All around great beauty staple

The product comes in a compact plastic round jar with a twist off lid. It is fairly easy to hold in the palm of your hand and apply with your other hand. It's handy packaging with so many uses means it's a great beauty staple and perfect to toss in your everyday purse or even coat pocket.

The product has a light nondescript scent. For the first application, you'll need to warm up the top layer of the balm with your finger so it can easily be applied to your skin. The balm has a light silky touch and easily transfers from your finger to the area you are using it on. And a little goes a long way! It's so smooth and easy to work into your skin, but I loved slathering layers on to areas that needed more TLC.

I love that the balm is designed for 'here, there and everywhere' because that's how multi-functional it is, I found myself reaching for it more than a body lotion or hand cream. I like how well the product absorbs, so you don't need to towel it off like hand cream, just rub the extra application on your finger tips and hands into your elbow and forearm.

I used it on my cuticles (hand and feet), heels, drying skin around closed cuts, elbows, knees, dry patches on my face, knuckles...

Handy little product, and will last for ages!

Tips: Rub excess product left on your hands into your elbows and forearms.

A wee gem!

What a great wee product this is for healing cuts, bites, sores, bruises, chapped dry lips, softening cuticles and relieving sunburn.I was bitten by a white tail spider just recently which left a nasty blister and this balm has healed it completely.I also found immediate relief from itchy insect bites such as sand flies and mosquitos that I seem to get when ever I head outdoors to do gardening or just relax in the sun.

The container is made from plastic which doesn't worry me as it makes it light to carry around in your handbag other then a heavy jar.It has a lid that is easy to unscrew and the packaging looks up market with a modern and sophisticated design which is on trend along with all the other Wild Ferns product range. The container holds a generous 50 grams which will last a long time as a little goes a long way,you really do not need much at all. The product has a very thick consistency which I found at first quite hard to dig out but after several uses it became much easier.I didn't think there was much of a fragrance with this, in fact I could barely smell anything which in my opinion is a good thing because it won't clash with any perfume you might be wearing.I found you don't need to apply a lot for this to work effectively so this makes the balm very economical to use. Over summer I tend to suffer with dry chapped sore lips and this balm has worked a treat on soothing and keeping my lips soft and moist without any bad allergic reaction. The balm is also very effective at keeping your cuticles nourished and looking great and makes a very good hand moisturizer especially if you apply overnight,my hands were soft and supple the next day.As the product states, here, there and everywhere balm, well it certainly is,even found that it kept my fly aways tamed and helped with my dry ends on my hair. The bottom line...I am sold on this wee gem because it does live up to what it claims to do and my results speak for them self. This product is all natural with no added nasty stuff and is affordable, economical and effective.A must for every household.

Tips: You don't need to use much as a little will go a long way and the product will soften after a few uses which makes it easier to dig out.

Wild Ferns Here, There & Everywhere Balm

Great product!

Packaging is a little outdated to me, a creamy yellow screw top plastic tub with a sticker that looks like a tourist shop product. But it is a generous 50g container, and worth the RRP.

Consistency is a little hard to begin with and you need to dig into it a little with fingernails to get a decent amount of product out. However, once warmed it glides on easily and has a very slight but gentle scent.

I used this product as a lip balm, and to soften dry skin on hands and feet - was amazing. I also used it on a persistent patch of eczema and believe it has really helped to reduce the itchyness and redness.

I also used it on my tattoos and it definitely seemed to help freshen the area and pop the ink visually without leaving a greasy look on the skin. It was also great on my nail cuticles! The only thing I didn't like was the smell it left on my hands following, it seemed different on my warm hands than in the container.

Product has a good consistency to carry around in this warm weather, but container a little big for my liking to pop in a handbag so would need to decant into something smaller.

All round great product though, and keen to purchase again to support a kiwi made product that does what it claims!

Tips: Warm the product on fingertips before application

Wild Ferns Here, There and Everywhere Balm

I received this balm to trial just before the holiday break and have been using it every day since. I used it in two ways - as a lip balm and to massage a small facial scar following recent surgical removal of a benign cyst. It worked well for both applications, keeping my skin soft and moisturised without being greasy. The balm is a pale yellow in colour and has a very faint beeswax flavour. For a balm, it's quite solid and it can take a bit of work to get it going - but I see this as a positive. There are a couple of real benefits to this product. Firstly, the amount of product (50g) is very generous. I have been using it daily for about a month and have barely made a dent. Secondly, the product doesn't melt like other balms. I've been carrying it in my handbag and its been sitting in hot rooms but has remained a semi-solid consistency without going soft or going 'off'. While the balm itself isn't revolutionary, if you're looking for one product that will last for ages and for a multitude of uses, this may be just what you're after.

Tips: This would make a great balm to keep in the glovebox of your car.

Beautiful balm

I am in love with this manuka balm. You can literally use it everywhere. I have used it on my face, hands, lips and even on the cracks on my heels, which might I add have helped repair them enormously.

This product is nicely packaged and it comes in a small tub which is handy to slip into my small handbag to use throughout day. A little goes a long way.

The balm itself is soft, non oily, absorbs and works straight away. There is a slight delicate smell.

I would definitely purchase this again and at the price indicated I would be more than happy to spend that.

Delicious balm

Well I've been using the here there an everywhere balm for a few weeks now, and it not only smells yummy but it feels nice when used. It spreads nice an smooth as it melts with the heat of your skin as you apply it, I have had a few very dry rough scaley parts on my right hand that have been so annoying sticking around for what feels like forever. I have tried so many things to get rid of it cause my hands have been looking like guys hands for a while, I hav had little to no luck but in weeks of trialling this product it's not so dry an is starting to look like girls hands not mans hands. I will definitely keep using this to see of it goes away fully, and will absolutely recommend this to all fams an friends especially ones who have babies. It is not a harsh balm an ive used it on my 2 year olds lips and on his bites and cuts, it's very nice on him also. This has helped his bites and cuts in healing up faster than normal without getting all scarred up like some of them used to, and he loves putting it on his own lips he said it smells very yummy

Tips: When in doubt try it out After a shower I put some over my whole face an hands it's a habit to keep up with

Love it!

The Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Here, There and Everywhere Balm is amazing! I've tried it as a lip balm, body balm, after sunburn, hand cream and foot balm, and it's awesome for all of the above. The thing i love about it the most is that i can use it as a moisturiser straight after I've shaved my legs and i don't get rashy lol. I have ridiculously sensitive skin, so most moisturizers and body balm/butters will give me with a mild rash. I also love how i can use it on my tattoos and it makes them look 'refreshed', the black/greys darker and colors brighter. I'll definitely be ordering some more once this pot runs out!

Amazing on cracked, dry and irritated skin

I have been testing Wild Ferns’ balm for 1 month at the time of this review (Jan 2018).

The consistency of the balm is very compact. I either scrape it with my nails or have to push my fingertip into the balm to collect some of it. This is the only negative aspect of this product. Once the balm has warmed up on my fingertip, it is easy to apply and a little will go a long way. I was expecting the balm to smell of Manuka honey; it smells like paraffin.

I have used as follows: - I have applied it every night on my dry lips and I have awaken with smooth lips. - I have massaged it on cracked dry feet before bedtime and the result in the morning is a nice smooth skin. - My husband has rubbed it on an hematoma which has helped in reducing the bruise and has covered a long skin abrasion where there too, the balm seems to have helped with the speed of the recovery. - My daughter has used it on a sunburn to soothe the discomfort.

It is not a product I would use every day on my feet and body as the nourishing effect will last a few days. However I will definitely use it on bruises and skin irritation when needed.

At $26.60 for 50g, I find this product is worth the money. It is 100% natural, made in New Zealand, paraben free, and not tested on animals.

The packaging of the Wild Ferns Manuka Honey balm is a nice honey yellow colour which can be recycled and is even printed with biodegradable inks. There is no wasted space in the box. The jar is easy to open and close.

I will recommend the balm to my family and friends and will send some as gift oversea to my family. It has shown good results every time I used it. The only inconvenience is to take some out of jar.

Tips: Warm it on your fingertips before applying.

Everything Balm

What an awesome product this is! It is one of those magical all purpose balms that should be a staple in any household.

First off packaging - it comes in a lovely yellow pot with a screw top lid, easy to spot in the drawer or on the shelf and the lid screws on tightly so you can pop it in your handbag and not worry that there will be any mess.

The consistency of this product is very firm, you really have to work your finger around and warm the product up to pick up a decent ammount at one time.

The product applies beautifully, its smooth, glides on easily and does leave you with a horrible sticky feeling. It has a really mild almost sweet fragrance, not enough to be notice when you have it on

One of the main uses we have found for this is to apply to insect bites (which are always rife over these warm month) I have been using on both myself and the kids, it genuinely provides relief and takes the itchiness away, also helps the bite to heal so much faster. It even stops the kids from scratching.

It also works well as a lip balm and to moisturizes any really dry skin areas, I tend to get super dry skin on my hands if I m not careful and this really helps put moisture back.

Definitely loving this balm and will continue to use it "Here, There and Everywhere"

Miracle balm for skin conditions

Wow this is not an everything balm, it's a magic balm!! I should start by advising that I suffer from mild psoriasis and recently this has been playing up a lot on my inner wrists leaving me with sore, red & awful looking skin. My daughter (2yrs) suffers from non-specific dermatitis behind her knees, in her elbows and in random little patches all over her body, with minimal success with other creams. So when the chance to trial this product came up I was excited but dubious about the outcome. Well this is certainly surpassed my expectations. My psoriasis on one wrists is gone (I have uploaded pictures) & hugely improved on the other one. AS for my daughter her skin condition by nature comes and goes, but as soon as we apply this within a day the red dryness is mostly gone & as long as we keep applying it she is happy. During our summer holiday I also brought it along for things like insect bites which my son usually reacts to in massive swelling - this was far less now because of the balm.

I love that it's so versatile because no only is it good for skin conditions it makes a pleasant lip balm, and I found myself rubbing it into my nail beds often. The Packaging is cute in a pale yellow that represents nicely the Manuka Honey that this product is based around. I really like that while it goes on a little bit greasy it is quickly absorbed and doesn't like oil marks on clothes.

I would absolutely buy this again, I'm almost afraid to be without it now.

Tips: The balm is pretty firm when you first buy it & while it kills me sometimes to dig things with my nails, the results were better when I was able to warm up and scoop out a bigger portion.
