smells good?

The packaging on this product is oh so glam/vintage, i love the gold detailing.

I had the pleasure of trying the Belladonna handcream (pale pink), the smell of this is a smell i would describe as rosy yet something my mother or grandmother would wear, it wasnt an overpowering scent but very girly :)

The product is quite thick, rubs in nicely but leaves quite a greasy feel on my hands and dries them out. i would imagine this is from the fragrance, maybe it reacts differently on different skin types.

I wouldnt purchase this again however the fragrances from the Green(Basil and Grape) and purple (Blackcurrant iris) smell so amazing!!!!

Tips: Dont purchase if you are sensitive to fragrance

Smells devine

As with all MOR product, the packaging is really rather nice, it's easy to squeeze out of the tube and the lid is easy to take off.

I have the Lychee scent, it's absolutely beautiful and for a hand cream it lasts quite well. I like to use it and layer it up with the perfume roller and body lotion to get an extra hit of scent.

Love the fact it's not greasy too!

So far, so good, but, I more than likely will not purchase this again as I find it does nothing to improve the appearance of the skin on my hands. My hands are very dry, and are starting to wrinkle on the top. Most hand creams improve the appearance of this considerably but this hand cream does not. Not even when I've just applied it which is quite unusual. It's a real shame as otherwise it's great.

Tips: Maybe not for you if you have "old" hands

Moisturises ok.

I have used two tubes of this moisturiser. One was a gift from a friend and the other was from either goodie box or sample bar. First off I will talk about the packaging - so beautiful! I mean sure it is only a plastic tube but the colour is so beautiful and elegant, the pink and gold matches very well plus the screw in gold lid makes it look expensive. I feel the packaging makes the product look expensive and classy. I also have it in a small sized tube which is very handy for me, I used it at work so it fits in my pocket all day long. The lotion - it has a pastel pink colour, the texture is very smooth and easy to blend, not oily or rough. You only need a small amount of the lotion and it will be enough to put on your hands and fingers. Unfortunately, I feel the moisturising effect is not long lasting, maybe because I wash my hands all the time but the thing is my hands are very dry because of hand washing and I need this to last a bit longer than what I have experienced. The smell of the lotion is very strong, they say it would resemble a marshmallow scent however in my case, that isn't true. The scent is very fresh like a combination of soap and perfume, it is pleasant however it can be very strong. At first I love the smell but I got over it so quickly, it is over powering and sometimes it reminds me of a granny's perfume. Don't get me wrong I still like the scent at times but it really reminds me of a granny perfume, which I don't know, I feel a bit weird about it sometimes. I like how the lotion does not feel sticky after I apply it. So overall, this product moisturises ok but not long enough and the smell can be both pleasant and not so pleasant.

A scent not liked by all

I like the scent of the Mor hand cream although I seemed to be in the minority when I wore it. I really liked the pink and gold colouring of the packaging and felt inclined to buy the matching tea cup candle. People at work complained about the sweet scent so I ended up wearing it at home instead of work. Due to the negative feedback I felt less inclined to wear it.

Tips: Check that you like the smell before buying this product.

If it was in the soft pink packaging , you must of had the Marshmellow scent . This seems to be a scent people either love.. or hate!

Pretty Packaging, Average Performance.

I picked this up for the packaging. It's pale pink and gold, with delicate detailing to create a luxurious, feminine product fit for a fancy bedside table or designer handbag. Yes, I paid $40 (the larger size) for fabulous packaging.

Now that the packaging is out of the way, what is inside? A pretty standard hand cream, with a not so standard scent. The scent is soft, sweet and girly. Candy floss, vanilla and floral, but actually quite subtle. Although it is sweet and girly, it is nothing like Lush Snow Fairy or other sickly sweet scents. The formula is thin and absorbs easily, however the hydration provided is minimal. The product is pretty but the performance is average.

Unfortunately, I am terrible at remembering to moisturise my hands. So when I do remember, I need it to pack some punch. Therefore, I prefer a more hydrating option. I have another hand cream that I prefer over this one, with a much softer price, so I will not be repurchasing the MOR Marshmallow hand cream. I may however, purchase it as a gift.

Tips: Make the most of this packaging - keep it somewhere that you will see it often.

Lychee Flower

I'm a bit of a hand cream junkie and apply several times a day, especially in winter. I had never tried Mor hand cream before but had heard great things about it. When a 50ml tube was being given away with a magazine earlier this year I quickly snapped it up. Oh how I love a magazine freebie! I decided to op for this in the 'lychee flower' fragrance.

The packaging on this is gorgeous and worthy of being left on a desk or coffee table - bright pink with the Mor design and lettering in gold. The scent wasn't quite what I was expecting. I've never smelt a lychee flower so I guess I was expecting it to smell like the lychee fruit. It is a very fresh smell, that is very uplifting. There is quite a heady undertone to it though so I think this is a smell that might not agree with some.

You only need a small blob of the white opaque cream. It slips easily over your hands and absorbs instantly without stickiness. This is great if you need to get on with other jobs. However I feel like my hands aren't moisturised for long and that I need to reapply frequently. I prefer something heavier that takes a while to sink in but with long lasting effects. This is nice to use during the day when you have other jobs to get on with but I need a heavier cream to use at night.

I enjoyed using this but I'm unlikely to repurchase it. There are other creams that I prefer in this price range.

MORHandcream - Luxury Scent but Not That Hydrating

I scored a bargain on a lovely, brand new tube of this. I loved MOR products ever since I got the body scrub and soap but the hand creams really caught my eye. And since I've become a hand cream junkie I had to add this to my collection. The scent I got was Blood Orange. The scent of this is beautiful there's citrus orange notes at the top and then some floral and sweet ones. It's a bit sweet but the orange and mandarin keep it from becoming overpoweringly sugary. Can we discuss the tube? It's really classy, looks really high-end. Seriously I don't get sucked into packaging much but the tube would add a look of luxury and class to anyone's vanity, beside or dresser. It's this beautiful dark red with a gold cap and the company logo and writing in gold. I almost just bought it to sit on my beauty table next to my candles and look pretty and this says a lot since I've never bought a decorative hand cream before. Candles yes, but not beauty, skincare or body care products. The formula has some great ingredients like sesame seed oil, glycerin and vitamin E which help to make your hands soft. When I apply this my hands smell gorgeous. However this is where it goes from being a fantastic product to not being something I would buy much. I have really dry hands and this doesn't provide enough moisture to suit my needs and the fact that it's a fragranced product doesn't help improve my eczema. It's just a personal thing and I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have a problem with this. But as pretty as it is I need a more functional hand cream on my table for use so I gave my tube away. It does make a gorgeous looking, luxurious gift and looks really high end and classy. Despite me not buying this again for myself I would buy this as a gift for someone else.

Tips: Makes a luxurious, high end looking prezzy for someone. It is a handy size for your purse but with a tube that pretty you probably want to put it on your dresser or class up your vanity. I wouldn't recommend this as hand cream to use overnight as I think a richer and more hydrating hand cream would be more beneficial but if you do like to use it overnight at least you'll have something nice to sniff as you fall asleep.

Gorgeous fragrance

I got the Blood Orange, which I love the scent of, and the dark red and gold packaging looks beautiful. Because I have extremely dry skin, I always keep a hand cream in my bag (and in the car and in every room of the house...), and this compact little tube is perfect for that. But it's because of my dry skin that I can't give this cream five lippies. It's just not hydrating enough for me. It certainly helps, and it feels nice when applied - and smells amazing. But I prefer a thicker, creamier consistency that'll really flood my skin with moisture.

I'd certainly recommend it to a friend with less dry skin though, as it's a lovely, light cream with good, non-toxic ingredients.

Tips: Not for super-dry skin types, but makes a lovely gift.

Belladonna scent

If you want to give a gorgeous gift to your grandmother this would be it, but for me a 24 year old... not so much.

MOR Belladonna handcream comes in a gorgeous box with gold lettering and beautiful coloured flower patterns on each side of the box. The tube it comes in is white with gold lettering and lid again to match the box.

The hand cream inside is just that, a cream. It rubs in easily and soaks straight into my skin. Unfortunately as I wear gloves a lot in my day job my hands need something a bit more thicker to really deeply nourish my fingers and hands. Although it doesn't do that. The scent is pleasant enough and it does last on my hands, it is musky, vanillary, and floral. Perfect for and nana or grandma in your life as this is what the smell reminds me of, sweet and musky. I don't see myself repurchasing these hand creams for myself, but as a gift for someone, due to the luxury packaging and long last scent it would make a nice gift.

Very Fragrant!

I am hand cream obsessed, it is a must in my handbag at all times. The thing about the MOR hand creams are that they look luxurious, they have a gold cap! They also come in a array of scents - the two I have on my desk now are Snow Gardenia and Marshmallow - Snow Gardenia has to be my fave (smells like sweet jasmine tea). It is probably personal preference but I will recommend steering clear of Lychee, it is seriously sweet and in your face, someone commented that it smelt like they had just walked past the Lush store...

One thing I find with these hand creams are that they are not overly moisturising. The texture is quite thick and rich not greasy though but I don't find my hands are any softer after use. I apply it all day long but I still find myself reaching for my OPI avojuice (which make my hands feel so soft). Maybe I've become immune to it since I use it so often!

Anyways, nice to have when you want a bit of luxury and they do smell very nice. They also make very smart gifts, MOR packages them beautifully with their other products as well otherwise you can get a box set of hand creams.
