Niacinamide and Vitamin C

I always thought we couldn’t use vitamin c products with niacinamide, but came across recently a serum that’s infused with both of these. It makes me wonder whether it’s worth using all at?

I've always heard too that since vitamin C is an acid and niacinamide is well... an amide it would be pointless using them at the same time. What serum is it that had both? To be honest a lot of face products that claim to have heaps of active ingredients thrown in probably don't have them at a high enough concentration to do much anyway.

The product brand is Some by Mi: Galactomyces pure vitamin c glow serum, which i think is Korean brand. Saw some nice reviews on it.
