This product was given to me by someone with sensitive skin who had an allergic reaction to it.
I used this product on my face every morning. It lasted me two months but if I had been more conservative with the amount I applied, it could easily have lasted longer.
My skin type is dry and while using this product, my skin maintained good hydration levels. I almost never experienced any dry patches (and for my skin, that's saying something!).
I love the fact that it has SPF in it. This was convenient and effective. My prone-to-burning face didn't burn all Summer because of this cream.
Overall, I love this product. However, I probably won't purchase it myself because other day cream products in the Nivea range are half the price, and just as effective. I believe the price difference is due to the 'anti-wrinkle' aspect, which does not interest me so is not worth it for me. If you are interested in paying extra for anti-wrinkle treatment, I absolutely recommend this product.
I got the 50ml, Nivea Q10 plus day moisturiser to review over a month ago. RRP of $19.95
First off the packaging is sleek, I really like the inlaid yellow band on the pot. The moisturiser itself is a very light pink, thick moisturiser with a very faint pleasant scent to it.
I found the formula to be non greasy, which was great as quite often the thicker moisturisers can feel heavy and greasy for hours. It goes on smoothly and you don't need much to get a full face covered. However, I have quite dry skin and so cannot say the same for someone with oily-combination skin.
I found that my makeup wears well over the top of it, even without a primer. My last thicker moisturiser tended to make the makeup slip a bit. It absorbs nicely and I don't feel like I have to wait around for ages before applying makeup.
As for the anti wrinkle claims, I don't really have any fine lines yet, so am still testing this claim as I finish off the pot.
My skin type is Dry and extremely sensitive. I have flaky patches that I struggle with, they tend to ruin my makeup which is frustrating. While using this I have definitely noted a big reduction in these dry areas, which has made it so worth it to me. My skin usually reacts to everything and anything, especially with fragrances, but this product has not caused any reaction at all, which surprised me, as eve though it is very faint, there is some fragrance there.
As the weather has gotten cooler, I have noticed some dry areas coming back, so I am thinking that this May have to be a warmer season moisturiser for me, and I'll have to find something else for winter.
For 19.95 this is a nice little moisturiser. I would use it again for sure and have no qualms recommending it to friends.
Tips: Wait at least 10mins after applying it before going over with primer or foundation. Give it a chance to soak in nicely.
