Lovely Green designed box, this has an image of a bottle of oil and lavender. Clearly states on the front that it is a Vegan Formula with Lavandin grown in France, for All Skin Types. A Smooth & Glow Facial Oil. One side mentions the Organic, Vegan, renewable, ethical, recycle aspects of the product and packaging, other side mentions three different waste it can be used including as a glow booster into your day cream. On the back is a descriptor about Lavandin Essential Oil, results based info on why the product is different, and a good list of ingredients and their source, with 26% from organic famring, 100% ingredients of natural origin. Bottle itself is clear glass, with a dropper top, 30ml, again with the Lavandin floral image, brand and descriptor on front, a peel-back stick on the back with instructions of use and Garnier contact info. Dropper distributes a nice even drop of the light weight oil, no overpowering strong lavender smell thank goodness, instead its a gently-scented lavandin. Oil soaks into skin quickly leaving a lovely sheen without a oily finish. Having used several facial oils in the past, this one has had the lightest feel, not too heavy or rich, so the balance of coconut, olive, organ, soybean and lavandula oils has been formulated nicely. Several minutes after application skin has a lovely glow, with a nourished, soft touch. I used this morning and night for the first few days, however had a minor skin breakout on both cheeks, so dropped this to a nightly application which immediately stopped any issue. By day 5 my skin felt nourished, softer, and I loved the hydrated feeling of my skin at bedtime.

Tips: A great oil for summer, as Lavender itself can be very good for sunburn. Dropper easily sucks up a full amount, so be careful around this for use.
I've used the Garnier Organics Lavandin Glow Facial Oil the past month or so both on it's own at night to nourish my skin after removing make up, and applying it under my moisturiser in the mornings. It smells lovely, smooths on nicely without being too oily, and I can apply make up afterwards without looking greasy. It really does give your skin a glow and nourished feel!
While the outside packaging is beautiful with a recyclable cardboard box and sold glass bottle, the pipette is a more inferior plastic which doesn't quite hold enough for a single application. Would love to see it changed to a glass one with a little more capacity.
Tips: Use in combination with the eye cream and day cream from the Garnier Organics Lavandin range to keep the scent and boost all the great properties.
I bought this for myself for mothers day and ive been using it ever since. The dropper and glass bottle look and feel quite high end, which for a supermarket brand is fantastic.
The oil is easily dispensed and applies evenly and smoothly on the skin. The smell of lavender is super relaxing and i feel happy when i use it.
Happily it didnt break me out or give me rashy skin or anything. If anything it may have calmed my skin down a little. It absorbs easily too so there's no greasy residue.
Would definitely buy again.
I have always been quite wary of facial oils as I have combination skin and most oils I have used in the past have wreaked havoc in my oily areas, adding to my sensitive skin issues.
Going into this trial I decided to jump in feet first and embrace the facial oil - after 4 days it was break out time! Hello cheek and forehead zits! Sooo, I stopped the full face use and went with using the oil in my drier areas – the side of my nose and chin – its really made a difference! I’m a full face of make up every day girl and often find that make up will cling and look unpleasant in my drier zones no matter how much primer or moisturiser I use beforehand – this has made a difference to how my makeup sits particularly on my nose so it no longer looks patchy!
The packaging for this product is cute in the glass bottle and the dropper is easy to use and distribute product, the smell is quite strong in this whole range of products but I am a lavender fan so this has not bothered me. This is definitely worth a try if you’re wanting to venture into the facial oil world, just take note that a little goes a long way.
I usually find I can only use facial oils on the odd occasion as they are just too oily and heavy for my skin. But I have been using this one daily for a week now and have so far had no issues. I used it a couple of times in the evening and each morning mixed into the day cream. It was really easy and lovely to use and has a pleasant scent. For an oil it is actually very light and doesn't leave a greasy residue after use. It does boast results in just one week but as yet I've not noticed much difference but my face does feel much smoother so I'll keep going and see what it does
Tips: If you're not a big oil user mix a drop or two into the day cream and apply both at once
Facial oils have come and gone from my skincare routine over the years; I find they're a 'nice to have' but not a 'need to have' for my skin. This one falls in the same category and hasn't convinced me that it's an essential.
What makes this Garnier offering different from others I've tried is the Lavandin. I found it a very nice and relaxing way to finish my evening regimen as the scent is great for winding down before bed. It's not overwhelming and settles quite quickly.
The consistency of this oil is very 'thin' and light which means it absorbed nicely without leaving a heavy or greasy feeling. I was able to apply sunscreen a few minutes after the oil which I was impressed with. I imagine it would be even faster if it was added to your mosituriser as they suggest for a quick glow boost.
I can say that it helped to lock in the moisture of the previous layers of skincare and I woke up with nourished feeling and looking skin. I did notice that when applied in the morning, my skin seemed shinier than usual by midday. Maybe a mattifying primer would help?
Overall, it's a nice oil. The packaging is nice and the dropper allows good control of quantity. I also love the organic aspect and the focus on natural and sustainably farmed ingredients.
Since giving birth to my second child a few months ago my skin has been suffering severely, therefore I’d been on the lookout for good skincare products that would help my skin concerns. I was lucky enough to be part of this trial.
The packaging is luxurious, the oil comes in a nice looking, sleek glass bottle and the dropper is nice and long, which will come in handy when there’s less of the product remaining in the bottle.
The scent is lovely like lavender essential oil, which I love and the oil itself is non greasy and has fast absorption.
I use this oil at night and in the morning my skin appears smoother and has a slight glow.
This is not a hydrating oil as I still have some dry patches in my face however it does give you a slight glow.
This is quite a rich oil which would be suitable for dry or mature skin. This is lovely added to a moisturizer for that extra boost. I would use caution around the eye area since it contains lavender.

This comes in an attractive glass bottle with dropper. It has a lovely lavender fragrance. I have tried oils in the past and found this one to be very runny, so had to be careful applying it. A little goes a long way, so you do not have to use a lot. It did not absorb well and left a very oily residue on my skin. I used it on my face, neck and decolletage and was concerned it would stain my clothes. I don't think I would use this product again.
Tips: This might work for somebody with extremely dry skin.
After using this product along with the day cream for the last few days I am loving the results I add a drop to the day cream and it leaves a gorgeous glow to the skin .my skin feels smoother and looks fresher. I love the fact that not only is it organic and great for my sensitive skin it’s Also not greasy like other facial oils . Can’t wait to see the results from further use .
