice shampoo but I wouldn't pay the extra hoping for thicker, tumbling tresses any time soon.

Im not 100% convinced that these products actually add more volume. Maybe my hair just sucks. I feel that with continued use these two products could make my hair feel thicker The colour of the bottle was my favourite thing about fibralogy

I love the packaging - bright and funky colors. It smells great and is a nice thick texture. My hair certainly felt clean but not in a chemical way like some shampoos can. As far as "thickening hair fibre from the inside", I question whether this is actually scientifically possible and I have yet to notice any difference in that department unfortunately but have only been using it for a few weeks and only need to wash my hair every 5 or so days.
