Clinique all about eyes

I found this product great its feels really lightweight & absorbs into your skin quickly, I use it morning and night, it's great to soothe tired feeling dry skin around the eyes at night and helps to relieve puffiness and dark circles in the morning. You only need a tiny amount & lightly dab it onto the skin with your ring fingertip.

Tips: Keep it in the fridge to give extra relief for puffy under eye skin. A little goes a long way!

Perfect Peepers

Clinique are very tricksy about giving you lots of free gifts with purchase- that is how I discovered All About Eyes, which I loved so much, I had to buy and now use every day! All About Eyes is a decadent, luscious cream which comes in a small blush coloured pottle with a silver screw on lid. It has no discernible smell which I really appreciate, I would hate to have anything too scented around my eyes! The cream feels more like a gel- it is smooth and silky soft and just melts into your skin. I like to dab it on using my pinky fingers as I was told that these are our weakest fingers, so less likely to damage the delicate skin. It absorbs into skin quickly and oh my goodness, immediately my eyes feel cooler and more refreshed! Best thing after a hard day in the sun or in front of a glaring computer screen! I have been using this cream twice a day for about three months and am only about half way through the jar. My eyes are definately less puffy since using this cream and the skin is considerably less dark after a hard night. All About Eyes is a must in my skin care routine.

Tips: A little goes a long way!

Holy Grail.

When I placed an order on Nordstrom a while ago I purchased a Clinique skin set and this was one of the products in it. I hadn't used this before and, being a huge fan of their moisturisers, I was looking forward to trying it.

The eye cream comes in a small glass jar that feels really well made. The lid is silver and the cream itself is a pale pink.

The consistency of the product is luxe. Like my favourite moisturiser from Clinique, it is a gel formula. I find this extremely hydrating and my skin drinks it in. It has a beautiful cooling feeling when you apply it to your under eye area and doesn't have an scent and nor does it leave your skin feeling tacky or greasy.

Even though the price is a lot higher than what I would ideally want to pay, I will definitely repurchase this when my current jar runs out. This is by far the best under eye cream I have used.

A great birthday gift :)

I had some money for my birthday, and wanted to treat myself to something special. I decided that an excellent under-eye cream was going to be my birthday splurge!

I've fallen in love with Clinique products, so I went to the Clinique counter to see what they had to offer. I wanted to get something that would work on dark circles, lines, and just generally brighten. The Clinique technician recommended All About Eyes.

Right away I really liked the jar - it is a beautiful pink (my fav!) and I also liked that it's in a jar.

The gel is lovely and cooling - it goes on beautifully, absorbs almost immediately and leaves the skin feeling moisturised. It doesn't leave a tacky feeling (like you can get with some gel products) it just feels wonderful and soothing.

I noticed an improvement in my under-eyes after about a week. The dark circles seemed less noticeable, and I didn't notice my make-up settling into the fine lines as much. I've been using this for almost two months, once in the morning before make-up, and then again at night - I'm so pleased with the results.

While this is a bit more than I'd generally spend on an eye treatment, it is money very well spent and I'll absolutely be getting this again.

In the minority but I don't like it

The jar is pretty but that is the only positive for me about 'all about eyes'. Overall I tend to find Clinique great for cosmetics - they produce gorgeous textures and natural looking shades but I just cannot be a convert to their skincare range no matter how hard I try. I was fortunate to receive my jar as a gift but I would have been highly disappointed to fork out the money for this product and have such a poor performing product that my cheap $10 eye gel can out-perform every time. The consistency of this is a gel-crème it is semi-translucent and does feel nice when you put it on. No matter how little I use though it becomes a tacky residue once it dries down as if it doesn't sink in and it just sits there feeling gummy and tacky. It is horrendous to apply makeup over - concealer and foundation don't seem to sit well over it and that is not great. I can't even use it at night as the tacky feeling annoys me and it gives me milia (little white bumps) under the eyes from prolonged use. The next gripe I have with this product is that despite lack of fragrance and it's hypo-allergenic claims is that it makes my eyes sting and water. I am not getting it in my eyes but just having it around my eyes makes them sore. For me personally this product completely defeats the purpose of using an eye product and maybe I just have ultra sensitive skin but it was a huge disappointment for me and I am better just not using it at all.

Not a strong point!

I purchased this towards the end of last year when I was looking for a great eye cream. I went for this one as I find clinique products to usually be very good and very gentle, which was exactly what I was looking for around the eye area.

It comes in a cute wee orange pot with a silver screw lid, matching a lot of their other packaging. The cream itself is a pale creamy/light orange colour and has no obvious smell.

This cream wasn't overly moisturising but definitely didn't wow me and I've since moved on to another product without quite finishing this up. It didn't have any detrimental effects it just didn't really make any difference.

I will not repurchase this item as it did not work for me. (I love some of their other eye products though!)

The best!

I read an article in Cosmo or one of those type magazines about eye creams and this one got a rave so thought I'd try it out. I haven't had much luck with eye creams in the past as I have extremely sensitive eyes and would always get bloodshot stinging eyes. This has been a godsend! I bought the smaller size as I didn't want to invest too much if I didn't love it but I will definitely be repurchasing the larger one. I apply it morning and night and my undereye area has never looked better. Definitely less bags and they feel so soft! It never feels sticky and absorbs so quickly. I apply my makeup over it once absorbed and I find my foundation doesn't settle into the fine lines as much. I've been using the 15ml for about a month and am not quite halfway through the tub. A little really goes a long way.

Tips: Clinique often do a free gift with purchase so keep an eye out and try to time your clinique purchases with a giveaway to get the best bang for your buck and get to try out some more of their products.

So far So good

I was lucky enough to get a small sample size of this eye cream from the Clinique counter. They don't usually do that, but due to my super sensitive skin, and the fact I have spent hundreds over the years that has ended up in the bin because I reacted to them, they made an exception. Even the sample packaging is an adorable mini clinique jar! I love their packaging. The pinky, gel like cream feels cool under my eyes, and it soaks in really quickly. There is no greasy, sticky residue left behind at all, and it feels soft straight away. My makeup is sitting much better under my eyes, it used to look quite scaly, as I was working without an eye cream for some time due to my skin flaring up and reacting to most products. Visually, it has definitely made a difference to my under eye ares. I have very dark circles, they aren't puffy, but tend to be more sunken. While I don't expect any product to be able to rectify these, this product definitely helps to improve them!

There is no strong fragrance, which is good for those with sensitive skin like mine!

The price point isn't cheap, and while I desperately want to purchase this, the cost is a definite barrier. So I will be dropping some hints for an upcoming birthday ;)

Tips: you don't need much of this product, even though it is so tempting to slather it all over your eye are because it feels so damn good :)

All About Eyes

This eye cream really is All About Eyes! Despite my growing love of skincare, eye cream is an area I've always been incredibly inconsistent in. I'm a big fan of Clinique skincare and picked up a small container of this during a promotion, and I am so glad I did as it is now a staple in my skincare routine.

Like most of Clinique's products, the packaging of this product showcases classic simplicity with it's clear jar capped with silver lid. I prefer clear packaging since I like how it's easier to see how much product is remaining.

This pale pink eye cream really is soo luxurious and the best I've tried. The formula is silky and light to touch, not quite a gel but not quite a cream either. It's essentially scentless which is my preference for skincare, fragrance for my eyes is a frill I really don't need. A little dab goes a long and this product just melts into the skin, leaving a soft and dewy finish.

My skin has been a lot drier since the seasons changed and the past few weeks I have bee n using this as part of my evening skincare routine as it's such a nice addition before bed and I love to think of it sinking into my skin and working it's magic. I also use it on mornings when my eyes look particularly puffy and this has really helped make me look more awake and refreshed as it does diminish under-eye circles and puffiness. It's pricier than some eye creams but the delicate eye skin really does need looking after and I see this as an investment purchase.

Tips: If you're unsure on this keep an eye out for Clinique's GWP time and if your local Farmers stocks Clinique, their Beauty Club specials.

Hydrating but no miracle fix for me

I brought this along with another Clinique product to get the GWP (I know!!) but I was looking for an eye cream to save me from blue/black bags and wrinkles.

This little jar of cuteness! is adorable, in a chunky rounded glass pot with a screw on silver toned lid, the design allows you to scoop into the very corners of the almost empty pot so that nothing is wasted. However cute it is I really don't like the whole dip a finger in and apply packaging as I fear I am adding bacteria each time I dip (although rest assured I am very clean and wash before applying)

There is no heavy scents involved here and the product itself is a salmon pink toned gel type, a hybrid between a cream and gel that is absorbs very quickly, which is great as you don't want to be going to sleep with sticky undereyes.

After 3 weeks of applying this every night I found that there was no drastic improvement to the skin around my eyes, the darkness was still there although the bags had receeded slightly as have the wrinkles, which appear as tiny silvery threads now. The whole skin area seems plumped as well which gives a youthful appearance.

I personally think that if you suffer from dry skin under the eyes then this would probably work a lot more effectively as the plumping suggests hydration, I however have oily areas under the eyes (t-zone) so haven't seen the full potential of the cream. So I wouldn't repurchase.
