I got the chance to review Nivea Sensitive Caring Micellar Water. It's beautiful, it's light, feels like a dream and is perfect for removing the makeup and grime of the day. I have very sensitive skin and most cleansers make me red and blotchy and dry my skin, and this one has kept my skin flawless. Highly recommend to anyone with sensitive skin. It's truely a dream.

Tips: Don't use paper towels like me, definitely use makeup pads and it would feel like a silky velvet cloud.
My skin is sensitive and easily irritant.
But this product didn't make my skin: - didn't sting - didn't create blotchiness I used three cotton balls to carry out how great it removed my makeup and cleansed my skin: - one to remove my eyebrow pencil , my foundation on my skin, and my eye makeup - this includes thick application of eyeliner and brown eyeshadow. Normally when using other products the black would smudge across my eyes this product DIDNT - it just cleaned and removed my make up. after removing my foundation I could see my bare red sensitive skin again. All three cotton bud were brown and black - full of the makeup reidue. The product did exactly what it said. I would highly recommend this to my friends and family.
I have tried the Garnier Micellar water and Nivea is far more better in terms or - removing face and eye makeup - removing your foundation - doesn't irritate your skin.
I really liked this Miceller water, I found that it took my makeup off better than the garnier brand. I also found that it worked really well wiping your face with a cotton ball after cleansing as it got off excess makeup really well. I use Miceller water on a daily basis and this will definitely be my go to brand now.
I've never used a Micellar Water before, didn't "get" it and didn't really understand the hype.
I generally like to cleanse my face in the shower also which this is not really formatted for, so I also needed to change fundamentally what my cleansing behaviour is.
The product comes in a generous plastic bottle and smells like..well...nothing really. It looks as the name would suggest, exactly like a bottle of water.
You need to use the product with some cotton pads and you dampen the pad with the product and then apply it to your face...and WOWZER!
I have never seen so much dirt and grime come off my face..and so easily. A couple of wipes and I was done. No stinging of the eyes and my skin felt super clean and moist so it doesn't dry your skin out.
I can tend to be a bit lazy about taking my make up off at night..no longer with this baby on hand. It's just so easy (and quick to do)! I love it and i'll definitely be repurchasing when this bottle runs out.
Tips: BR has written a number of really cool articles about how multi faceted this product is..you can use it to clean your Make Up brushes and a whole heap of of other things!
As others have mentioned, you can pick this up at The Warehouse, I was lucky enough to get it when they had buy one get one free!
The bottle is still going strong and this was a couple of months ago, you get a decent amount of product and Nivea is always a good price anyway. I liken it to Garnier but definitely less harsh.
This product does everything it says it will.
I bought this micellar water to try when my Garnier bottle ran out, and so far (after 1 week) I can't tell much difference between the 2 - both are fragrance free and don't irritate my sensitive skin. However this one has castor oil in it which is known to help with hair growth and health, so when I use it on my eyelids its also nourishing my eyelashes. I also think my skin is a little less dry. For those reasons I prefer it over the Garnier, and in addition its a bit cheaper!
Tips: Soak cotton pad thoroughly
This is a price-friendly micellar water, often on special at supermarkets. I have sensitive skin especially around the eyes, so this really does the job by not irritating my eyes and cleansing my face of all make-up as well. I got the 400 ml bottle which lasts for ages. Grape Seed Oil and Castor Oil for longer eyelashes is a bonus. Non-drying and makes skin feel cleansed but moisturised.
Tips: Use a cotton make-up pad and wet thoroughly, this will do your whole face and neck.
I adore this product. It offers a unique freshness to your skin. You can also remove any leftover makeup with the product. Nivea has outdone itself with its Micellar water. Use it early morning and before going to bed.
I was excited to get this for a trial, as I'm always looking for gentle, easy-to-use cleansers on my sensitive skin. Note - my skin isn't *extremely* sensitive, but does react with rashes and redness to certain products, but it didn't to this one. Which is great! I usually use a BB cream and mascara during the day, and this product seemed to remove these well. However, when I wore more makeup - primer, foundation, bronzer, highlighter, and eyeshadow, + water proof mascara with non-smudge lipstick in the evening - it took a lot more work to get them off with the Nivea Sensitive Caring Micellar Water. It still worked, but it just took more time and extra applications. I ended up using a cleansing towel afterwards to get the excess off. However, for a quick and easy end-of-the-day light make up removal, it's fabulous, non-irritating, and left my skin feeling clean and soft afterwards.
Tips: If you want to use it on heavier make up, I recommend using a cleansing towel afterwards to ensure any excess make up is removed.
OK so when I got this, I was skeptical, as it does, literally, look like water in a bottle. I opened it up and smelled it, there is no chemical smell whatsoever, good start. I took off my face makeup first, I could see it was working already, then for the real test, the eye makeup. My eyeliner came off in one swoop, but it took a few more passes to remove my mascara, then I waited for the tightening of my skin...there was none! No irritation or tingling whatsoever, I was so pleased. This is so much better than other cleansers I have used in the past, I thought the best way to remove makeup was good old warm H2O and a facecloth, but now I stand corrected. I will definitely be using this from now on, bonus points for being available at the supermarket for a good price.
