Manicare Microneedle Derma Roller

I'm a sucker for a beauty gadget, especially one that makes you say, 'uh, really?' when you hear about it.

The idea of rolling my face with needles to look younger definitely made me say 'uh, really?' so I knew one way or another, I'd be trying one. Enter Beauty Review!

This comes with a handy little storage case, which is good because you're not meant to drop this and the idea of those little needles picking up dirt and pushing it into your skin is a bit repulsive!

It's easy to use and although I found the instructions about what pressure to use a bit vague, it's actually fairly intuitive once you get rolling.

I didn't mind the rolling sensation or the tingle after. Definitely watch what you put on your skin afterwards though - stick with something hydrating and gentle, you're not going to want to layer an active like Retinol on after needle rolling!

I've built up to 4 strokes in each direction, and I honestly LOVE needle roller night. IT feels good and I wake up with soft, supple skin that has a glow. Who doesn't want to wake up glowy?

I had a look for pricing and 40$ seems steep for something you're going to have to replace every three months, BUT you'd so pay more having regular salon treatments right?

I think this is an easy step-up to slot into your skin care routine, and it's super effective, so full marks from me.

I got one of these in the vault (yay!) And used it the same night. Its fab!

I use it straight after washing my face. It doesn't hurt, which i was a bit worried about, even accidentally pressing down, it just feels.. nice actually.

I use it length ways, up and down, and then diagonally both ways as suggested on the box, which ive since thrown out, and i use it twice a week. I dont feel any discomfort after use, which is also a bonus.

It works in the moment. I see visible plumping and reduction of fine lines. Its AWESOME!! The following day its less noticeable but man my face is so unbelievably soft. Its amazing. Ive also had less breakouts since using.

I do a slightly different skincare routine after, which involves retinol but there was also no discomfort there. Id gladly repurchase!

Really nice little tool. I use this 3 times a week. Painless, and really feels like my skin is more plump. I think this also helps my serums work better. Definitely recommend.

I used it every night, after doing the Chris cross and up down pattern I think put on HA serum, in the morning my skin looked plumper, as the week went on just looked better and better. The cleaner that came with the roller has a lovely smell, gave my roller good spray after each use and popped it back in secure case. No pain with the roller as it’s not going deep into skin, just make sure you have cleaned your skin free of makeup and creams before hand

In February 2021, my skin clinician advised me to buy Derma roller. I was sceptical of bruising my skin and breakouts. But when I read the BR article about Manicare Microneedle Derma roller, I raised up my hand and was excited to receive it and start using. Manicare Microneedle Derma Roller came 3 weeks ago. It is well packed in the curvy plastic case and the after-use sanitizing is super easy and quickly dries to pack the roller away for next time, which is very important after use step. Over the last 3 weeks I used roughly 3 times a week. The first time i followed the instructions, I was still figuring out the best way of rolling it on my skin in different directions without extra pressure. It becomes hard not to apply pressure while rolling, but you get used to in next few times and start using it exactly how fingertips are rolled (not surely that feeling) on face.

For skin to sink in the benefits of skin care products it is best to use before sleep.I got used to the painless microneedles rolling over my skin at 4th use. I use a regular gel face wash, and starting rolling from my forehead sections, both side temples, both Cheeks, nose sides and top rail, upper lips, chin area and neck area just below my chin. I rolled the Derma Roller side-to-side 2 times, up & down 2 times, diagonally 2 times. I did make sure to cover all areas on each section of my face and neck plus the hyperpigmented areas (areas of concern on my forehead and cheeks) were worked on exclusively. I also exfoliate my skin every week to let the skin care products and derma roller work effectively.

Right after use, I apply my 2 night skin care serums followed by night cream. This allows the needled parts of skin to soak up the serums. I could see a change in my skin 2 weeks ago, with a glow with pigmented areas starting to fade, and my skin feels smoother too. I have scars on my cheeks from breakouts years ago. Along with those changes, using the Manicare Micro needling Derma Roller never caused any redness on my skin. When I woke up every morning from nights of using the roller and even when I did not use it (days when I did not use it, as I used 3 times a week only), my skin felt plumped and cared for.

I love myself and I love taking care of myself. I will continue using the painless derma Roller now for sure. This is a part of my skin care routine 3 times a week. I have recommended this to my sister and few friends who have skin issues. It delivers great results. I will continue using to get more out of this for sure. It is so crazy that the microneedles work at home, if used with care on your skin, same as visiting a professional skin clinic. Saves so much money! Amazing! Thanks so much for the opportunity to review this both myself and my husband both used it and have both found it quite good so we will continue. It’s nice and light weight and fits well in your hand with the roller having tiny little needles that are very gentle when you roll it over your face and neck. I found the instructions on the box easy to follow and I used the roller in all directions on my head abs neck. Using it every second night I did find I had a little bit of redness and I could really feel my serum soaking in so will have to get some more serum. I have noticed some of my fine lines seem even finer if that’s possible lol I think it will continue to use it and I believe you can buy replacement heads so I think it would be a good tool to have.

I was nervous to use this product thinking it might hurt my skin. In actual fact it was not hurtful at all. I found the product easy to use and followed instructions carefully. By using it 3x a week I noticed a great change in my skin appearance. My skin was not so red as normal and it made my skin seem brighter over the period of using it. I did struggle to use it under my eyes, but working it on my cheeks and forehead was super simple and did have great results. I did it at night time after I cleansed my skin. So I would feel a tingle in my skin about 10 mins after use and this is when it must have been doing its thing!!! Brilliant product for me, will use all the time. Didn't take much time out of my day either, very quick process.

So this strange looking needle roller might actually be the secret to great looking skin!

I've been using this for about 3 weeks and I think my skin has improved quite a lot in that time.

It doesn't hurt to uses it, in fact the rolling doesnt really feel like anything much at all. Afterwards there is a definite 'feeling' - its not a sting, not a tingle, just a sensation that something has been stimulated.

I've been using this in bed, and immediately slathering my night serum on -I really think it's boosted the serums effects and I feel like my skin is smoother and brighter, and a lot more even in tone.

I'll continue using this happily and likely repurchase in 3 months!
