Genifique advanced light pearl serum is a lovely product! I've been lucky to review it for Beauty review as it is a luxury product. From the first application I could see and feel a softness and obvious hydration of my eyelids and undereyes, including reducing morning puffyness under eyes.The gentle cooling effect is great when you are tired (or not) and that lasts. From there my eye area just feels soft, comfortable and smooth all day! My fine lines are less visible and a large pale brown sun spot next my eye has lightened slightly. That was an unexpected bonus! I found you do need to let some of the serum drip back into the bottle before applying so as not to overuse it. Then I swiped it across the top of the eyelid and under eye with the dropper and used my ring finger to gently massage it in. You can use the silky soft dropper to do this but I prefer to use my finger so I have more control of the product. Thats just me. I also used any leftover on my top lip for an experiment. I stopped wiping it directly on my eyelashes due to a little bit of eye sensitivity but I am sensitive to eyeshadows and some mascaras so this wasn't surprising. I think the product being quite viscous, that it moves down to the lashes anyway so I still felt the benefit of it as my eyelashes became soft over the time I used it. It is important not to over apply as it does move and you really don't need to overuse it. So although this product is pricey due to being a luxury item I do feel that its worth the money. I have endorsed to my friends who are not easily impressed and they did think my eyes looked great. Enjoy!

This product is like the extra cream on the side - you didn't know you needed it until you tried it and realised you could't live without it. Right from the packaging and the design of the bottle, you feel like you have morphed into another world. It's simple, its elegant, and its a pleasure to use. The product itself has a luxurious feel to it. Once you get the hang of where to put it (all in the very simple instructions) you will end up wanting to using it morning, night and sneakily again through the day. Its easy to apply, absorbs very quickly (literally if you put it on within seconds you can moisturize or start on your eye makeup). Its cool, refreshing and soft as you apply it - thick in a extravagant way - not clunky or thick at all. It has a very gentle fragrance and as you apply you can almost feel your eyes relaxing in and soaking up the pleasure of the product. Certainly several weeks on the area around my eyes feels brighter, softer and fuller. Definitely a rejuvenating product that is a pleasure to use.
Tips: Read the instructions on the box first - and then its really easy!
Very light, very quick to obsorb. My skin felt soft from first use and I noticed pores vanishing after at least the second use. I will continue with this product
I love eye creams but haven't delved much into eye serums - I just figured my actual face serum would do as good a job.
This Lancome product has a cool metal applicator that fits snugly in to the eye contours - its easy and quick to use and seems to apply evenly. I did find it took a bit of practise, especially as I wanted to get it on my lashes/lash-line, whereas usually I wouldn't take a skin care product that close to my eye.
I really did notice a marked difference to my lashes - both in thickness and volume. They look so much healthier and more fuller, its actually quite miraculous. I should say this won't make your lashes grow, but it does fortify and strengthen them.
As for the benefits to the skin on my eye area - it looks brighter and definitely less dark and tired. I have also been using the Genifique facial serum though, so I can't say for sure it's just this one having an impact there - but I wouldn't find it hard to believe!
A great serum to try and a nice bonus of getting a lash and skin product in one!
