I think for the price this serum is worth it, it does have a nice feel on the skin and a little goes a long way as it's rather thick in consistency and saying that the tincture is not the best for this product you may end up just shaking it out of the bottle especially to get the lat of the product

This serum feels so "healthy" as you put in on your skin. It is not heavy an oily like some serums. I purchased this product because I love the other Products I have purchased from this manufacturer.
This is a nice product. The ingredients are mostly natural, the honey scent is delicious and I find it soothing and comforting on sensitive skin. I've used this when my skin is oily, when it's dry and when it's been sensitive and it need of extra nourishment and it's suited my skin every time and given a subtle glow and radiance. Honey is one of the few all rounders that benefits every skin type and helps in some way with almost every skin issue from acne to dry and sensitive skin. I think the price for the product isn't too bad. Now here's where it gets a little confusing it says to use the product 2-3 times a week. I don't understand. I would if it had acids or some irritating skin ingredient that would disrupt the acid mantle or cause irritation and redness if used daily or twice a day. I don't see anything irritating in this. The box says the manuka honey has over 80% manuka pollen but I think that it's possible that manuka honey in general does. And as someone with chronic hayfever I haven't had any irritation or allergies from using this, in fact it's soothed my skin that was irritated and red from hayfever. I also think the product needs a bigger dropper or something as the product is a big thick to use a dropper. I can still get it out but I think a bigger dropper or a pump would've been more efficient. Other than those two cons it's a lovely product I enjoy using under and in place of a moisturizer some nights. I have nice a radiant glow after I use it but that gone the next morning, although using it calms down my skin and helps to keep it hydrated. It also wears nicely under makeup it feels like a moisturizer when I first apply it but then it absorbs and my skin feels plump. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a moisturizing honey emulsion.
Tips: Ignore the 2-3 a week suggestion, it's gentle enough to use anytime you want really. I have skipped layering a night cream over this in my T-zone at night as I find this moisturizing enough for the oily areas of my face.
My first problem with this is the instructions. It says daily serum, but then goes on to how to use once a week. They should definitely look into this.
The dropper is useless, the product is too thick, nothing ever comes out of it, the dropper is full, but I just have to slide my fingers on the side of the dropper to get product off. Not very hygienic and so I use a lot more product than recommended.
It smells nice, I tap it into my skin lightly before I apply my nightcream. I don’t use it daily, just when I remember. I don’t see a difference between the days I use it and when I don’t, so not sure what it’s doing or if it’s actually doing something!?
I’ll use this up, but I’m happy I didn’t pay for it, I picked this up in the vault, I definitely won’t repurchase and it didn’t make me want to look into this brand any further. :/
I received the Wild Ferns Radiance Renewal Facial Serum in the Cruelty Free edition of BBBE. This is one of my favourite products from the box. It’s made in New Zealand with natural ingredients. The serum itself looks like liquid gold in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper and has a lovely perfume type scent.
I cleansed and toned my face before I applied the serum onto my face. I squeezed a couple of drops onto my palms and followed the instructions on the packaging - applied it onto my face in an upward motion. Even though it doesn’t say on the packaging, I also evenly applied it onto my neck. I only used it during the night before I hopped into bed. I found great results with my face the next morning. My blemishes had diminished, and my skin looked brighter, smoother and very fresh. I found that the serum was very light and not sticky. It spreads very evenly onto the skin and absorbs quickly.
I absolutely love this product and I will be buying it again once it’s finished. I recommend this product for someone who’s wanting a fresh look into the morning.
Tips: Cleanse and tone the face before applying the serum
Unfortunately this serum just doesn’t cut it for me. This was my first manuka product I’ve tried so I had high expectations after seeing all the hype around these types of products. I received it in the BBBE Cruelty Free edition and was blown away by the actual pottle.
The contrast of the milky serum in this yellow stained glass pottle is seriously worth a double take. It comes with a functional dropper which holds quite a bit of product so you may want to go easy when dispensing the product.
The serum is a semi thick milky consistency which is light weight on the skin. It has an artificial honey scent that reminds me off the skincare section in NZ souvenir stores. I notice that when I rub it into my skin it feels somewhat sticky and once ‘absorbed’ my face is left lightly tacky. Having oily skin I can do without this feeling particularly when I’m off to bed as I don’t want the product residue getting on my pillow.
After using this four times a week for 3 months I haven’t noticed any change. No radiance, no glow - nothing. The good news is that I have sensitive skin and I didn’t react to the regular use however you won’t find me lining up to purchase any manuka serums any time soon.
I received this product in the BBBE:Best Of 2017 Cruelty Free Edition box. So far this is my most favourite of this year. I have been using it for the last 2 months a couple of times a week in the evenings after my mask sessions.
From the first application I was impressed with the results. Lightweight formula and dropper application made it easy to use. Smells like honey but not an overpowering scent. My skin feels soft, moisturised, rejuvenated and I look glowy. I swear I look so good even though I am just going to bed.
I adore this facial serum so much. For the price point I feel like this is worth it and I will be repurchasing when this one runs out.
I got this serum in a Best Beauty Box Ever pack (my current obsession, these boxes are amazing!).
This serum is true to its word in that it is very lightweight. I use a lot of serums, mainly oil based ones and it was quite a nice change to have a serum that didn't feel so heavy on my skin. It feels like it is working to lift my skin (I can feel a tightening) when I put it on, which is always a good sign!
My biggest problem with this serum though, and the reason why I won't buy it again, is that it is very very perfumed. The smell is very strong and I personally don't like this.
Tips: If you have dry skin, you'll need to apply a moisturiser over top of the serum.
I came across this product, I must admit I usually don't buy any "manuka honey" products just because my skin sometimes doesn't like it every now and then.
I had no other serum to put and I thought I'd give this a go. a full go. and I feel like I got 100% out of it.
The serum is very sticky when it's first applied to your face - it smells nice but I personally didn't like the stickiness on my face as I couldn't do blow dry straight after I applied this serum.
If you are a patter (who will continuously pat until the product is sinked into the skin), this is the one for you. If you prefer to apply at one swipe and expect the product to sink in, this is not recommended for you.
I noticed that my skin did get a lot clearer and "radiance" (got brighter tones) after a bottle. I'm a cosmetic nomad and I still have heaps of my to-try list but I think I will come back to this serum when I skin gets too 'yellow-ish' later.
Tips: Make sure your skin is prepped with toner and it's ready for the serum.
I applied 2 very thin layers of the serum in the evening - and for the areas where I wanted to have more moisture for the night care - I applied vitamin E cream. The serum should not be the last step of your skin care regime!
I bought this at my local pharmacy because it was on sale. I wasn't sure about what it was meant to do for my skin as it just says radiance renewal but anything with honey in it is usually great for skin so i bought it. I've used it a few times at night (because the scent is strong) and it feels so nice when i put it on my skin and i think my skin feels better the next day but i cant really tell a difference in the way it looks. I also found the dropper was a bit useless but unsure if i have a dud or if it is bad. Im unsure if i would buy this again i think there are probably better serums out there but its not awful.
