$50 to me is a large out lay on a product I was unsure about, so when I saw it in the vault, it was perfect! My hair is at a stage where most of it has been over dyed & so I am trying not to colour it with permanents for as long as I can stand and I have some white hairs coming through, so this root cover is gold! Easy to apply on dry hair, using small brush. I found if I started too close to my hair line however, product was mp obvious on my scalp, so I found it better to start further out & work my way back. Instructions say to use the small end of the brush, so I'm not sure yet what the larger end of the brush is for. Product lasts well on my head & doesn't rub off on linen either. Washes out easily. Medium brown is a good colour match to my hair.

Tips: When applying close to hair line, have less on the brush or start further out & work back.
This has come in handy over the Covid Lockdowns!! My regrowth is terrible , im sure i grow another patch of greys everynight! So this has come in handy to help cover / hide the greys!!
My greys shine through after about 3-4weeks from colouring so I like touch up products to stretch me to about 5-6 weeks to my next colour
This touch up product is a mineral powder that you brush on.Similar consistency to an eyeshadow/brow powder. It has a double ended brush - the shorter brush for more precise application, and I guess the longer one for a lighter feathered application.
It definitely covers up the greys, but it's messy to apply and rubs off easily, so if you play with your hair, or rub your hands through your hair, the powder transfers to hands. I tended to use hair spray on that area to try and seal the powder. The powder also sprinkles about as you apply it.
For the price I don't think it's the best on the market, and the fact that it transfers to hands, skin, clothing - it was too off putting for me.
Tips: Do a little at a time until you've got the coverage you need.
Wash hair before bed or you'll ruin some bed linen.
I bought this from Farmers at my wits end, sick of the grey peeking out after only a couple of weeks out from the hairdressers. With the price being a rather hefty $50, I was a little skeptical, that it would be worth it, but it was cheaper than going back to the hairdresser every 3 weeks, so I felt I didn't have much to lose. I'm so glad I decided to give it a go! It has been the best beauty purchase I've ever made.
Being mineral-based, the powder brushes on easily and sits around the hair for a natural, blended look. It completely covers up the grey in a couple of strokes, and you can build on the colour if you want to. The compact is a generous size with a good little mirror, which has been invaluable when used in conjunction with the normal bathroom mirror when searching for those rogue grey hairs at the top of the head and behind the ears you wouldn't normally see otherwise.
I've now had my compact for eighteen months and I'd estimate I'd get at least another year out of it. That represents incredible value for me.
Tips: I would suggest washing out at the end of the day, otherwise, it can get a little itchy the next day.
