Tonymoly Tomatox Review

Please tell me Im not the only one who thought this would be a mask that was filled with tomatoes or maybe a tomato sauce mask?

The colour, smell and texture was nothing like what I imagined it to be, here I was thinking it would smell like tomatoes, look red like a tomato and even taste like a tomato? I feel so foolish that my mind played tricks on me like that.

The formula is an off white colour (not red) and it feels like butter, when you rub it onto your skin it feels so soothing, it is lightly scented and it doesn't smell like tomatoes or even near it. When you wait for it to absorb into your skin it feels so relaxing.

Washing it off your skin is a little hard, using a wash cloth in warm water helps remove any excess product.

You wont stop touching your skin, it feels so plump, soft and smooth, kind of like a tomato just without the redness.

Highly recommended to all if you love face masks or tomatoes.

I have dry skin so a hydrating mask like this is exactly what my skin needs.

I think the packaging of this product is adorable! Who doesn't want a cute little Tomato filled with mask goodness haha. Inside this adorable tomato is a thick white cream which when massaged into the skin feels like a sticky heavy night cream. It has a light clean scent and feels lovely on the skin, very hydrating. Once rinsed off you are let with even smoother, softer, totally rehydrated skin! Baby soft!

Would definitely recommend this and would repurchase. Fantastic product, price and results!

I purchased a few tonymoly products online and this was one of them. Cute packaging was definitely the hook for me, but the product is pretty up there a well. The consistency is nothing like i expected, the only way i can think to describe it is as a white grease paint.. It definitely helps moisterise the skin, and makes it feel softer and brighter. I put it on the other night, and accidentally fell asleep with it on, and in the morning my skin was still in my face, and as a bonus it did feel really nice - so I think it could be used as an overnight pack as well.

I have very sensitive skin, and so far I haven't had a problem with any tonymoly products. I think I'll be buying a bunch of both samples and products to give away as Christmas presents as I can't imagine anyone having a reaction to them and the packaging of this range is very cool.

I would consider this range to be the equivalent of say Elizabeth Arden in western terms. Not the best out there, but good quality and the price is more than reasonable.

This packaging is so adorable. To me by looking at the packaging you would think that the actual product would be red, right? Wrong!

The product is a white cream. I have very dry sensitive skin and I tried this out after hearing good reviews about this product. And as usual the reviews were bang on.

This mask left my skin feeling super hydrated and soft. I love this! I will be repurchasing this in the near future. Best discovery ever. This is one of my skincare must haves now. Thanks Tonymoly!

First thing I noticed was the packaging: I love the cute tomato tin, looks so cool in my bathroom and I will use it for bits and pieces after all the product has been used up (like hairbands or earrings).

The product itself is white, not like a cream, more like paint (consistency too), it doesn't really have a scent. It is very concentrated, a little bit goes a long way. It comes with a spatula, so you don't have to dip your fingers in.

I use this product every time my skin gets a bit irritated/red. I use it in the shower/bath, so the steam can work with the product, I massage it into my skin for a minute and leave it on for another 3-5 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. My skin is calmed down, red patches disappear(thanks to niacinamide in it) and my skintone is more even after just one application, it works wonders.

I've never had a reaction to tonymoly products, it is a cheap but good quality brand from Korea. (No wonder Korean girls have beautiful skin.)

If you're new to Korean cosmetics, this is definitely one to pick up and try!!

Like all TonyMoly products, this gorgeous item comes packaged in either a super cute tomato shape or in cute round sample sizes, which are great for newbies or for popping into a travel bag.

Unlike most other TonyMoly products I've tried, this product is pretty much unscented, with a barely discernible smell, which would be great for anyone with allergies or who is sensitive to strong smells. For me, having a great scented product is half the fun of a product, so I would have liked a nice scent to breath in while the mask sits on my skin.

It's a thick white cream that reminds me strongly of sunscreen in the way it simply sits on your skin and doesn't rub in. After massaging it into my clean, dry skin, I'm happy to feel no prickling or itching, though there is a definite warmth to it - kind of a slight warming around the front of my face when I breath,which is not an unpleasant feeling but still a little unusual, almost as if someone is breathing on me with their warm breath.

After leaving the product on my skin for 10-20 minutes (depending on what I'm doing) I then gently remove it. It comes off easily but to be completely honest, I'm always a tiny bit disappointed. Usually when I apply a mask, my skin feels different afterwards. Either sparkling clean, tight and firm or deeply moisturised, depending on the mask, but with this one I kind of feel as if my skin is the same before and afterwards. Yes, my face feels clean and my skin isn't dried out, but that is about it. No earth shattering change or improvement.

I've given this product quite a few goes and although I don't mind it, it isn't anything to excite me. But others have had great success so I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

I have begun to form a collection of TonyMoly products. Initially, I fell in love with the packaging, however, after trialing different beauty regimes lately, the products have me blown away! Tomatox comes in delightful packaging, in true TonyMoly style, the shape of the vege/fruit (lets not get into that debate), the Tomato. After unscrewing this, there is also a plastic protective cover to ensure it doesn't go everywhere, which is great! The mask cream however, does not smell like tomatoes. I can't quite put my finger on the scent, although there is a delightful hint of lemony goodness in there! Obviously easy to apply, as it is in cream form, you wipe/apply over your face. I did notice that as time went by it 'thinned out' as it dried, but did not go stringy, or tight. It washed off easily with warm water and my skin felt silky smooth and very soft all over and seemed to project a bit of a glow.( Not a terrible beaming glow) All in all I was very impressed and it definately is everything I would expect from a TonyMoly product.

I am in love with this product! Firstly, let's discuss the packaging shall we? It's in a pot with a screw top lid but it's shaped like a tomato, how cute is that! It comes with a spatula for those who don't like putting their fingers into pots and contaminating the product. The product itself is a thick white cream, the smell is nice like an everyday moisturiser although it doesn't smell like tomato as I expected. It goes on the skin nicely and is easy to apply and doesn't dry "hard" like clay masks do. I generally leave it on for about 30 mins(coz that's how I roll) before washing it off and applying serum and moisturiser. It didn't leave my skin feeling dry and tight like some masks do but my skin felt soft,supple and hydrated which I loved. I couldn't stop touching my face. I love this mask and will continue to love it probably for a very long time

I was a bit sceptical at first to try this as it looks like sunblock and I'm extremely sensitive to that. But I bought some of this anyway to try it and I'm glad I did.

The container it comes in is just the most delightful thing you've ever seen, well for me it is lol. Its shaped as a tomato and has a screw on lid with a little pop on inner to keep the product in place. However if the lid is not put on correctly, the product ends up leaking.

The first time I tried it, I applied it too much and it started to burn my skin and I started freaking out until the lovely Farmers-wife said I had put it on too thickly. So the next time I put it on, I only put half of it on and there was no burning sensation - phew.

It goes on super smooth and is snow white in colour, its actually quite pretty really. I left it on for the desired time, massaged it in and followed the rest of the instructions.

It comes off easily with a nice clean hot cloth and then just pat dry your skin.

My skin felt so good, so smooth and it looked visibly clearer. I really enjoy using this product on my skin because its so user friendly and feels amazing as long as you don't apply too much.
