Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion Review

I recently took the 2 week challenge using the Aveeno cream and OMG my skin is beautifully soft and supple. My hands and feet are so nourished now. I love the pump bottle as it delivers the right amount of cream and how it is unscented, it doesn't interfere with your favorite perfumes. I really did notice the difference in my skin after the first day of using this and it made me want to use it more. You only need to apply it once a day as it does last the full 24 hours and easily absorbed into your skin for fast effectiveness. Excellent for those really rough areas of your body, feet and elbows. For a super market product this gets a big thumbs up in my household. The bottle is quite big so it lasts along time too, an added bonus. It can be quite dare if purchased from a chemist so I wait until it's on sale at countdown or pac N save and buy a few bottles. A great family product.

Yes, the brand that uses the beautiful Jennifer Aniston to promote their products, and honestly good move Aveeno, because the possibility of having skin that looked half as good as Jennifer Aniston was a strong push for me to purchase this product. Yes I fell for the old ‘use a celebrity to get people to buy your product technique’.

I am a sucker for packaging and frequently will buy something just because of how it looks. Clearly this was not the case with Aveeno Daily Moisturizer, which comes in a white plastic container, with a white and green colour theme. Simple design, and not really aesthetically pleasing, and definitely not a product that supports an impulse cute purchases. However, I love the fact this packaging uses a pump technique to release product. Perfect for those mornings when I’m in a rush (...every morning).

The product, although says fragrance free, does contain a subtle fragrance of oats and I’m not a huge fan of the scent, I find It slightly catches in my throat (but I am very picky with scents) and it does linger on your skin for a while.

The lotion is thick for a lotion, and easily holds it shape. It’s white in colour, with a slight creamy consistency, but nothing overly rich. I find this lotion is hydrating and nourishing, and a little goes a long way. In fact, too much product leaves a sticky residue on my skin, so less is definitely more. With consistent use, I found that my skin remained hydrated for longer, and that i didn’t have to moisturise as often, so yes Aveeno does what it says it will! However, I am also a sucker for products that smell delicious, especially when it comes to body moisturizer, butters, and lotions, so I’m still undecided whether ill be repurchasing this one again!

This is a moisturiser where you really see a result after the first day.

It’s lovely and creamy with a oat smell and handy pump so you can even use it in a rush.

Over the years its always been reliable and works well on my own skin which isn’t that dry but also well on my husband’s skin which is extremely dry.

Being versatile and family friendly is great for a moisturiser.

After trying some of my friends Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion it felt really good on my skin so i went out and brought my own. Im not sure what is different between mine and hers but i was very disappointed with it. It feels heavy and sticky on my skin. It does make my skin feel good by the night. i have found that before i usaed to have dry patches on my skin which have since gone with using Aveeno.

So sad this didn't work for me. I felt like I needed to follow up with another moisturizer after using this as my skin is really dry. It is quite a thin cream, I would have preferred a thicker consistently to feel like I was getting more coverage and longevity.

The Aveeno Daily Moisturising lotion works amazingly on sensitive skin. It leaves your skin feeling lush, smooth and hydrated. I have random issues with some moisturisers where my skin gets irritated without warning. So i was a little hesitant to try this one but it worked out brilliantly. No irritation just nice smooth skin.

I really love this moisturiser especially in the winter months when my skin gets exceptionally dry,

I find if I use this product everyday it really helps to keep my skin hydrated and soft.

Its a creamy consistency and glides easily onto the skin and absorbs quickly. It doesn't leave a sticky residue.

Comes in a handy pump bottle, so no worries about squirting too much in your hands.

Has a lovely pleasant smell also.

Highly recommend to any one with dry/sensitive skin.

This is my basic go to moisturizer. It is really great if you have really dry skin like I do. It rubs in reasonably fast and has phenomenal results as long as you apply it religiously. It might be a little thick, but the results are worth it

Aveeno is the go-to product for sensitive skin and it really does work. I like the inclusion of the oatmeal and other natural ingredients. Aveeno is recommended by doctors so you know you can trust it. It's non-greasy and absorbs well but really does keep your hands well moisturised. I just don't like it for my face! Not quite moisturising enough for my super dry skin.
