I recently got this and the effects are still to be seen. I am using this every other night with a facial roller and it does take my skin a while to absorb its I have combo-oily skin so I can’t use this every night. It does have a thick consistency unlike rosehip oil or squalane. It smells nice and herbally too. Have to wait to see the final results

Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil For Combination Skin Review
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil For Combination Skin Review
The Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil is naturally astringent for combination or oily skin. It utilises the principles of aromatherapy and phytotherapy by combining plant extracts and essential oils to help balance the skin. Made from 100% pure plant extracts, this face oil is Clarins’ exclusive blend of Rosemary, Geranium and Lotus extracts, which purify the skin, tighten pores and refine skin texture. Hazelnut Oil softens, soothes and seals in moisture to prevent fine lines and moisture loss. This rebalancing moisturiser for oily skin nourishes and refines skin, leaving it satin soft. Suitable for oily or combination skin.

I really, really wanted this to work for me. I wanted to get on the facial oil boat. People always say that you can still use a facial oil if you have oily skin, but unfortunately, the Lotus facial oil is not the one for me.
You're meant to spread a few drops across your hands and press the oil into a damp face. It feels nice going on but does, obviously, feel like you're putting oil on your face. It absorbed nicely and felt hydrating on the skin but unfortunately clogged my pores and caused breakouts.
Tips: Put a couple of drops of this into your isopropyl alcohol brush cleaner to make it smell nicer and more conditioning for natural hair makeup brushes.
