I have this in my shower so thought I may as well review it. I use this product all the time! Well every second day as recommended. It is affordable and does the job. I like the smell and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Give it a go because I think it is great value for money.

Tips: For those of you after a more gentle scrub, St Ives have a scrub for sensitive skin that isn't as rough.
I think this is one of the best face scrubs out there and it is so cheap as well. For me I couldn't use it all the time as it does have a lot of rough beady bits compared to other scrubs. Worked great and my face felt very clean afterwards.
I love this product - I have been using for at least 10 years - probably longer and have got all my sisters into using it. Your skin feels and looks fully refreshed and cleansed and the price is unbeatable!! I have tried other products before when been given them for presents - but I haven't found anything as good as St Ives. Love it!
Nononono. SO MUCH NO! This product is so harsh :(. Acne: ruptured pustules and spreading infection. Blackheads: it can't penetate the pore, so all it does is dehydrate and exacerbate oil flow and lead to more blackheads, as well as red, damaged capillaries. Sensitivity: see previous comment about capillaries. Those crushed shell pieces are jagged and sharp, and they actually tear your poor skin. Don't do it!!! Jojoba beads are as rough as you need to go for physical exfoliants.
Tips: Use it on your body, not your face. I've so many clients coming in with various skin issues and they pretty much all over scrub their skin with products like this. You're better off using very gentle physical combined with ahas and bhas. If you're acneic, don't use any form of physical exfoliant. Stick to gentle gelexfoliants- salicylic acid especially is great for congestion and pustules.
I do love this scrub, although sometimes I experiment with buying other scrubs instead. I do seem to always come back to this one though! It never irritates my skin, and it always leaves a nice smooth feeling afterwards. Not too pricey, either, and it lasts for quite a few uses.
Tips: I love that Apricot scrubs have natural exfoliants, so it's a great choice if you're concerned about the environment!
I used to use this alot before I really tried out more skin care prodcuts, but don't reach for it much anymore. It is quite a harsh scrub and you can feel it scraping. It does leave the skin feeling really soft, but I would say it is more a once a week scrub if you have dry flaky skin that you need to get rid or, rather than an everyday or 3/4 times a week scrub.
Tips: I would recommend using water to 'splash' (rinse) this off your face -as I found using a face cloth just rubbed the grains around my face and didn't remove it all.
I use this scrub a couple of times a week. It has a pleasant mild fragrance, and gives an effective cleanse without being too harsh, like I find some scrubs can be. Given it's one of the cheapest skin care ranges available, I find this product extremely good value.
I loved using this scrub! Sometimes scrubs can be too rough or not rough enough, but this one seemed to have the perfect amount of exfoliation for my skin. It didn't upset my skin like some other scrubs do.
I'm not a huge fan of the smell, but it's not overpowering enough to put me off using it!
It's one of those scrubs you've got to make sure you've rinsed off completely too, even if you think you've got it all, rinse again! I found that I kept finding the little bits on my face afterwards, or maybe that's just me!?
Tips: 1. You don't need a lot of this to get the job done 2. Make sure you only use this scrub a few times a week, if not less. Or you will make your skin angry!
This scrub is very rough, the particles in the scrub are large too. I bought this product and only used it once as it left my skin feeling raw and dry. I will be sticking to the St Ives Microdermabrasion which has much finer granules.
Tips: Try the St Ives Microdermabrasion scrub if you have sensitive skin.
I would honestly not use this at all unless your skin can handle really harsh, rough scrubs. I can feel it doing damage to my skin and while it does feel smoother afterwards, it also feels dry and damaged. I can't believe that they would recommend a usage of 3 to 4 times a week as that seems too much even for less harsh scrubs.
I love the smell of apricots so that is a good thing but probably the only thing I like about this product.
