Beautifully brown and gold box with a plastic corner window arrived – with a great container that matched the name of the product.
The container was really easy to open – even when in the shower, and sealed perfectly to go in my travel bag without wondering if it was going to leak. I loved the fine crystal buttery cream that is really easy spreadable over my face and lips. It melted onto my skin when using little circle movements.
It gently buffed away grime and stickiness from my face and dry lips, while definitely moisturizing at the same time – my skin is very dull at present caused by the 9 hour day spend in a air-conditioned office. The product has a bit of a cocoa butter and coffee smell, not overwhelming, which I really liked.
Little bit of a wake up remedy when used n the morning, which all of us need. You don’t need to use much of the product and a little bit of a scoop motion with my fingers from the wide mouth container really went a long way.
Lately I have stopped wearing makeup to work – just to give my face a bit of a rest during this hot humid days we have been experiencing – and found that days after using the product it felt as if it had softened and smoothed my skin. The longer I have been using it – only a week in and I definitaly feel my skin be softer and more subtle. It is a really esy way to nourish my skin without having to spend hours, which I don’t have, to look after my skin.
I think the scrub has done exactly what it claims to do – it very gently exfoliated and clean my skin while leaving it soft moisturized and left me with a unique facial cleansing experience. Definitely worth spending the money - pretty sure it will last more than a month using 3 times a week and very easy affordable.
After a week of camping, this scrub made me happy with my skin again.
When I read the article about a face sugar scrub I was blown away. It's something I'd never thought about even though using other kinds of face scrub is normal. And I was even happier to see that there were options for people with sensitive skin (yay, it's for me too!).
Starting off with the packaging, I do like the pottle. It means there is no never quite getting all your product out of a tube (especially hard when it comes to scrubs). It looks quite chic and is a different shape to my other face products so is easy to find without my glasses on.
But onto the important part: the product. From the moment I opened it, this scrub smelt divine! It was very tempting to take a bite. But don't do that, because you don't want to miss out on what this does for your skin. The sugar was surprisingly fine and there was a nice amount of cocoa butter to help it move and melt on my face. I did have to use more than I usually would for my normal cleansing face scrub, but there is enough product in the pottle for me to be happy using more, I know it'll last a while. According to the directions you are supposed to gently massage the scrub until the sugars dissolve - this I didn't do on all parts of my face, as I found on my more dry/sensitive spots a shorter time was more comfortable. But a warm face cloth was enough to finish that off. And I guess that's one of the great things about this scrub, you can play with the amount you scrub according to your skin's needs.
After drying off my face I was so impressed, I honestly couldn't stop stroking my own face. (I also got the hubby to feel!) And what's even better is that this has been a lasting improvement. So definitely a huge thumbs up for me!!
Tips: On the box it says you can use it as a lip scrub too... do it. Doooooooo iiiiiiiiiit!
