Linden Leaves Regenerating Night Cream with Organic White Tea and Goji Berry Review

This Regenerating Night Cream lives up to it's name. After a reaction to another moisturiser in the Linden Leaves range I was not disappointed by this rich, lightly fragranced cream. It has repaired the dry, itchy areas caused by the other moisturiser and has left my skin looking soft, moist and rejuvenated without any areas of tightness nor discomfort. I like this new style of pump applicator which pushes the product up the bottle rather than relying on suction through a hose. So no problems with wastage and not getting my monies worth. I have been using this cream both morning and night and adding a drop of the Miraculous Facial Oil at night as our heat pump does tend to dry out my skin. The combination has been awesome! I can happily recommend this product for mature, dry, sensitive skin. One pump is plenty as the cream is rich so I'm perfectly happy to pay the price of this product.

Full sized product received with my Beauty box purchase. It comes with push- down dispenser which differed to the squeeze tubes I've previously used. I noticed my skin had a lovely night glow after I applied which remained when I woke up the next morning. I am a huge fan of Linden Leaves products and when I found it in my beauty box, it was one of my first. I always found choosing a god night cream a real challenge as there's so many different options. I loved this one particularly as its natural. I've been using this product for 3 weeks now and should still last me another 3 weeks.

This night cream was wonderful !! It smells lovely and although it has quite a thick texture, it glides on effortlessly.

Because I have skin on the dry side, I loved how creamy and rich this product was. It gave a good hit of moisturising and when I woke up in the mornings my skin felt so smooth and silky. Have also noticed the skin tone seems more even.

The packaging and look of the bottle is nice and clean too. You push the top of the bottle down to pump out the product and 1 pump was the perfect amount.

I love everything about this night cream and will definitely be buying it again once I run out.

I love a good night cream. I've reached a time in my life where I can't live without some kind of product on my face at night, because I see so much benefit the next morning.

This night cream is just lovely. It's so smooth and creamy and sinks into your skin like magic. It's not heavy, but you can feel that it's there. The aroma is lovely which must be all of the delicious organise white tea, goji berries and meadow form it has in it.

For me I really enjoying pairing this with the Linden Leaves Miraculous Facial Oil which I would apply first. It prepared my skin for the night cream which would just absorb so beautifully into the skin afterwards.

I noticed that when I woke in the mornings (which is 4.30 am) I wasn't looking like a tragic wreck! That is saying something. It made me take a second look :)

The other thing that's great about this product is the packaging. It has a press down mechanism so that you only get the amount of product that you need and it's so hygienic!

This night cream is an absolute treat. I usually avoid night creams like the plague as they are often too rich for my skin and cause break-outs so I was very nervous about trying this one. The fragrance is incredible and very soothing and the intriguing pump dispenses just the right amount of cream to use. The combination of ingredients in this night cream is not only great for your skin, I'm sure it must be great for sleep as well - very soothing! In the time I've been using the night cream, I've had no issues with break-outs and I've noticed a definite improvement in the softness and texture of my skin so I will definitely continue with the cream. This is a great product to use if you have struggled with night creams in the past.

Firstly LOVE the look of the packaging, the branding is basic, uncluttered and clean. The function of the bottle confused me, the top has a depression and a tiny opening in the middle and works by pushing it into the recess in the bottle. I felt like a monkey trying to work out a puzzle in a testlab. It got to the point where I wanted to throw it... So, not a fan of the delivery mechanism. I would have appreciated a more simple squeeze tube, or traditional pump. The consistency was good, smell was nice and light but disappeared on contact. As with the rest of the range I found my skin refused to absorb it, and my pillow was gross in the morning. Because of the absorption issues I can't say if this product did anything to improve the condition of my skin, I didn't notice any changes after 2 weeks of trialing it. I tried this on its own and mixed with the oil of the same range with disastrous results. On its own I had absorption issues, with the oil I had sticky absorption issues.. I wouldn't buy this product based on the experience I have had, however someone with different skin chemistry might have better luck. My tip would be try before you buy with this product.

Now when I say tricky packaging I don't mean the box !! The external packaging like all Linden Leaves products is beautiful - it's looks really natural and luxurious. As well as all that the packaging is environmentally friendly and is 100% recyclable. What stumped me was how to get the cream out of the bottle - it actually took me three nights to work it out as it wasn't designed like any other products I've ever used!! The bottle has a concave top to it with a central point which looks like a membrane. Night One - I took the top of the bottle then tried to press my finger to the central point on the bottle but could really get much out of it. Night two - I thought maybe with the concave shape I should press it firmly to my face and try to apply it directly, didn't really work for me either !! Night Three - I finally worked out that I needed to pump the concaved top which caused a bead of cream to appear in the centre of the bottle !!! I'm not usually this slow to work things out so this was a bit frustrating. Once I worked it out I was really impressed with the product. It contains organic white tea, goji berry and meadowfoam. It is a beautifully rich cream which smells divine and promises to deeply nourish, repair and regenerate skin cells. As someone with very dry skin I like finding products that really hydrate and this made my skin still feel fantastic in the morning when I woke up.

Linden Leaves is the type of brand I love as it is NZ made, and uses natural ingredients which won't harm the skin. This night cream really is fantastic!

The night cream is the exact consistency I look for in a night cream. It is heavy without weighing the skin down. It absorbs in easily and leaves skin feeling soft and well moisturised.

Personally, I don't overly like the bottle. It has a top which pumps down to release the cream which sits on top of the lid, which is fine but I can be a little lazy with putting on the lids but with this moisturiser, I feel I have to put the lid on to prevent dust and other things gathering on where the cream would sit. Clearly, this isn't a major problem but I would prefer it in a tube or pump bottle similar to the day moisturiser. On the plus side, I find the quantity that comes out in one pump is just right and because of the design, you don't contaminate the cream with dirty fingers.

I both like and don't like the smell. I am not sure what the scent is, maybe the goji berry that comes through. It isn't an overly strong scent and is one that I would think most people would like but for me, it isn't one that I want to smell for a long time which is lucky as it doesn't linger.

Overall this night cream is fantastic. One pump and you get the perfect application amount. It feels amazing on and absorbs in easily. I would recommend this face cream to anyone 30+ who is looking for a natural face cream that works!

I have often read about the qualities of the goji berry and have been keen on using a product that contains it - so here was my opportunity. This ingredient teamed up with other tried and trusted ingredients such as echium and meadowfoam looked to be a great recipe for a thirsty skin. My skin has responded quite well to this night cream and I was pleased to try it but not sure if I would purchase it again as I felt the texture was a bit thin. It is a lovely product to work with beautiful ingredients.

Once again, what a great product. The scent of the cream was relaxing and really appropriate for before bed. The product itself was easy to apply. The only negative I found was with the bottle. I found it harder to get the product out and would have preferred a bottle like the moisturiser.
