Does the job

It's not an extraordinary moisturiser by any means, but it's good. It has a vague smell of new world muffins which my bf and I always joke about. The formula hydrates without being too greasy and your skin will feel moisturised. So overall it's a good, reliable moisturiser.

So greasy! But its natural...

I can't stand this product because it was so greasy on my skin. It took a long time to soak in to my face and the smell was very powerful (not a bad smell, just a very strong smell) I love that it's natural but it is not the moisturizer for me! On the other hand my mum loves sukin so It could be a great product for other people.

AMAZING

It is one of the best moisturisers I've ever used. I love natural skin care.

Sukin is cruelty-free, environmentally friendly, no nasty chemicals at a very affordable price.

I use it in the morning before primer and foundation. It moisturises my skin extremely well, keeps it soft, smooth all day and smells amazing. The cream is lightweight, very gentle, absorbs into my skin easily and doesn't feel greasy which is amazing. It comes in a squeeze bottle which is very hygienic. A little amount is enough to cover my entire face and a bottle seems to last me ages.

The only negative comment I can say is it does not have SPF. However, it is still a brilliant natural product for its price.

Tips: Great to use as a pre-makeup moisturiser or a primer

I like that it is environmentally friendly and cruelty -free too - and a great product altogether.

Light and lovely

I tried this at my sisters place and really liked it. It is light once applied, no heavy grease layer. It absorbs easily with that Aloe feel. My skin feels supple and firm after application. I love that it is all natural and, well, it's Australian which at least is not as far to come as some products. The price is very decent and it seems a lovelu product.

Not for me.

I really like Sukin. What's not to love? Great quality ingredients, good for sensitive skin and a great price. Sadly, this moisturiser wasn't for me. With the signature scent of Sukin of oranges and vanilla, this moisturiser just doesn't get absorbed by my skin. It leaves my skin feeling tight and tacky.

Madeira Moisturiser

I bought the box of Sukin Gorgeous getaways and this was one of the products inside.

It comes in a cream and green 50ml tube with Sukin branding. I love the branding, it looks fresh and natural.

The tube has a flip top lid, and after removing the foil that covers the exit, the top is screwed back on and the product is access via the flip top.

The moisturiser is moderately creamy and has a subtle but very pleasant fragrance, that smells like fresh Madeira cake (yum!).

The product absorbs quickly into my face, and leaves a soft smooth feel with that beautiful delicate scent.

The product claim is it provides fast absorbing, deeply penetrating hydration that softens and soothes skin. It certainly meets this claim. It has aloe vera, horsetail, nettle and burdock to soothe with skin healing, rose hip, wheat germ, jojoba and avocado oil to promote healthy skin. My skin does feel like it has been treated to these gorgeous ingredients.

The 125ml bottle retails at around $13, and this feels like an extravagant product for that price. I highly recommend it.

That the product is sulphate and paraben free is also fabulous, and, like the other products in this set, the writing on the tube is large enough that I can see them without glasses, which is a big bonus for me! I’m sold on Sukin products after trying the 5 that come in the Gorgeous Getaways Box and have a list of other Sukin products to buy for myself for Christmas!!

Tips: Tip - It’s a great buy to get the Gorgeous Getways box to try at $31.50 from HealthPost. It has given me the opportunity to try some Sukin products, and I think they’re fabulous. The box would make a terrific gift also.

Great Moisturizer

I'm a loyal Sukin user and this moisturizer is perfect for my type of skin (sensitive and oily). Like all Sukin products, it doesn't have all the nasty ingredients in it which is becoming more and more important to me as I age.

The lotion is light and absorbs well - it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized but not greasy. Some facial moisturizers I've tried make my skin feel like it can't breath but not this one. The scent is fresh and nice but not too heavy.

I usually buy this from Healthpost for around $11 a bottle and it lasts about 2 months using twice a day. I wish it had SPF but that's a very minor issue.

Overall, love it!

Beautiful scent, Stay away if you're sensitive!

I stumbled across this moisturiser on my search for a natural ingredient based skin care line and fell in love with the scent immediately. I bought it and duly used it morning and evening as part of my regular routine in the harsh Auckland autumn/winter season. Initially I was thrilled as my skin seemed to be so much softer and more hydrated and some of the fine lines around my eyes and my smile lines were less prominent (or so I thought). During winter it was fantastic although it would leave me feeling a little greasy/shiny over my T-zone after a day at work, but it didn't put me off using it. I noticed after about 4 months (we're well into spring at this point), I had developed scaly, flaky areas over my nose and the pores on my nose and chin appeared more prominent, while my skin felt irritated and I got what I am assuming some form of contact dermatitis on my eyelids that were REALLY itchy and flaky. I get the occasional spot, especially while I'm PMS-ing but ordinarily they would clear up in a couple days, but while using this moisturiser it seemed to encourage those little suckers to linger for around a week minimum which was annoying. On a whim, I switched to the version of this moisturiser for sensitive skin and noticed the all of the issues that had sprung up since the change of season settled a little and my face felt way more comfortable and way less irritated, even the derm on my eyelids resolved a little (not completely as it still flares up when I use certain cosmetics, am stressed or come into contact with cheap jewelery) I decided that this was a good cream to have for the cooler months but was far too heavy/rich for me once the weather warmed up and that the lavender and citrus peel oils were probably quite irritating and caused my skin to develop sensitivities. A real pity because it smells like magic! This stuff lasts AGES and since it is so rich you can use it easily and comfortably as a facial massage cream if you have a bit of spare time/want to get a bit luxurious following a cleanse and tone. Overall a total bargain and a good moisturiser to have in your arsenal for the cooler seasons if you don't have sensitive skin. I will probably use this again intermittently when my skin feels a bit parched in winter as long as I keep it well away from my eyes and will use the rest as a hand cream.

Tips: -Definitely a cooler-weather moisturiser if you need something a bit heavier than your usual summer one.

gross one

i am fan of sukin range but not this one. i had really high hope for this facial moisturizer but turn out really bad. i don't have sensitive skin but after use i feel something different. this moisturizer doesn't do anything for me. it is said it for all skin type but i would recommand for normal and oil skin type not for dry skin. product comes in nice pump bottle which is i do really like it. i never ever bought again. smell horrible to. even my husband didn't like it.

Tips: not good for dry skin

Sukin Facial Moisturiser

This moisturiser had a great texture which wasn't too light or heavy, so I have been using it morning and night over the warmer months. I did still use a primer after applying it in the morning to ready my skin for makeup since my skin gets quite dry in the mornings, but I do this after every moisturiser. Most importantly, it didn't leave my skin feeling dry or oily morning or night - just nice and balanced. Plus even though it's not directly aimed at acne prone skin, it didn't make me break out or suffer from any more oiliness than usual. It absorbs quickly as long as you don't try to pile too much on, and it does have a slight mattifying effect.

I have used both the pump bottle and the newer bottle with the cap, and I definitely prefer the cap version - i find it easier to get the maximum amount of product out. Sometimes the pump would stop working which wasn't ideal, plus I think the capped bottles look a lot sleeker overall. I would definitely give this moisturiser a go if you have 'normal' skin and are looking for an affordable product, but would maybe steer clear if your skin has a history of reacting to certain ingredients - this moisturiser contains tangerine and orange oil which don't always agree with everyone.
