L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Replump Serum

L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler [HA] Revolumising Serum is formulated for mature skin, for women between the ages of 40 and 60. It is a facial serum with the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid ever found in any Loreal product. It comes in a sleek dispensing tube that you manually pump to dispense the product. I found I needed to dispense the serum 2 - 3 times to get the right amount to fully cover my face. But that would vary depending on the preference of the user. The serum has a cream-like consistency and it applies and absorbs easily without any residual stickiness. I noticed a mild tingly feeling on my face after applying the serum but it dissipates without any aggravation and you hardly notice it over continual use. For best anti-wrinkle and revoluminising results, it is recommended to apply the serum before the anti-aging moisturiser of this range, but you can also use it alone. I’ve used this serum as part of the revitalift filler regime and they did produce plump and rejuvenated skin with reduced wrinkles and fine lines.

Tips: For better results, use before L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler day moisturiser.

Softening serum

Packaging is nice and eye catching, fills wrinkles and plumps skin is the promise, the serum comes in a container that you push the bottom of it to pump out a bit of serum out of the spout, it’s meant to be a take on a syringe, it’s horrid and clumsy to use. I hold it in my right hand and pump the bottom with my thumb and put the serum on my finger.

But that’s the only negative the serum it pearlised in colour with a pretty shimmer, fragrance it like hops beer brewing hops.

3 pumps is not a lot but enough for my face and neck so after cleansing and toning I apply this and use a light upward stroke I pat it gently into my skin morning and night, I give it a few minutes to soak in as it states I then follow with moisturiser.

I like it and my skin likes it, I’m left with very soft skin nice and moisturised over the weeks I was using this I’m pretty sure there is more softness to my heavy lines. Definitely my skin was plumped with using this serum it’s quite hydrating.

I used this after cleansing and toning it’s nice and soothing to use so no bad reaction at all It soaks in nicely I’m sure this has improved the look of my lines

Tips: Give it a few minutes to soak in before applying moisturiser

Replumping serum

I was lucky enough to receive this as a trial product. The serum comes in a luminous purple box. It promises to fill wrinkles and replump skin. The key ingredient is hyaluronic acid concentrate.

When I first removed the serum from the box, I thought, “Gosh this looks like a syringe!” And that is actually how you apply the serum. It comes in a long, plastic, 16ml tube with a removable lid. You can put the “needle” directly onto the areas of your face where you wish to apply the product, and then you push down on the dark purple button on the end to dispense it. Unfortunately the directions on the box do not specifically say to do this, so I had to figure it out on my own. But once I realised how to work it I found it pretty easy to use.

The serum itself is white in colour and creamy in texture. It has not irritated my skin. You do not need to use much, and the the syringe-like dispenser only ejects a small amount with each pump.

I have been using the serum on the frown line between my eyebrows, and I think it has been working over these past few weeks to make it appear less prominent. I will continue to use this once the trial is over.

Pumping to Replump - a winning combination

I really liked the pump - no unscrewing lids or trying to put them back on when you have serum on your hands. It did take quite a few pumps to get enough to cover my face and neck generously - maybe 6-8 pumps but the result was fabulous and it hasn't run out yet! It was easy to apply and VERY quickly absorbed which meant you didn't have to wait around to apply your moisturiser for ages. My skin gets so dry at this time of year and each day I used the Replump serum, my skin felt hydrated day and night. Definitely removed my finer lines - especially between my eyebrows. I really like this product. Would be great if it came with a refill to reuse the pump on it.

Tips: Use the filler on warm, damp skin, it seems to absorb much better. I used Loreal Revitalift night cream after the filler - worked a treat with fresh, hydrated skin in the morning.

Anti wrinkle wonder

I’ve been using this for several more weeks with absolute dedication and I am sold on the product. It works wonderfully well under my moisturiser and my makeup doesn’t slide off at all. I love the dropper, and the easy application is perfect and works into the skin quickly. A little goes a long way, so its economical as well. I’m happy to report that some wrinkles have diminished and the skin around my lips is firmer. All good and I will most definitely continue to use this product. At 69 I am fortunate to have only a few “fine line” wrinkles - around my mouth and towards my chin and between my eyebrows, this product does firm the skin around my chin and neck. There is no miracle solution, however I always get compliments about my skin and this is certainly worth using!

Tips: Ease it in gently and always work upwards.

A good hydrating serum

I'm a fan of L'Oreal serums. The older I've got the more my skin has enjoyed the benefits from their serums. I'm 43 and I'm always looking for products to solve my main skin woes - hydration, brightness, and fine lines. Anything that can help me wear less makeup and has me feeling confident in my skin has my tick.

This serum is a little different than L'Oreals others in the application/dispensing aspect. The serum dispenses from a pen - and it dispenses a very small amount - which is great for making sure you use the right amount. I dotted the serum around - using 4-5 dots, and it provided good coverage for my face. The pen I found to be awkward to use at first. It's quite bulky. I also tend to keep my skin products in a cupboard and this pen tends to like to lie down - and needs to be leaning slightly towards the dispensing end otherwise product doesn't come out as easily. Once I figured all this out though, the pen is fine.

Once applied the serum absorbs nicely, and doesn't leave a residue on the skin. It glides onto the skin nicely as well. It's very similar to all their other serums.

The serum itself performed well in adding the hydration to my skin, and making it look smoother. It's definitely something you need to use day & night ongoing to get the results I would think. A few weeks in and it felt great on skin. My skin was smooth, and looked brighter. Wrinkles were still there, but the 're-plumping' I think happens over time, and patience and consistency is key.

I'd just love this serum in their usual bottle - storage of the pen is just a little inconvenient for how I store my products.

I do like that this serum is suited to my skin type and my skins stage of life, and for that reason, plus the price point, I'd be keen to continue use.

Tips: Store the pen with the product flowing towards the tip. Pat the product into the skin around the fine lines especially. Give the product a minute to absorb before adding moisturiser (I'd do serum, then do my eye serum before moisturiser)

Loreal Revitalift Filler Serum

This is the nicest face serum I have used. It's so light and non greasy so it doesn't leave your face feeling Oily and clogged like other serums and facial oils. I love the pump bottle, it's easy and mess free and stops you using too much. I liked how you could use this alone as well as with the rest of the range and it still made you face feel soft and plump. So if you just wanted a great serum you wouldn't need to buy all four products. I'd definitely consider repurchasing this again

First time using a serum

I have never tried a serum before BUT I am now converted, my skin feels and looks really great. The applicator makes it really easy to apply and not use too much. Even though it's only 16mls it lasts alot longer than you would expect. The product soaks into the skin really well and leaves it feeling amazing. And it comes all in a snazzy applicator and packaging.

Tips: Make sure when using the applicator to kind of swipe it on your skin as you push the button, a few times I tried to apply and had the drops of serum roll off my face. Rookie Error on my part - but you dont wanna waste it.

Hyaluronic Serum

The serum has the highest amount of hyaluronic acid which helps to lock in moisture. You apply the drops with your fingertips from the syringe type bottle. I did find that I needed several drops to hydrate my skin and I did concentrate on my eye and mouth areas where there are lines and wrinkles. In conjunction with the eye cream and moisturiser I have found the lines to not be as prominent. This boosted the moisturisers.

Tips: Concentrate on those aged areas.

Looks like a weapon

Laughing at the packaging of this serum it looks like a weapon to fight the war of wrinkles. Lol jokes aside its fits in well with the revitalift range. The first few times i use it i don't get much out but then i know your not meant to use too much serum, turns out you pretty much need to store it facing downwards or it won't pump any out. Its a bit like a pen affect with the serum coming out the nozzle at the end. A few squirts and your good to go, i use it straight after ive applied the eye cream and before the day or night cream and let it soak in a few minutes. It feels nice and soaks in quickly. I think it works with the regime well but its hard to no at this stage and im not so sure how well? Also not so keen on the fact you can't see how much is left? Will use it till its gone anyway and decide then if its a must have.

Tips: Store nozzle downwards otherwise you'll be pumping and nothing comes out.
