CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser

Typically I get hormonal breakouts from time to time so don't have a great amount of blemishes and my skin is fairly normal mostly. I used this gel to foam on my damp skin with about a half pump from the handy dispenser. I love a product with salicylic acid and this contains 2%. It lathers up well and gives a great deep cleanse. I know this as it removed my daily make-up perfectly as when I toned afterwards, there was no residual make-up left on the cotton ball I used. My skin felt so clean afterwards and not dry at all. For around $25, dermatologist developed and made in France this is a very affordable top quality Cleanser.

This gel to foam cleanser has 2% salicylic acid, hectorite clay for blemish control, niacinamide to smooth and calm the skin, plus ceramides to balance the skins natural moisture barrier. It has a slight earthy scent which I didn’t at all mind (I figured it must be the clay). When I first used it I was impressed that it didn’t leave my skin dried out like most cleansers with actives in them. It actually felt balanced on my combination skin and I’ve been using it daily so far for the past couple of weeks.

I would say this is absolutely perfect to anyone who has oily to combination skin or even gentle enough for teenagers to start out.

I have been using the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser for a few weeks now. I really enjoy how clean and fresh the cleanser makes my skin feel after using it. It helped reduce the size of a couple of my acne spots, however it did not clear them up entirely. Overall it is a good product and I would use it again in the future.

Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this cleanser. I have never used anything from CeraVe before but had heard amazing things about a few of their ranges. This product arrived at the right time as I was breaking out a lot. Like all CeraVe cleansers it comes in a plastic rectangular container with a pump. The shape works well as it doesn’t take up too much room on my shower shelf and the pump makes it easy to dispense without making a mess. The product itself is a white gel like texture and foams just enough to make your skin feel clean without drying it out. While I haven’t noticed a huge decrease in oil production it does leave my skin looking smooth and I have thoroughly enjoyed using this cleanser. It is definitely the best cleanser I have tried at this price point . I would definitely recommend this cleanser to anyone with oily , acne prone or combination skin.

The CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is a great product if you suffer from blemish prone skin.

The first thing I noticed about the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser, when I used it for the first time was that it was fragrance free, which is huge positive for me, as I personally prefer products that have a mild or no fragrance.

I have combination skin, so for me a product in my skincare route with salicylic acid is a must. I have been using this Cleanser for a couple of weeks now. This Cleanser has 2% Salicylic Acid, and I found it effective at both clearing up the small pimples I had on my face, and also preventing new ones from appearing. I found the formula to be gentle yet effective. I have sensitive skin and did not have any irritation. It also did not dry out my skin like other products can.

I love the packaging. It is aesthetically pleasing and has a luxurious look/shape to the bottle. I really enjoy that the Cleanser has a pump which is very convenient. I found that one pump was the perfect amount, so there isn’t any wastage. The Cleanser comes out as a liquid and foams up a bit as you rub it into your skin. I used this product in conjunction with the CeraVe Blemish Control Gel.

I was really impressed by the overall performance of the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser, and in particular how affordable it is. You get a decent amount of product for the price. I will be repurchasing once my bottle is finished. I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with blemish prone skin.

first I have to say I don't like cleansers where you wash your face I use ones that use a cotton ball or pad so was hard to get into using but we got there. I have sensitive skin and get allergic reactions to lots of products but none with this so a bonus my skin felt nice and soft and clean after use unfortunately this arrived whilst I had no acne so can't review how it worked for that. no strong smells or irritation liked that. I have quite oily skin and this helped it feel less oily... I would use again probably not daily but a couple of times a week or if I have a breakout don't need much so we'll worth the money as it'll last

This cleanser has your skin in mind. It doesn't seem to strip away the natural oils in your skin as do many blemish control cleansers. I didn't feel like my skin was squeaky clean, which I was really pleased about. I feel like this is the type of cleanser that I could use all the time as it's not stripping my natural barrier. I love that it includes ceramides to help keep the skin moisturised, as I have some quite dry parts on my skin too. The gel has a nice feel about it and is really clear. It goes on really nicely and feels really gentle. I love the little pump bottle, which makes it so much quicker and easier to use, especially in the shower. After using this product for some time I noticed that my skin was losing some of those little bumps and was starting to feel a lot smoother. No blemishes either, so perhaps it was preventing them from even thinking about starting. This product worked really well for my skin and for the price it would be definitely something that I would purchase again. I'd also like my daughter to try it to see if it works for her.

I have combination skin which gets a little oily throughout the day and mild acne, this cleanser is gentle and doesn't dry my skin out. It's clear in colour, has no fragrance and the pump is handy and easy to use. I used the cleanser morning and night and I could feel and see the difference in my blemishes. Available online for a reasonable price. I would recommend this to others as a trusted brand and good quality product.

I love this cleanser. I had a couple of small active breakouts when I started using this, and I really noticed the difference between this cleanser and my usual over the next couple of days. The consistency is what you know and love from CeraVe, and I found that despite it being a blemish control cleanser, it wasn't super harsh or drying which I appreciate as my skin can lean sensitive sometimes.
