Trilogy Very Gentle Restoring Oil Review

This little bottle of golden goodness is my favourite of the Sensitive range. Smelling ever so slightly of sesame oil, it also contains macqui berry, apricot (kernel?) oil and sea buckthorn oil. These last two ingredients are great after sun exposure. I use this product after a serum at night to help counteract any weather related effects on my skin. In a beautiful frosted brown bottle with a dropper, you only need about three drops to provide good coverage over your face, neck and decolletage.

I am so glad I got to trial this - it is now a new favourite (along with the Trilogy Sensitive serum). This is the first facial oil I have used that actually absorbs rapidly without leaving a greasy layer that makes my fringe oily! But that is not the only reason I love it: it's super gentle, leaving no irritation, and is calming for flushed, irritated skin, while really restoring winter-ravaged skin. The morning after using it my skin is lovely and soft and supple, and I have had no break outs with it. You only need a few drops to get maximum results - I can't recommend it enough!

I love a good serum, and this one is now right up there with my top favourites!! Its delicious - from the gorgeous packaging to the amazing quality of the oil...I feel so grateful to be reviewing this lovely oil! My skin is quite dry and gets irritated under stress or due to the weather. Some serums cause my skin to break out but the consistency of the product helped hydrate and nourish my skin and helped soothe any irritation. I use the serum under my moisturiser at night and under the mask, once a week. I honestly feel like my skin looks the best has in ages and my make up sits better on top of it.
