Good for sensitive skin

This is a really good miscellar water for sensitive skin. I tried it as a facewash and as a makeup remover for three days. It left my skin feeling well-moisturised and clean where most cleansers which remove makeup only do one or the other. This worked really well as a cleanser. It was a fairly good make up remover, but didn't entirely remove mascara etc. However I still suffered a minor eczema reaction around my lips. It's the best product of this type I have tried for my skin but still not quite gentle enough for my extremely reactive sensitive skin. I'd definitely use again and buy again but not for everyday use. I would however recommend this product to friends who have less sensitive skin unless they are specifically seeking a product to remove eye makeup.

Potentially The Next Cult Favorite Micellar Water

When I got invited to review this product I thought ("oh, gosh! not another micellar water on the market") but because it is "micellar water" there is really no risk in testing the product. So why not?

As soon as I got this in the mail I tried it later that day. I was very impressed on how quickly it removed my mascara which is always a struggle for me all these years. It was like love at first wipe. (FYI: I have tested 2 other brands of micellar water and I am still using the other brand as I bought bottles of it) I also love that it has a refreshing scent which I believe is coming from the grape seed oil-- anything from nature should be good for you right?

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great gentle makeup remover that works -- especially if you love putting mascara on you will never have to worry about racoon eyes. ever again.

Tips: There is really no right or wrong way in using this product. You just need a cotton pad and you are good to go. For stubborn eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow) Make sure the cotton pad is saturated enough (not dripping wet) with micellar water. Dab it on your eyes for a few seconds and voila! eye make up gone! :)

better than Garnia

I really liked this Miceller water, I found that it took my makeup off better than the garnier brand. I also found that it worked really well wiping your face with a cotton ball after cleansing as it got off excess makeup really well. I use Miceller water on a daily basis and this will definitely be my go to brand now.

Best Micellar water ever!

My skin is sensitive and easily irritant.

But this product didn't make my skin: - didn't sting - didn't create blotchiness I used three cotton balls to carry out how great it removed my makeup and cleansed my skin: - one to remove my eyebrow pencil , my foundation on my skin, and my eye makeup - this includes thick application of eyeliner and brown eyeshadow. Normally when using other products the black would smudge across my eyes this product DIDNT - it just cleaned and removed my make up. after removing my foundation I could see my bare red sensitive skin again. All three cotton bud were brown and black - full of the makeup reidue. The product did exactly what it said. I would highly recommend this to my friends and family.

I have tried the Garnier Micellar water and Nivea is far more better in terms or - removing face and eye makeup - removing your foundation - doesn't irritate your skin.

NIVEA Sensitive Caring Micellar Water

NIVEA Sensitive Caring Micellar Water comes in a clear bottle with clear liquid inside it. It looks and feels like water, there is no strong smell or any ingredients that could harm your skin. It instantly cleansed my eye make-up (not waterproof) which required no rubbing. When I applied it to my skin, it was only wet for a few seconds before drying up. It moisturised my skin and my redness decreased. I would recommend this product to people with sensitive and combination dry skin.

Micellar Water

I was stoked to be picked for my first trial! I have really sensitive skin and only usually use Trilogy and Antipodes products as I am terrified of a breakout! I used this product over a few days and found It left a film on my face, I still felt the need to have a wash with a facecloth after. I didn't get a breakout however so am impressed by that. I probably wouldn't buy this product as I feel it doesn't do anything that a facecloth wouldn't do.

Does what it says

The Nivea sensitive caring micellar water comes in a decent 200ml size bottle with 12 months use by date from the time it's been opened. I have been using this for the past 3 days now and must say that it does do what it says. It really feels like water and doesn't really have any smell to it,quite easy to get my foundation of without any hard rubbing. I did notice that this didn't really leave my skin looking red which most makeup removers usaually does for people with sensitive skin. This Doesn't leave a greasy or oily feel on the skin but at the same time didn't make my face feel dry either. I didn't have to wash or tone my face after use, as it says on the bottle. However I did find that it did take a little bit more effort to remove my mascara and eye liner completely but I do wear heavy eye makeup so that is expected. A good product that does what it says , I would recommend to others especially if you like to come home remove your make up and relax and not have to worry about washing your face and moisturise till bedtime.

Tips: Worked great for correcting eye liner smudges as well. Just drop a little on a Q tip and wipe away without ruining the rest of your make up.

Good, but won't become my daily cleanser

I tried using the micellar water at morning and night to clean my face (one of the recommended uses for it). I have sensitive skin so was glad it didn't sting when I applied it - and my skin did feel hydrated just after using it.

However, over the course of the few days I tried the product, I found that my skin was generally drier than usual, so I won't be making micellar water my daily cleanser (the bottle claims to improve symptoms of sensitive skin such as dryness and redness - but I didn't find this happened for me)

I did like using it as a makeup remover though, and it even works to remove mascara - so I'll definitely keep using it in this way as I feel more comfortable putting this on my face than a harsher remover.

I also imagine that this would be a useful product for travel (and the lid snaps on firmly so there's no way you'd spill it in your bag)

Tips: You can use it on a cotton bud to fix up makeup mistakes too!

Sensitive soul seeking nurturing relationship

With skin so sensitive I've been hospitalised after an eye cream disaster, finding a cleanser gentle enough to not bring me out in blisters, but strong enough to remove a smoky eye is a tough ask. This little beauty does it. Actually reducing facial redness (perhaps my previous cleanser was aggravating my skin minimally without me realising) and cleansing even the most waterproof of mascaras, this baby will be in my trolley again.

Tips: Pop it in the fridge so that when you use it on your eyes to remove makeup it is cool and refreshing. Great for the morning after a late night out!

Micellar Water

First impression: This product has a very pleasant smell to it, you do sometimes get the products that smell a bit like old feet. Nivea's Micellar Water has a very pleasant smell, that lingers a short while after use, which I do not mind at all!

The product itself does advise that it "effectively" removes make-up. However, I found that it was fairly sub-par in that aspect. It made the eye makeup fade a little, and I had to top it off with regular make-up remover.

I have used this for a few days since I got the product, and it has made my skin feel much softer and less red than it usually is.

Overall, I will most likely continue to use this product until I'm out of the current bottle, but after that most likely would not go out of my way to find this product in stores.
