Garnier Clean Sensitive 2-in-1 Makeup Remover Eyes and Face

I had been using the same Neutrogena eye makeup remover for a few years but one day I needed some in a hurry and my staple was sold out at the supermarket.

I have been using this product for about a month and I’m very happy with it. I wear a reasonably heavy amount of black liquid liner daily and I find this does a great job of taking it all off without having to rub too hard. It does leave a slight residue but I normally cleanse straight after removing my eye makeup anyway, so this doesn’t seem like too much of an issue for me.

You get a decent sized bottle for the price and I would have no qualms about purchasing it again.

This make up remover is affordable and has lasted me about a year! It doesn't have a nasty, intrusive scent like some removers I've used have which is nice. I find it removes my eye make up easily including waterproof mascara and duo adhesive which can sometimes be a bit finicky to get off. The bottle is a nice size and I really like that the lid snaps shut so I know if it isn't closed properly and it doesn't seem to pop open easily on its own in my overnight bag. I'd definitely repurchase, I don't see any negative aside of the oiliness which is to be expected but as I cleanse my face after it really isn't a big deal for me.

Although I am not using it right now, this is my favourite eye makeup remover.

There is nothing worse than having to scrub and scrub at your eyes to remove your eye makeup at the end of the day. It's a bit of a catch 22 really, because we all want our eye makeup to stay on all day, but we also want to be able to remove it easily at the end of the day too.

I definitely recommend this product, as my eye makeup is gone in literally seconds when I use this remover.

It is readily available (in most supermarkets) and well priced. It definitely works, and is comparable with high-end removers. I would choose this over high-end any day.

There is no over-powering scent to this, it smells "clean" to me. The formula is kind of cool where you shake it to mix the water-based section with the oil-based section. Even though there's oil in it, it doesn't leave your skin feeling oily at all. Or dry either actually.

Over all, I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone who wears makeup.

What I loved about this was the 2'n'1 idea - one makeup remover for eyes and face. However I found it was hard to get all my waterproof mascara off without scrubbing at my lashes, and as others have reported, I felt that there was an oily residue afterwards. Other makeup removers have made removing eye makeup easier.

This is one of the best drugstore eye makeup removers that i've tried. I've used neutrogena, dr haushka, loreal and olay. This and the neutrogena one are both really good at removing all my eye makeup. I soak a cotton pad and hold it against my eye for maybe 2 minutes and that dissolves about 90% of my eye makeup. I might have to swipe my lashes one more time to get the mascara off the front but most of it is off. It doesn't burn or sting my sensitive eyes. You have to shake the bottle to combine the dual phase removers which I love. Countdown always has beauty sales so I always buy this when it's discounted too. Great value for money and performs very well.

This is a dual-phase makeup remover so although it says it is gentle and suitable for sensitive skin, I still expected it to be able to remove makeup.

I would shake it and pour some onto a cotton pad and swipe across my face - this works for foundation/surface makeup but barely made a dent in my eye makeup and definitely not mascara. This means you really have to scrub at your face to get your makeup off which counteracts the point of it being gentle!

I definitely won't be repurchasing this one.

This make-up remover was a real life-saver for me, even when I was in a theatre production and removing heaps of heavy eye-liner/shadow. I just applied a little to a cotton tip, and even stubborn make-up came off really easily. The dispenser worked really well, and it was easy to get just a little bit out of the bottle without it all spilling everywhere. The two liquids separated quite quickly in the bottle, but it is easy to shake together again, so that's not really a problem. I did find that I usually had to wipe my face clean with water after using it, just so that my skin felt properly 'cleansed'.

I have had my bottle of this for a long time and find it removes my eye-makeup (incl. waterproof mascara) well. I don't have to rub and rub to remove my makeup with this remover but still prefer to use my trusted coconut oil (which is the gentlest method I have found) to remove my eye-makeup. Hence, it doesn't get much use, but when my coconut oil isn't in arms reach this is my go to. I do find I have to soak the cotton ball or pad quite a bit to remove all my makeup and have used better removers, so wouldn't recommend this. But it is one of the more affordable brands so for the price it is pretty good and does the job fine.

I found this to be an above average remover. It did the job well and got rid of most of my makeup quickly, though I had issues with my waterproof mascara. The smell was non-intrusive, which is great as some makeup removers are too intense for the eye area. I would re-purchase, though I do have others which I favour more than this, but for that price, it is a great buy!

This product definitely does what it says, but leaves my skin a little oily after. It removes makeup easily no scrubbing but you have to remember to shake first.
