I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I am liking the results. My skin tone seems to be evening out and I am finding that I am not having to use as much foundation as I used to. The one thing I must say though, being that I have a darker skin complexion, it seems to be lightening my actual skin tone.
I have been using this in conjunction with the Youth Code Luminosity Day Cream.
I am 37 years old (so just fall out of the age range of this product) and have normal to dry skin.
Tips: You don't need to use much. A little goes a long way!
I used this serum with the luminosity moisturiser and found my skin was very hydrated, even and bright. However it didn't fade my freckles at all! But they're pretty stubborn so I don't really judge it too harshly regarding this! The packaging is very nice but like a lot of other products, I really dislike not being able to see what product is left! Regardless I really love the youth code luminosity range!
Tips: Like most serums I like to pat them into my skin rather then rub.
I had dark patches I was wanting rid of and I was offered a very expensive series of products which I was reluctant to try as they contained very very harsh ingredients. Only after asking about cheaper alternatives was I told about this glorious product. I had seen it on the tele so I already had in my mind that I wanted to give it a go. Well that night I applied it and by day two the difference was very noticeable (I was very impressed), however the results only went so far and after a few months of use was not seeing any changes and my skin was rejecting the serum (would rub off immediately after application). I will be looking at trying again as the first lot of results were amazing!
I used a sample of this serum and it felt fabulous on. It soaked in quickly and felt lovely, with a high-end subtle fragrance too (the smell is one of my favourite parts of any skin product, I don't like fragrance free!). It did not detect much if any alcohol which is good. In the morning my skin looked calm and rested, and a good colour (sometimes I wake up red or blotchy :( )
Tips: Get on special when Farmers or a chemist has a L'Oreal sale
I really enjoyed using this paired with the day cream from the same range. It makes my skin feel wonderful, however I don't know if it did exactly as it claimed with dark spots but it definitely made my skin feel hydrated and smooth. It has a nice scent too and is one of the few serums I've fully used up in a long time, I really liked it!
I love this product, you only need a small amount, and it absorbs so easily into my skin, and really makes it so soft, and takes away any dryness. I'm currently using this morning and night. Its a really great skin smoother, love it!
I started using this serum under a moisturiser for extra hydration in winter. Not only did the product plump my skin, it is now softer and more luminous. My moisturiser goes further and it works as a great base for foundation. It also smells lovely and soaks in quickly.
Tips: Use on its own in summer or if your skin is prone to oiliness.
This serum was lightweight and felt really nice on my skin. Even on the 1st application I thought my skin felt different in a good way. It plumped it up a little and made it feel soft. After a week of using it I did notice that my skin looked and felt youthful.
Tips: Don't get it in your eyes.
I have oily skin and this serum was just too slippery for my skin. It just made my skin look oily and greasy and definitely not luminous. I have red skin and acne scars and it did not reduce the appearance of these.
I did try it under my foundation as well but my make-up was slipping and sliding everywhere within an hour.
This is definitely a product for people with dry skin in my opinion.
Tips: If you have dry skin this may be worth a go but if you have oily skin you may be disappointed.
I have been using L'Oréal luminosity serum for two weeks and I am really happy with it so far. I use it morning and night after cleansing, toning and before moisturiser. I am always fighting my dry skin and my face usually sucks up most products and I dont notice a huge benefit to my skin. Serums included. This on the other hand has definately made a difference. My skin is smoother and nowhere near as dry.and not just for a few hours after application. I have noticed an all day lasting effect. I look forward to applying this to my face. It feels refreshing and like I am doing something good for my skin. So far I havent noticed a huge change in my pigmentation spots. Maybe a slight change but hopefully over time that will happen. I have used estee lauder serums in the past at 3 or 4 times the price and would say results are on par with these. Very glad I made this spur of the moment purchase. And would like to try the rest of this line now also.
Tips: Cleanse. Tone. Serum. Moisturiser. In that order.
