I was lucky to win a set of this. To be honest I didn't have high hopes. Not sure why other than I don't actively see.people raving about it.
Just had to edit it ad today was the first say the sun was out. I got "sunkissed" and it made me realise how important spf is in the winter
The moisturiser comes in a box with a tube inside. I like the lid is flip and it sits on the lid to draw product down. The actual moisturiser is quite thin! I was like oh here we go it won't work or last. Well blow me over with a puff of wind! You only need a small amount. I put a 50 cent size on the back of my hand and it's enough to rub all over my face, neck and the backs of my hands. It's not greasy at all. It soaks into your skin and kind of pumps in hydration. It leaves my skin feeling beautiful and soft. I really enjoy using this.
Now the cost I thought seemed high but using it and seeing how little you use its actually not expensive.
Would I buy it again? Heck yes!
I received some of this when I got Living Nature Sensitive Cleanser and Toner. I personally am a fan of natural and organic skincare so I really am happy when I get the opportunity to try more organic skincare. This moisturizer is light like the Living Nature line is but just takes a tad longer to soak than the Nourishing Day Cream but not by much longer. I've used this moisturizer when I had hayfever and around my nose and cheeks were all red and other moisturizers even those labeled for sensitive skin would sting, this didn't and it was really soothing and non-irritating. The little bit I had lasted me for about a week and a half, so a 50ml tube would've lasted me for months. The ingredients are water, Cocos virgin coconut oil, jojoba esters, avocado oil, vegetable glycerin, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, NZ flax gel, cetyl palmitate, sorbitan palmitate, glucose, xanthan gum, glucose oxidase and lactoperoxidase. So as you see it's a very simple and natural moisturizer and a lot of the ingredients are certified organic. While $38 at the time of this review might sound like a bit, I think it's absolutely worth it especially if you like organic skincare and really want a moisturizer that absorbs quickly, feels light on your skin and works really well for layering under makeup. Plus you only need a bit, so the tube will last you a really long time.
Tips: It's pricey but if you wait till Living Nature has a good gwp you can get more for your buck. They usually do every once in awhile. This moisturizer doesn't have spf but it's so light it goes on beautifully under an spf moisturizer or sunscreen also great under makeup or primer.
