Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

This is one of those products that I actually like for a differing purpose it is designed for!

It did not work so great for makeup removal for me - it still required a bit of scrubbing to get my mascara off. It was lovely and gentle and didn't react to my skin which is a definite plus. But it didn't do anything amazing to my skin; nothing bad, but nothing good either.

What I actually really like this product for is washing my makeup brushes! It is a gentle cleaner for removing makeup off my brushes - better than water alone and not as harsh as soap or shampoo. It is for this reason that I would buy this product again (a cheaper alternative to makeup brush cleaner).

On opening the pink lid & writing caught my eye & stands out.

I have been using for a few days now.

The product is clear & just as it says like water. There is no smell & it is refreshing to use. It leaves a very faint tingling sensation so you know you have used something but does not sting at all.

Overall it works but I do think that you do go through the process a number of times with your facial cotton pad wipes in order to remove makeup / dirt residue completely as opposed to when you just jump in the shower & use a cleansing scrub.

The plus side is it did make your skin feel clean & refreshed & I like that it was natural just like water...

Found this lovely and refreshing on the skin. No strong fragrance and left the skin feeling great. Only down side i found was i needed to use quite a few wipes to get off all my makeup and struggled with my eye liner removal.

This product was good in the ways of doing what it says it will do. The only problem that I found with this product was the way that it had left my skin after use. My skin didn't react very well to it and it caused me to have an outbreak. I do have oily skin so this may have been the only problem. Other than that I would definitely buy this product again.

This product is gentle around the eye area and on the skin and is non drying. I prefer the oilier versions of this product. Although it does a fairly good job at removing makeup. I found it takes a lot longer to break down makeup like, water line eyeliners and mascara than other formulas of this product. I have tried this product recently I wouldn't buy it again. It just doesn't work well with the types of makeup I do but if you're one of those people who does skin tints or bb creams then this is for you.

While I did use this product a lot in my 20s when I was partying and had heaps of late nights I no longer use as I believe there are better make up remover products on the market now. This is good if you're out late and just want a quick way to take off make up however skin does not feel nourished after. Does the job it says it will but would not recommend for over 30's, we need anti ageing properties in our skincare.

This product was fantastic for removing make up. I didn't find it did much as a cleanser. Highly recommended for properly cleaning your face, especially after a night out with heavy eye make! It also didn't evaporate on the cotton pads which some eye make removers tend to do.
