Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

I love this stuff when I can't be bothered fully washing my face at the end of a day. Instead of having to go to the bathroom and scrub my face clean I keep a bottle of this on my dressing table with some makeup cottonpads and use it if I havnt really worn makeup before. It dosnt tend to break my skin out (it has left me with little bumps once or twice) but I still love that you can use this stuff without having to wash it off with water afterwards.

The Garnier Micellar Water is great for getting rid of my make up at the end of the day. I love how easily it removes my eye make up and my base. It's great for removal BUT it isn't a cleanser - you definitely need to cleanse after

So unless it foams or can be activated with water - cleaners of the non-foaming variety have never been of much interest to me BUT then I was sent the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - and I can honestly say it does what it says it will! I've been using it for the past 5 days and at night to see if it takes off my makeup AND cleanses - I'm happy to report it does! I've used it to take both mineral powder and liquid foundation (just to be sure) and I was really pleased at the way my skin felt afterwards - no tightness or dryness and my skin felt really really clean. I will be buying this again!

At first sight and smell, it seemed just like real water which I was surprised by. It's so simple to use too which I was happy about because I had never heard of micellar cleansing water before, so it seems like a great basic product to have if you're not into using multiple fancy products to remove your makeup/the day's grime. Just squirt some onto a cotton pad and rub your whole face, but there is no need to wash it off after (which I was reluctant to at first). It dried quickly and my skin felt smooth and like there was no product on it at all, just like REAL water. I didn't get any breakouts from using this product which is great because it shows that it really was cleaning my skin.

Fabulous stuff! I usually wash my face using the oil method (oil breaks down oil - i use sweet almond - really is amazing, i highly recommend). This product was a great alternative, although i did find myself going through the bottle quickly as is spills out fast. Did sting a few times slighty, but overall works really well!

I got this to review just in the nick of time - I was immobile for the week of my trial and so, the conventional methods of cleansing my face weren't open to me in the evenings so this became my way of cleaning off the warpaint before bed as I could do it, from bed.

It took four cotton pads/applications to get a full face of colourstay fabulousness from my face and this didn't even break me out. I even used some that was left in the final cotton pad to give my blending brush a quick clean between dark colours, ready for the next morning. It also helped to lift the foundation that had embedded itself into my powder brush.

If you own NARS blushes/bronzers, you know how manky the black compacts can get and I just used a bit of this again to give them a clean and bring them up like new!

Mascara transfer above the eye? a dot with a cotton bud and some of this removes it easily without damaging the look of the day too badly as well.

Favorite way to remove makeup. Takes a couple of wipes to get all the makeup off but so easy to use and I love how gentle it is.
