Perfect everyday cream

Oasis products have always been excellent and this moisturizer didn't let me down. I've sensitive skin and tend to stick to one or two facial moisturizers just in case I react badly. Thankfully this cooperated well with my face and I had no irritation whatsoever. I apply this morning and night and it does a very good job in locking in the moisture. I feel as if I'm sucking up a lot of it into my face which is definitely a good thing. Before I started using this I had run out of moisturizer and was too lazy to buy more. The harsh winter wind really dried up my face which resulted in tiny flaky patches. Now it's completely gone thanks to this. I really like how it's spf 25 because it means I always have that extra layer of protection even if I forget (ahem not bother) to wear sunscreen. The texture is very smooth and creamy so it feels very nourishing when I rub it on. I'm not sure I like the smell of it because I can't really describe the smell. It's definitely not bad but it's not the typical scent you'd expect.

This moisturizer is a recommend from me mainly because it's perfect for people who have sensitive skin. It's also very nourishing so if you've dry skin then this would be quite suitable.

Truly amazing

I am so glad that I tried this Apple a Day Facial Moisturiser. I love how it has SPF 25 in it, which is what I look for in a daily moisturiser so I don't have to worry about sunscreen for sun protection :)

It does not make my skin looking white like what sunscreen does to my skin. The moisturiser comes in a pump bottle which is more hygienic and convenient. The pump pumps out the right amount of moisturiser just enough to cover my entire face. A bottle would last me up to 3 months I reckon.

WOW this moisturiser smells like APPLE which is lovely, it reminds me of Apple Pie.

I wear it daily. The moisturiser contains Rosehip Oil, Almond Oil and Apricot Kernel oil. Rosehip Oil are amazing for your skin. I love the texture the consistency of the cream, creamy thick but very hydrating, lightweight and absorbs into my skin straight away. I don’t feel greasy afterward. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with the results. My skin feel soft and definitely looks brighter.

This is another fantastic NZ made moisturiser. I would definitely buy more Oasis products and recommend it to my friends and family.

Ticks all the boxes

I received this product as a large sample in the Oasis goodie bag. I am not on the market for this product as I prefer to use a BB cream if I'm organised enough to wash my face and moisturise in the morning, but if I was I'd be purchasing. The product went on really smoothly and my skin lapped it up without feeling greasy. Even an hour or two later my skin feels smoother than with other moisturisers. I have sensitive combination skin so it's a difficult balance finding a moisturiser, but this one manages to be hydrating without being too rich and causing breakouts. I love the fact it's SPF as it's so important to protect our skin in NZ.

As for the skin brightening properties... I don't feel I've used this consistently enough to comment on that. Although now I think about it my face hasn't looked this clear in a long time. Maybe I need to rethink my decision not to purchase...

Tips: To get a trial sized sample purchase the goodie bag (awesome, I totally recommend it!) or ask for a sample next time you're at an Oasis retailer.

Great for Protection and Hydration

So I've read all the hypes on Beauty review about Oasis. What I enjoy about Oasis is that their a New Zealand based company who gives back to the community. I enjoy supporting companies that make a difference within New Zealand. Their product range has natural based ingredients in them. At the time I got a few samples sent to me when they had a free sample bag online. I also received more samples from a friend. I'm glad I got to try them before committing to full sized products.

I can't comment about the packaging as I had sample pots. The colour of this moisturiser was white. It had a slight apple scent to it with a dough type scent. The consistency wasn't to thick or thin. Looks like your normal moisturiser. Before I apply my moisturiser I like to prepare my skin by cleansing and toning before hand. I normally apply a small sized amount of this moisturiser for day time use. I got a few applications out of two pots.

After using it I noticed my skin was hydrated. My dry patches are normally on my cheeks and nose. My oily patches are normally on my chin and forehead. This did protect me from the sun in summer. I didn't get any sunburn with it on. I wasn't fond on the scent of this moisturiser. I smelled weird to me. Other than that it is a good moisturiser if your looking for hydration and protection for your skin. I think trying a sample would be ideal before investing in this. I think can still get samples but you need to request them in store. I'm planning on getting a couple more samples soon to try them out and then make an order after I've decided if I like it or not.

An apple a day keeps the sunburn at bay...

The one thing my morning face moisturiser must have at least is an SPF, and after reading Binary Beauty's review on her blog I was sold (plus NZ made heck yeah!).

I like how its a pump action so I can limit what Im using and down the side of the bottle lets me see how much is left - super handy. Its a nice thin moisturiser which doesn't feel caked on my oily skin.

I haven't been sunburnt while outdoors, including during workouts when I sweat so this really does what it says to protect against the suns harmful rays.

Downside - I haven't noticed any fine lines reduced or brighter even skin tone, Its only been my first bottle so Im still on the fence if I continue using it for awhile longer or if I will try something new.

All in all, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin so would always know I could use this hassle free.

Applicious

I was super lucky to pick this up in the BR Vault Dec '15. I'd heard great things and was keen to try it but it was a bit pricey for a maybe, so this was the perfect chance. This is my first full sized Oasis product!

Oasis Beauty Apple a Day SPF25 Skin Brightening Moisturiser for sensitive skin comes in a 50 ml pump bottle simply and beautifully labelled in a mix of white and apple green, which darker green writing. The pump is a bit tricky, I kinda need 1.5 pumps so end up with two, so use the extra on my neck and ears.

The product is quite a thick white cream with a distinct, fresh, pleasant apple scent. It spreads well, but tends to sit on my skin and feel a little tacky until it absorbs. This feeling only lasts a moment and once it's properly on/in my skin feels great.

It definitely has skin brightening properties, making my face look quite alive in the morning. The apple scent is invigorating, and the effect that this has on my skin is awesome. The SPF 25 is more than enough to protect my face, especially once I add makeup, and i haven't burned once since i began using this on my face, which is awesome. I spend a lot of time outside in summer so face SPF is essential.

I love this product but where i hesitate is the price. I have used SPF face lotions that are almost as good for 1/4 of the price so unsure right now if I can justify the $40 - but I do like it, a lot, and could be swayed if Oasis have promotions on!

Tips: Oasis often run free samples - go to their website above and type 'samples' in the search bar. You can usually choose three products; i would recommend this one, a BB cream and either the milk cleanser or the berry toner, myself! :)

Great sunscreen

I picked this up in the vault and was very pleased I grabbed it. First of all, it didn't make me break out, which normally happens when I switch moisturisers. I had no reactions what so ever. It's very moisturising, which I like, because even though I'm oily most days, I still have some dry patches. Most Spf moisturisers freak my skin out, so I'm very pleased this one didn't. Very happy with this product. The only downfall for me is the weird smell - it's Apple but then something else too. Not unpleasant, just weird. But will still definitely repurchase.

Stewed Apples!

I grabbed this in the Vault as wanted to give a full size Oasis product a go.

I'm still going on this bottle with using it daily since receiving it, so maybe 6 -8 weeks now! I'm quite surprised at how long the tube is lasting, it doesn't look like much... but 2 pumps daily is actually going well!

I still feel it's a little expensive though for something that's not overly special but then again I'm a drug store girl.

Apple a day actually has a faint stewed apple smell which I personally love! It's not too strong and the smell goes pretty much as the cream absorbs.

It does absorb well, fairly quickly so great under make up. It's also a great consistency, runny but not too much, light weight and smooth.

I don't feel it did much for anti -aging but then using it for longer would show better results for this.

It has kept my skin nicely hydrated.

All in all it's a lovely moisturiser & sunscreen but for the price that it is I wouldn't purchase it to be honest.

Smells like Granny Smith apples

I received a small sample pot of Oasis Beauty Apple A Day SPF25 facial moisturiser in the Oasis Beauty Goodiebag that I ordered. I wasn't expecting much from this moisturiser as I have naturally oily skin and Apple A Day is aimed at more dry to combination skin, but it surprised me. It moisturises really well without feeling greasy and the added SPF is a bonus!

I can't really comment on the full sized packaging, as I only received a sample pot but the label does state that its SPF25 and I always prefer my daily moisturiser to contain an SPF. Looking at their website, I was surprised to see that Apple A Day actually has a much higher SPF than what is on the label. This is what it says on Oasis Beauty's website: "Apple a Day is just what the doctor ordered. Packed with anti-ageing vitamins plus active naturals to brighten and hydrate with an added bonus of non-whitening SPF30 to keep your skin protected. Don’t be confused, the packaging might say SPF 25 but it came out of testing much higher than we anticipated! You also get the bonus of PA +++ which protects you from premature ageing and skin cancer."

The white cream has a thick consistency and a lightweight texture that is easily absorbed into the skin and leaves no white sunscreen residue or greasy feeling. The best part, it has this really fresh, crisp green apple scent. It smells exactly like Granny Smith apples!

As for the brightening properties, well, I can't really see a difference in brightness over the two weeks that I used the sample pot for.

Would I purchase a full sized tube of Oasis Beauty Apple A Day? Probably not. It's not a bad moisturiser, so this answer is not based on the product, I just prefer Oasis Beauty Knock-Out Moisturiser for my oily skin.

Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, definitely if they have dry to combination skin.

Tips: Use one of Oasis Beauty's serums under Apple A Day for an added moisture boost.
