Garnier Pure Active Intense Charcoal Scrub Review

I have been using this exfoliating scrub for awhile now and I think its fair to say that it definitely is true to its word. The scrub has helped clear my skin from blemishes and blackheads (which I am prone to, especially with daily exercise). My skin looks and feel so great! The exfoliating beads gentle act to scrape away any dead skin cells or sweat/dirt that make be clogging pores, thus helping to clear skin and leave you feeling fresh! Definitely recommend this, especially for those with oily/combo skin.

This scrub is very good. It leaves your skin feeling very fresh and clean. The charcoal does not feel to rough. Overall consistency is gel-like so it is easy to use. The exfoliants leave the skin feeling incredibly soft.

Blackheads - There is a visible difference IMMEDIATELY after using this scrub. The amount of blackheads decreases and remaining ones turn white and become easy to squeeze out using your fingers.

I. Love. This. Scrub. It is my new holy grail, going to repurchase until the day I die, scrub. I have combination, sensitive skin and I usually find that if a scrub doesn't hurt my skin, then it doesn't work. But this doesn't hurt my skin AT ALL and it works. Overnight. I use it 3 times a week because I love it so much.

I'll start with packaging, it's a squeezy tube but I find it's really easy to control the amount of product I get out of it.

The product itself is I believe what is a clear liquid, but it's full of little black scrubbing particles. The reason it attracted me was because I'd heard a year or so ago that charcoal is amazing for your skin and getting rid of acne. The liquid is somewhat thin and the particles are fairly gentle but they definitely work. It smells really natural and clean, not an attractive scent but not a bad one either. Just clean. It lathers up beautifully on my face without drying me out and the particles do their exfoliating and then sort of dissolve into nothingness so that by the time I wash the product off, there's no particles or residue left over on my face. Just a really nice, soft clean feeling.

The next day my skin will look beautiful and radiant and it definitely helps with my dry patches, but also with my acne. It definitely seems to prevent acne and sort of stops it in its tracks. Then if I have any huge pimples, they'll have reduced dramatically in at least 2 days. I don't generally get blackheads, I mostly get whiteheads at this point and it definitely helps with them.

Overall it's a super reasonable price and it genuinely helps my skin.

I love scrubs, and I love cheap scrubs - compared to all my other skincare products, Garnier always comes out the cheapest. It isn't your normal supermarket scrub (that normally doesn't do anything) - it actually scrubs down all your dead skin, and if you scrub more than needed, your face will instantly become red.. but not a dry, scratched up red, but a new skin glowing kind of red. I love using this, but it definitely isn't an every day scrub; would be good to use 3-4 times a week at night before bed. I also didn't feel that it got rid of any black heads.

This scrub by Garnier is my holy grail for my skin! It works so well to exfoliate your skin and clear dirt and blackheads. Before i began using this scrub i had bumps and blackheads all over my chin! This scrub began to clear these up so quickly! The charcoal in the scrub has also helped with my oily skin by decreasing my oil production. I use this scrub everyday and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. I will continue to purchase this scrub forever as it has saved my skin!

I use this product at night time as I use the morning burst cleanser in the morning. This scrub washes the day off my face and leaves my skin feeling soft and blemish free. This scrub has also reduced the amount of oil on my t zone which has lead to less breakouts. The added charcoal works better than their usual facial scrubs! I was worried at first about the little bits in the scrub as I have quite sensitive skin but this product didn't cause me to have a rash, reddened skin or any reaction at all. I love this product! I will continue using it until my skin stops breaking out!

I found that this was good at removing the dry skin on my face and cleaning it also and was gentle on my skin. I found that it didn't remove or prevent me from getting blackheads though which was disappointing

Love the product, I think the Charcoal addition does do wonders to skin. When I did get to try this product I had just broke out into bad acne on my skin so I couldnt wait to try this product out. It scrubs into skin nicely, leaving skin black, can be messy but in my case I just use a small amount. After using I felt my skin feel quite refreshed and hydrated. After 2 washes I found significant results and ended up getting rid of my acne.

I bought this a few days ago my pimples and spots have already dried up. My pores look a little less open.

I love how this is a wash, scrub and mask in one. The texture is nice not to harsh either. Smells nice and my skin feels great after using it.

Don’t get it on your lips though or in your eyes it kinda stings! Whoops

I like this scrub, i like how it has salicylic acid in it as i have oily acne prone skin. My skin is rough and this leaves it feeling much smoother. I would defiantly buy this product again as it is affordable and does exactly what it says. I use it like every 2nd day in the shower.
